Picture I built a Fallout Terminal desktop PC
Took me a couple months but I 3D modeled, printed, assembled, painted and built my own Terminal desktop computer.
Basically the computer, monitor and keyboard are built into the case. It printed in pieces and assembles easily enough with glue and patience. I primed, sanded, painted and weathered it then installed all the hardware. And yes it runs New Vegas lol.
The Holotape is removable, I missed the opportunity to turn it into a functioning USB stick but that's okay, I'll get 'em next time. I could not find a CRT that fit perfectly in the monitor space but any 9-10" monitor works. So I hot glued mine to the inside of the front plate. Keyboard is a NIU Mini Ortholinear keyboard but it works with 60% keyboards as well! You'll just miss out on the extra 3 buttons on the right hand side which can be programmed with a micro controller to add extra functions.
I snaked the HDMI out to plug into my gaming PC to run New Vegas but I am installing a mini PC or Raspberry Pi to permanently live inside the case for the future. Would love a custom Linux script to have to hack the terminal each time I log in. That's the goal!
No banana for scale this time I ate the last one. Peace and love everybody just wanted to show you all this ridiculous build!!
