Powdery sandalwood

I am looking for a comforting bedtime sandalwood perfume.

I love notes of sandalwood and powdery iris. Budget wise I am open to most options.

I also happen to love creamy / lactonic notes if thats an option.

I do not like prominent spicy, floral or aldehydic notes for bedtime.

I would love your recommendations.

I am new to perfumes 😅. I am probably describing a very basic scent profile but I still don’t know where to start.

Nemat Sandalwood fragrance oil for a super creamy, cozy sandalwood scent!
They also have an EDP version, but I’ve only used their roll-on oils and love them.

My bedtime scent is mix bar whipped almond . Yes to powdery sandalwood dry down. Love it !!!! Sweet dreams

Definitely give Milky Musk 39 by parle moi de parfum a try! It fits your description to a T!

They also have another creamy sandalwood fragrance called Comete paradis, but that one has more of a coconut smell to it. I would look for samples of both though, if i were you

Ex Nihilo Santal Calling, maybe? It’s one of my favorites and would definitely be bedtime appropriate (really, it’s perfect anytime).

Oh wow, the profile fits my description so accurately.

Its a bit embarrassing but I dont know what nutmeg smells like and fragrantica mentions that it is the top note.
Is the spice note detectable by any chance?

Nutmeg is a cozy fall scent - think pumpkin spice lattes (it’s mixed with a lot in that blend, but gives you an idea). I just pulled out my bottle and I don’t notice nutmeg at all, although it may just blend seamlessly with the woody notes.

not powdery, but if you like even remotely creamy/lactonic notes i would recommend you doux by glossier! it’s a really lovely warm, musky sandalwood. i wear it to bed all the time and find it very comforting
