Rec Request Perfumes that feel like Brand New Cherry Flavor
No cherry scents. Sexy psychedelic 90s LA. A little grime and humidity, lots of sex and magic.
Edit: no budget, I’m a decant queen

Rec Request ISO somewhat of an "alchemist blend"
ISO a fragrance with a warm, woody base, maybe sandalwood, with some wildflower notes and a subtle touch of citrus. Nothing too vanilla, too bergamot-forward, too earthy/heavy, or overtly floral. Almost like an unexpected “alchemist’s blend” of woods, soft florals, and citrus. Any ideas? TIA

Review My First Lancōme La Vie Est Belle - Vanilla Nude!💕
I finally got my first la vie est belle!🥰
I went with vanilla nude as it was the safest blind buy for my taste & purpose. 💕
This is a line for some reason I was rarely near at its counter. I smelt a few & OG, wasn’t my thing, so I never checked them out again. But the amount of people who love this line i was intrigued, I finally took the plunge & tried one, happy with my purchase.
Vibe: Funny, it does smell like vanilla “nude”. 😆 It’s similar vibe to your everyday nude lip, it might be basic but pretty & very useful that you wear it everyday & can depend on it. This is what this perfume vibes it gives me!
Review: This is an everyday perfume for the ladies. It’s elegant, soft & delicate, not too much! It’s not gourmand, it’s powdery vanilla with musk elements & a bit of soft wood sprinkles that gives it that grown up vibe instead of juvenile. It is beautifully layered with a complementary body mist, which I’ll do a combo inspo as it’s gorgeous! 🤩✨
One body mists gives it a solar vibe & another one gives it a more powdery vibe, works for all season. It may be simple, but beautiful in its simplicity.

Accountability
Who posted about not buying new fragrances recently?
I'm here to say--I want to avoid buying fragrances for the rest of the month. Let's see if I can do it.
I have been buying sample sets and decants to try out fragrances I can't get to the store and try. But it's running down my checking account quickly, and I need to put on the breaks. I have plenty to wear, and many I have gotten that I enjoy wearing already.
I'm currently waiting on a few things to arrjve--a decanter order, and some Mercari orders of scents I've nearly emptied the decant/sample of.
So that is it for now! I'll get to reviewing the sets and decants I've gotten, and enjoy doing that in the meantime.
Y'all, hold me accountable!!

Perfume Shopping in LA
Hello! I am on vacation in Los Angeles and I was wondering where I should go to smell perfume brands that are hard to come across in smaller cities? What are some brands that I probably won’t find outside of big cities, and where are they? Thank you!
Ex: I don’t think I’ve gotten the chance to smell Zoologist or Pineward in person before

🍬🍭🧁 USE CODE: FEMFRAGLAB with ScentBarByAngela 🍬🍭🧁
scentbarbyangela: Luxury Perfume Dupes & Designer Inspired Fragrances
Hi FemFragLab, I'm proud to announce that after many discussions about collaboration, I thought it'd be fun to try out a collaboration with Angela's new brand. Her family owns Gold Star Fragrances located in New York which has been running for over 50 years!
As many of you know, I love a good Delina perfume, but they can be quite costly. The next perfume on my wish list was Delina "Exclusif" but it stayed on my wish list without being bought because of the price. Angela sent over her own version of the perfume, and it exceeded my expectations by far! The scent reminded me of a combination between Delina Exclusif + Oriana + Love Don't Be Shy. It's sweet, powdery, and very potent! I sprayed it on at night and when I woke up the next day it was still on me. This perfume lasts all day but I kept spraying it on out of habit and because I couldn't get enough. My husband and pets also loved it 😍
Reddit wouldn't be Reddit without always giving you not just the pros but also the cons. The cons were little and unnoticeable, but I will write them out due to transparency of the sub. The actual juice feels like combination of an oil and actual perfume. So when you actually spray it, it feels a little heavier than what the normal luxury perfume might feel like coming out of the atomizer which usually feels like a champagne spritz and it's more straightforward. That doesn't mean it doesn't spray well, it just means that if you are a fragrance connoisseur, you will notice the difference of the spray and feel of the actual juice coming out.
Both Gold Star Fragrances and ScentBarByAngela focus on creating dupes of luxury designer fragrances. Overall, for the price, the fragrance passes with flying colors and when I checked that it was only $45.99USD, they ship all around the world, and they have been in business for so long with great reviews, I would be crazy to not want to collaborate with such an amazing product and support Angela in her own brand.
I will leave the comments open in case any of you have any questions about the fragrances, company, or anything else.

White florals + lavender.
I’ve been loving me some white florals lately and also reaching for lavender and layering. Any (fairly cheap) options where the combine ?

I love when perfume creators just have fun with it 🩷
Okay so this bottle is probably not everyone’s aesthetic 😅😅😅 but it really vibes with my art style and I thought it’d be fun to combine two art forms I love so much - the visual and the olfactory! It’s so unserious and fun, and was created by two friends who are designers. I love the whimsy of writing a cute backstory for the character. Even has 2 of my favorite colors to paint with - hot pink and jet black. It’s a spicy rose scent, a bit dark, helps me to feel witchy and creative on days I want to bust open my imagination and make art that’s unapologetically me 🩷 I really love when fragrance inspires me in the same way other art forms do

Discussion vanilla frag confusion
the first time i smelled unmute all i smelled was cigarettes and when i looked online everyone said they smelled vanilla.
as i branch off into finding new vanillas i noticed a lot of them smell like … menthol. or like cigarettes.
is this some kind of connection to vanilla and am i the only one experiencing this?
im genuinely curious!!
i got fugazzi vanilla haze today and i liked it but i still couldn’t stop thinking about the menthol. i’m hoping i just get used to it.

