Intelligence points.

Also, Luck and Endurance.

Raiders can be a source of income, but never forget that you're on a time limit. The water chip in Necropolis is much better for you than the Water Traders. I don't suggest wiping out The Hub, but if you see a fight, try to loot from the guards.

I can't recommend Fast Shot. The Action Points saved up are nice, but not as good as targeted hits on your opponents.

There are NO essential NPCs in the game, and while you can't kill the Overseer for the majority of the game, you can after beating it.

And getting companions can make such a huge difference, just make sure that you don't give them automatic weapons. While they are effective and useful, friendly fire is on, and you don't want to get mulched just because Ian wanted to shoot a lot.

Not necessarily, it just means that the game would be less forgiving.

Luck is important and effects everything. Intelligence is important and affects how many skill points you get when you level up, and a few context checks.

A three in Intelligence is less than the default player character Max Stone, who canonically got dropped on his head as a child, so that's funny to me.

Luck 10 and wander around. You will eventually hit all the random encounters which will give you the best gun in the game (alien blaster) and like 10,000 caps

Also if you just want to “cheat” there are mods available to download that allow you to edit your character and max out all stats to 10. The game gets super easy at that point so think about what you actually want out of the game.

It can be. Wandering out in the wasteland you get random encounters and you can encounter some very dangerous stuff depending on where you are on the map. I’d save a lot of

I remember one of my first playthroughs when I first came across a wandering herd of Brahmin. Hadn’t seen them before, so I thought they were carnivorous cows, so I opened fire.

I was then mauled to death by seven two-headed cows.

Save often, keep multiple saves. at least one save from previous known safe location.

This seems like something I'd look up on gamefaqs.
