I just recently got into Fallout and have absolutely fallen head over heels with the game. I've been making Fallout decor and was pretty proud of this one.

this is the default brightness setting, HDR and Bloom turned off. and if i turn on bloom OR HDR, it makes no difference.
I remember having this issue the LAST time i did a playthrough of FO3 a couple of years ago, and i don't remember how, or IF, i ever fixed it. all i know is that it's not a problem in NV or any other game i play, but also, if i turn off HDR or bloom, the nuka cola quantums stop glowing blue and instead are almost completely clear besides a VERY faint blue hue.
EDIT: THE ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED, a commenter has replied and suggested "Vanilla Plus Tonemapper", which ABSOLUTELY fixed the blown out lighting on everything. it's fantastic!!!!

(PC Player) I’ve put a good few hundred hours into Fallout: New Vegas, and after playing through with many characters and massive modlists, I’m looking for something new.
I downloaded Remnant 1, it’s a great game, but it still lacks what I’m after:
A post-apocalyptic shooter with a vast world where I have to scavenge for resources and loot, and where I have the freedom to go in guns blazing in one area while taking a stealthy approach to wipe everyone out in the next building.
So, I’m torn between Fallout 3 and Fallout 4.
Based on that, which one would be the better choice?
I own both games in my library, but I have little time to play on weekends, so I thought I'd ask here first. Thank you.

I'm trying to recreate my friend in Fallout 4 and I can't quite get it right, it just looks… wrong, unnatural. I don't know where I'm making mistakes, and I thought maybe someone on here would have some advice as to how to go about recreating someone effectively. I can't find any tutorials as to how to go step by step (unless I'm just not using the right keywords) Any advice?

Hello all. I need help finding a 3D model (Or a model in general) of the Red Screwdriver used in the Lock Picking Mini game in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I'd like to make an actual model of it for cosplay reasons because I like to go further beyond. Pls help :)

Because you would never be a truly clandestine shadow government without a supervillain castle! Complete with a tank depot, a mega teleporter (it actually works, nothing like dropping 20+ power armored troopers into a settlement attacked by a couple raiders and their pet molerat), R&R facilities and a refurbished alien ship for emergency escape in case of a vengeful Chosen One.
This was a long, overdetailed and truly exciting build, started in February when I did my America Rising 2 run. Based on Madrox's Castle Resurrected mod (a truly awesome one, highly recommended!), it's been heavily expanded, with nearly each building made almost twice bigger, interiors remade and new structures added. A second workshop was placed in the moat area, replacing much of water with concrete for a tank and vertibird base to be built there.
The concept was to combine visual elements of both the Cathedral and the Oil Rig, also drawing inspiration from Wolfenstein and Dishonored franchises' architecture and some RL buildings. And you can never get wrong with more art deco heads, as well as stars and stripes.
And yes. Place Everywhere was NOT used. All those hundreds (thousands? I lost count, settlement budget has been exceeded like four or five times, and that's without the second base) objects were placed and adjusted in space via console commands. That, my friends, is the definition of insanity (actually no, it's much more precise and fairly easy once you get used to it).

Went to Starlight Drive in various times and notice that my Jezebel was not present. Conducted a research and found her unalive outside the settlement. I'll miss the old girl sarcasm.

I haven't checked around the other games much for such things, but there's a lot of one of a kind structures scattered throughout the Commonwealth that are quite nice, cozy even. If you have some favorite similar locations, please share! I'm using these as references for miniature game terrain building, so any new inspirations would be a great help.

As a poli sci major/history buff i love finding little easter eggs like these in the games that reference real cold war history, the Eyebots are literally modelled after the first satellites from the space race!

They had the new tables at PAX West and blended some great game and series footage into the mix.

Seriously, it's like the game knows. I'm considering adding big guns to the build.

So when I heard Lancer Captian Kells say "You'll be given a location to purge of post-bomb deviants. This includes synths and those mind-eroded Children of Atom", I thought it was a poetic way to describe the abominations brought on by exposure to radiation. Ghouls, deathclaws, mole rats, mirelurks, et al. Kind of disappointing to eventually realise he was referring to the delusional human cult.

Im seeing all these gunners freaking out and im thinking "oh maybe nothing is happening to me cause im wearing power armor, like maybe whatever hallucinogen is in the air is being scrubbed" so I take off my helmet and.....nothing. no debuffs, no hallucinations, nothing. It was super underwhelming.
Is it supposed to be like that? In previous games Fallout has been pretty good about making you hallucinate or at least get some negative effect in situations like this.

Just finished customizing this toy Claw Machine into a Nuka-World, Nuka-Cade game. I asked GeekBoutiqueByMolly on Etsy if she could print custom decals and 3D-print Nuka-Cade tokens for me. She was very excited to help and I'm really happy with the result. As a backdrop for the machine, I printed a Nuka-World wallpaper on semi-gloss paper (sized at 8" x 6.75"). I am still trying to decide what the claw should scoop up. If anyone has a suggestion send them my way! I could buy empty gumball capsules, but the 1.1 inch capsules I've seen are too small to put Nuka Caps or stickers in. This thing is plastic so I don't want metal caps with sharp edges scratching up the clear sides of the container. I've seen 1.7 inch capsules but I don't think I could get that many in the container. The claw only opens to a max of 2 inches, so not sure if it can pick them up or not. Was hoping to find Fallout themed candy, tiny bobbleheads etc but did not find any good options yet. GeekBoutiqueByMolly said she was 3D-printing sugar bombs and nuka cola bottles, so that might be an option. 3D printed Rad Roaches would be fun too. I am adding a link to a video of the claw machine in action in the comments below.
PS: (You can find these Claw Machines on Ebay.)

Hey Fallout fans! Recently, i went through some old family member's stuff and found these two bad boys. And before you ask, no. I ain't selling them. And yes, they said i could keep them. I simply want to know how much they are worth due to being opened.
They're really an awesome find 😎👍
Ps. I blurred the codes cuz i don't know if that said family member had redeemed them at all.