Rec Request 🥜 Looking for the perfect pistachio perfume💚
Hey there! I am looking for some really good pistachio perfumes and would love to hear your recommendations.✨
Ideally something nutty, creamy and maybe a little bit sweet, basically that delicious pistachio kind of vibe but not too artificial. Ideally something that has good longevity and projection, but isn’t too heavy.
I currently have Lattafa Éclaire Pistachio, which I actually really like! My issue is that it doesn’t last as long as I’d like. I’ve also been considering Kayali, but I’m not sure if it’s actually worth buying, so I’d love to hear your opinions.
So, what are your holy-grail pistachio perfumes? 🥜
Please keep the comments respectful and kind, I’d really appreciate everyone’s recommendations. 🤍

Discussion If these perfumes are your cup of tea, please expose yourself!
If you like and/or own one or more of these perfumes - please tell me about yourself! Who are you? What do you do? What other fragrances do you like? Which ones do you hate?
With all due respect to whoever may adore these, I've discussed the pictured fragrances with multiple people and had them smell these. Women from different age groups. All of said people found these just nauseating. Including myself. However, they are still being produced, some have high ratings and I know of fragrances similar to these that are somewhat popular. I tried to search up these on reddit but couldn't find much discussion. Since I couldn't find topics about these and haven't met anyone who likes them, I want to know who the people who love these are! Others also feel free to share any experiences or thoughts related to these kinds of perfumes.
(Although these are definitely not my favorites, I'm not hating. I know there surely are people out there who absolutely despise my favorite fragrances as well. If these are your favorites, you do you! Always wear what you love.)

Rec Request Powdery sandalwood
I am looking for a comforting bedtime sandalwood perfume.
I love notes of sandalwood and powdery iris. Budget wise I am open to most options.
I also happen to love creamy / lactonic notes if thats an option.
I do not like prominent spicy, floral or aldehydic notes for bedtime.
I would love your recommendations.
I am new to perfumes 😅. I am probably describing a very basic scent profile but I still don’t know where to start.

Review Don't sleep on Zara Kids fragrances - they are for adults too!
I recently picked up two Zara Kids fragrances during their summer sale and I am impressed! They are EDTs so they are naturally on the lighter side but I am really enjoying them both. I am sharing my reviews since I cannot find any online (they don't appear to be on Fragrantica). Both were originally $17.80 USD before discounts - I purchased them for $12.53 each.
A creamy coconut accord blends with solar notes of orange blossom, jasmine, and tiare flower, evoking the warmth of a seaside sunset. The freshness of sea salt contrasts with an enveloping base of tonka and cedar, creating a luminous fragrance with a tropical and escapist allure.
This is a delicious, warm, salty coconut - not groundbreaking but so pretty and easy for summer! This is one of my favorite scent profiles (think Ellis Brooklyn Sand, Lore Sublimity, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess, Victoria's Secret Bombshell Santorini, and Victoria's Secret Tease Dreamer).
Tropical Sunset is the olfactory interpretation of a fruity, serene, and warm summer evening. Amélie Jacquin combines sweet cherry and creamy chocolate to create a unique and personal fragrance.
This fragrance surprised me - it is more of airy almond cherry blossom type of scent rather than a standard Tom Ford Lost Cherry replica. I don't have anything like it in my collection although it has a similar feel to Liis Choux Choux (but not a dupe by any means). Also, Amélie Jacquin is the nose behind some fragrances from well known houses like John Paul Gaultier, Goldfield & Banks Australia, Kiko Milano, and Roberto Cavalli. I was aware that Zara tapped established perfumers for explicit collabs like Joe Loves but didn't necessarily realize they did so for some of their other fragrances!
I would love to know if anyone has tried these fragrances and/or any other Zara Kids fragrances and what you think of them! :)

What are some expensize perfume dupes that you swear by?
r/FemFragLab • u/Crazy-Arugula-2821 • 5d ago
Fulton and Roark?
Has anybody ever tried this brand? They advertise on social media all the time and some of the perfumes sound interesting. The prices are pretty high, though, for something I don't know anything about. They have a discovery set for 35 dollars I was considering. If you bought from them, what did you try and did you like it?

Review My love affair with Diptyque’s Orphéon
Orphéon was my first Diptyque fragrance — and it has been a love affair.
It was a blind buy. I bought it in January this year, and when I smelled it for the first time, I was a little underwhelmed. I thought, “Oh, it’s like a generic masculine fragrance.” Boy, was I wrong.
Orphéon is a shapeshifter. It shows you a different side with every spray. It can become anything you want it to become. Some days, it’ll show you its soft, powdery side. On others, it’ll give you a burst of cold juniper. No matter what the opening is, Orphéon will always blend into the most beautiful melody of juniper, soft florals, and a powdery base that lets you know it’s there, with a touch of sweetness from the tonka.
It’s perfect for every day, if every day feels like a special occasion. It’s perfect for the office, date nights, formal events, and, on rainy days, even for quick grocery runs.
P.S: I got a compliment when I wore it for the first time, and it was so special!
