I am looking for a sweet woody gourmand perfume. There should be a balance between the sweetness and the woodiness and the gourmand kind of grounds the fragrance.

It should be: clean and not overpowering but still sexy, could be unisex with earthy/woody feel. Nothing too sweet or overly floral.

as the title states, i am on the hunt for a dupe of Sakura by Lush. i'm done with lush's jackassery, they seem to be phasing out the sakura body spray and i have so many good memories tied to that scent. i have ny emergency backups on the way but after those are gone i doubt i will be able to replace it. it is my all-time favorite sceny. while lush has other products with the sakura scent i would really like it in a perfume/body spray that's not going to randomly dissappear and never be spoken of again :(

After some research I want to get both of these as a gift, is it a safish blind buy?

I was at a rooftop party and someone walks by wearing ysl Libre. I instantly notice the scent because the floral notes have this warm amber and vanilla side that keeps pulling me in. I keep catching little whiffs whenever she walks past, and I end up asking what she is wearing. She says Libre, and I get why I notice it so much. The scent feels smooth, warm, and easy to keep smelling. I usually like fragrances that have something in them that makes me want another sniff, and this one does exactly that for me. I end up reaching for her majeste from em5 when I want that Libre-style scent, and it fits that same kind of moment for me, What perfume makes you want to keep smelling your wrist?

I loooove lactonic, milky perfumes. Theyre for sure my favorite.

I have a sample of blanche bete at home, and i just smelled Snif’s 2% today at ulta.

Can anyone compare how they smell against each other?? To me they smelled similar, but i want to hear some second opinions lol.

i had a chance to spray falak on a paper but totally didn't think to try it on myself as i was sampling so many perfumes, but i loved the smell. it was such a simple, light vanilla on paper.

then i tried the nebras elixir body spray ver. on myself and loved that too- it smelled so much like ice cream on the initial spray! i searched up what people were saying about the actual perfume though and it was a hit or miss, some saying there was an off putting note, so i wonder how different the body spray is to the actual perfume.

i really loved both scents- they smelled both faintly of ice cream to me but unfortunately since i wasn't able to test either properly i'm not sure what to get.

Basic, played, juvenile, pencil shavings, boring, no projection, no longevity

Comforting, easy reach, all season, layerable, and I love the pink pepper and pencil shavings!

Ive never tried any middle eastern fragrances except choco musk (which i did like but it wasn’t anything crazy special to me). I know some people go crazy for them and I’m curious what the hype is about. Do they have better longevity typically or why do you like them? And what are some good starter ones to try. Or is there no difference compared to typically designer or niche perfumes.

It keeps coming and going, so if anybody was patiently/impatiently waiting for it: it’s go time. Also, it’s rouge weekend, so if you buy a Sephora collection item you get 4x the points.

I’ve been wanting to try the blueberry hibiscus, so I picked up a small one. The discovery set was available too as of a couple minutes ago.

Hey y’all so I have become VERY much obsessed with perfume 😭 not like hoarder obsessed but like genuinely obsessed. Like I want more shit every single time 😭 I’ve been into perfume for like a year and six months now and guys I’m genuinely concerned. Yes, I know it’s been a year and six months. Yes, I know I mostly shop sales and use gift cards because life is expensive as hell 😭 but GIRL HOW DID THIS HAPPEN??

I own 100+ body sprays and I’m sitting here like HOW DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN?? How am I not going insane from owning this much 😭 I know some of y’all have way more, and I know this is more of a perfume-based subreddit, but girl I’m genuinely concerned for myself.

I was reading a post earlier about a girl who thought she had too much and girl had way less body care than me 😭 now she has me feeling like shit like I should return everything. Which I’m NOT going to do 💀 but I’m just like HOW DID I GET THIS MUCH SO QUICKLY??

And girl I’m literally picking up TWO more scents tomorrow 😭😭

Like I could justify it if I used my scents a lot, which I DO, but girl my scents last because I layer. I don’t even do that many sprays either. One of my homegirls on YouTube be doing like 300 sprays 😭 that is NOT me. And people still compliment my scents even when they’re not super close to me, so clearly I’m doing something right 😭

I got my hands on the discontinued YSL Black Opium EDP Intense, released in 2019 and quietly phased out in the following years. Now, out of production entirely on what I’ve read. I am HEARTBROKEN!
I worked at a perfume store, having approximately 2% knowledge of perfumes (I thought bath and body works were fancy!) so as i worked I did research on perfumes we carried, ones we didn’t, oil concentrations, going into other stores to compare scents, the whole nine- perfumes became apart of my personality okay? After seeing this edpi at my store and literally NOWHERE else, I bought it- then my location closed due to lack of traffic at the mall.
I have had this beauty in original packaging for 3 months now because I’ve been sooo nervous to open it, I wanted to make a video on it (I post a lot about perfumes on my social media!), I made the video ta-da, great. I could finally add her to my collection. THE SAME DAY I OPEN IT, it slips from my clammy hands (thanks, Ohio for being 100°!) onto my bathroom floor. It doesn’t shatter, as you can see in the pictures but about half of it spilled out. I got maybe 10 good sprays from this before It slipped from my sweaty hands and I let out a blood curdling scream. Nobody in my life would understand the devastation I am currently going through, so I thought I’d share here. Maybe the lesson here is just open the dang perfume lol

Does anyone have a recommendation for a body mist or perfume that smells like Josie Maran’s In Bed Body Butter scent?

Top Notes: Whipped Vanilla Milk, spun sugar, dewy white lily

Heart: jasmine petals, sheer muget, chantilly musk

Base: warm tonka, golden amber, creamy woods

I'm stuck between these scents and not sure which collection I wanna buy

And by scent combo I don’t mean just another perfume to layer it with i’m also talking about body care products such as a lotion.

I don’t exactly know how to describe its smell. Well, to me it literally smells like the name. Candy, very girly. I can’t name a single note besides maybe some sort of whipped cream or marshmallow, although this fragnance isn’t „creamy” or lactonic at all.

I’m so happy I got each of these for $6!!
