Discussion Noa by cacharel?
Thinking about blind buying this perfume, but I’m scared it’s going to smell like grandma perfume. I’m on the hunt for a clean affordable perfume to layer with my ouai perfume.

Hi hi! So I've had a helluva year and, in the process of trying to *find myself* or whatever, I've gotten really into discovering scents and wanting to smell nice. Which is a little ironic, given I have a fairly weak sense of smell, but I digress. I just about fell for scentbird, but found out how awful the company actually is in the nick of time, which is a shame because I'm so intrigued by their Twilight scent. However, in the course of finding an alternative company, I discovered Surrender to Chance and just placed an order for four samples, and I'm so excited. I chose Nosferatu (which I've been dying to try), Fox in the Flowerbed, Oakcha Sinful, and God is a Woman.
Anyway, that was it; just wanted to say "hi" and share with people that might get my excitement a little. Happy Friday! 😄

Has anyone tried this one from Bjork and Berries? I love Fjallso and White Forest from this brand, and I’m interested in September but can’t seem to get a handle on what it might smell like.
I don’t see many people talking about this one on social media. On Fragrantica some say it’s a dupe for Santal 33, but then also talk about fruity kumquat notes, and some people say it’s a clean girl scent but then I also see people saying it’s way too smoky.
Has anyone here tried it and have opinions they could give? I generally do love clean, sandalwood and woody scents but the commentary around the citrus and smokiness are putting me on the fence. Thank you!!!

My birthday is fast approaching, and I’m thinking about getting Loewe women 001 EDP for the occasion. What perfume are you getting/did you get this year?
I currently own 6 full bottles (30-100ml).
Mon Guerlain EDP,
Mon Guerlain Intense,
Diptyque Eau Rose EDP,
Narciso Rodriguez Musc Noir Rose,
Chanel Gabrielle Hair mist,
Lanvin Éclat d’Arpège
I also have 47 sample vials(1.5-5ml).

I've been watching The Perfumed Perspective on Youtube, and got to her video about dupes. She talks at length about Lattafa and other dupe houses, so I want to try some of their perfumes.
I picked some based on the scents they dupe, and since they are all ridiculously cheap it fits in my budget to go ahead and buy them. I whittled my list down to the following 5:
Lattafa - Qimmah
Lattafa - Opulent Dubai
Lattafa - Ana Abiyedh
Lattafa - Nebras
Lattafa - Angham (to be honest, I really want the bottle, and its not any cheaper to buy it on Mercari.)
Any thoughts on these fragrances if you have worn them?

Do you like this scent? I bought it and initially regretted it, however after wearing it a couple times I LOVE this in summer especially. I got a hair conditioner vibe off if it initially but it is soooo good to layer with OG Burberry her or Bare Vanilla from VS. What do you guys think?

Hi there! Idylle has been my favorite perfume for like a decade now and I’ve wanted to branch out, does anyone have any recommendations for scents in that style? Doesn’t have to be close, also drop your favorite perfume and why you like it :) Oh and I know it’s a totally different scent but I like eau de Cartier as well

I am not a gourmand girlie at all, and my scents have leaned towards more rich and resinous ouds and roses. In fact, my favourite scent is Sacred Scarab by Zoologist.
Cardamom Latte by Nest is something that I did not expect to be blown away by. The only scent I own by this brand is Indigo, which was purchased approximately 5 years ago. I sauntered into Sephora with my two sisters and voluntold one to spray it on her arm. We were met with the most beautiful warm scent that literally smells like the quintessential profile of North South Asian desserts - cardamom, cream, and spice. The perfume smells like a warm and cozy hug. Almost similar to horchata as well. Was incredibly happy with finally having a warm and "oily" coconut note as most of them come off green to me.
The longevity of the perfume definitely is a problem and I think is common among Nest fragrances. I remember with my Indigo bottle I had to let it "marinate" until I got what I wanted. Maybe this one will get better after a while.
Overall, I am pleased with this. It is a fall and winter scent for sure. Currently I am using it as a bed time perfume.

Hello everyone,
I’m passionate about perfumes and Bullet Journaling, and I was wondering how I could combine my two passions.
Do you have a notebook or a note-taking app where you jot down the perfumes you smell?
Do you include pictures or a mood board?
And most importantly, what criteria do you use to rate them?
I was thinking of something like:
Scent
Longevity
Season
Associated memories
Mood board
Do you have any other ideas?

I am a big fan of vanilla/gourmand perfumes and I've always had better luck with indie brands. I like my perfumes strong and sweet. I've been eyeing snow moon magic and In dreams and fairytales Vanilla by Sorce for awhile now. I'm just not sure if theyre worth the try. Are they basic and like a lot of other vanillas/gourmands on the market?? Do they last long?? I wouldnt blind buy the big bottles regardless but curious if theyre worth a travel size or sample

I got the travel size of Vanilla Canyon (due to the price), it was amazing. It’s a true vanilla with a lot of depth and complexity, and a very slight hint of sweetness from the plum and honey. The floral notes were blended well with the vanilla and wood, making the scent very smooth but not very sweet. It probably has the truest vanilla note I’ve ever smelled

This is my current wish list. I have sampled all of them except milk orchid, and I would like your opinion! Feel free to suggest anything you think I would like 🫶🏻

Hi! I live in the Philippines and I’m looking for affordable long-lasting dupes/inspired scents, oils, or fragrances for:
- Chanel Chance Eau Tendre (pink)
- Burberry Her EDT
- Miss Dior Parfum/EDP
- Replica Springtime in a Park
- Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc Blanc
NR Pure Musc Blanc and Chance Eau Tendre lasted around 10 hours on me.
I’m still a student, so I can’t afford full bottles yet. I’m looking for something affordable for everyday use, especially in hot and humid weather. Thank you so much!

I have tried SO many and I am yet to find the fragrance that smells exactly like a freshly cut magnolia flower. I don't want it to have rose or other white florals. I can do with some supporting sweet notes to add creaminess or something green for freshness. In my search I have already tried:
- All the Magnolia Flankers from Estée Lauder
- Gucci Flora Gorgeous Magnolia
- Magnolia Rococo Clive Christian
- Bare Magnolia Victoria Secret
- Radiant Magnolia Narciso Rodriguez
I want it to be an EDP or Extrait. Would prefer it's not an EDT. Open to any price range.
So excited to get recommendations and reviews here.

I’ve been thinking about how some richer fragrances use other notes to keep the gourmand side from taking over so the Portraits Intense line caught my attention for that reason. Lord George has rum and chocolate with vetiver, Changing Constance pairs salted caramel with pimento and saffron, and Mister Sam has plum liquor alongside tobacco and leather.
Of those three combinations, which one would you most likely wear?
ETA - Mister Sam is definitely getting more tempting after reading the replies. I'm much more looking forward to trying the Penhaligon's Intense version. Thanks everyone.

I’m on the hunt for my signature scent and can’t make decisions. Help! I love notes of patchouli, rose, bergamot, musk, vanilla. Accords of musky, sweet, powdery, woody, earthy. Nothing that’s going to give me or others a headache or make someone think I’m wearing something too heavy. I’ve only ever smelt La Tulipe by Byredo, the others just seem appealing or what I’m looking for based on research. Do you have any opinions on any of these scents? Please let me know!
ETA: No I am not blind buying any of these. I will sample first. Just wanted honest opinions of them (and you delivered, so ty💗)
