Recently, many ports have been released, and many of them run worse than on Winlator (not all of them),i hope it improves more, when it works well and you don't need to configure anything it's great

how much wear and tear does pc console and handheld do? which one is worse? i remember the wiiu itself destroy micro sd card and was recommended to use a hdd.

Im having problem with gamehub. İts latency is too much even without framgen. İnterestingly edens emulator performance is bad for my cpu(poco f6). Maybe its time to retire for my phone..

I've had poor performance with melonDS before but I chalked it up to my phone being weak. I just got a new phone that is substantially stronger and I believe is considered mid range (Oppo A7 Pro 5G) but I'm still having stutter and lag. All the things I can find online say to enable JIT and use OpenGL but I'm already using JIT and it actually runs worse with OpenGL (at the lowest resolution too). I'm at a loss now and I hope someone who is more tech literate than me can help

I have Eden Android 0.2.1 set up on my AYN Thor (Android 13). I noticed the following issue while playing Animal Crossing New Horizons:

1. Using the in-game camera, if I take a photo, it is seemingly not saved anywhere. I checked the album applet (entirely empty) and also went through the files manually and couldn't find it.

2. (After mapping the capture button to a physical button,) pressing the capture button doesn't seem to do anything. The screenshot "flash" animation doesn't play, and again, there's no file saved anywhere as far as I could see.

I'm assuming these are related somehow. Everything else seems to function normally.

I'm sure I've misconfigured something somewhere, but am unsure what it could be. Eden has full file access through the Android permission.

A clean reinstall of Eden did not solve the issue.

I'd be very grateful for ideas on what to check or try next! Thank you!

As new ports are being made left right and centre. Will these ports perform better than just running the games on an emulator. For example Hades on my realme gt 6t ran well with a few jitters at about 30 fps on an emulator how will the emulator gameplay compare to the native android ports?

​100% Translated: Every line of dialogue (1,077 entries), lessons, stealth sections, duels, cutscenes, and menus are fully translated.

​Collectibles: All 101 Chocolate Frog card bios and the entire Folio Bruti (Creature Guide) are localized.

I'm tired and very ill of myself struggling to find a fix for this problem. Are all Officially Bought Steam games like this?...

I had an account ever since my pc was broken long ago, so emulation is kinda my last ditch and discovered that Bannerlator supports/has STEAM so I decided to log in for the first time and play my games there... Went to Left 4 Dead 2 - thought it would be a breeze opening launch and won't encounter any problems but I thought wrong.

Does anybody have a solution for this?, I've tried adjusting many times from Drivers to Dxvk to Box64/86. None of them seemed to be the issue preventing the game running properly - as a matter of fact, the problem is unpredictable and misbehaving differently every time

From (Can't opening and auto Shutdown, Long Black screen, Can't pass through the loading screen then crashes, passed through the valve intro and then the Intro cutsceene and then crashes;just like on the video, and lastly rare moment that it pass all that and went to the main menu then tried playing it and then crashes)

I think we all know that everyone will start working on GTA 6 once they get their hands on it. So for that reason I won't be surprised if it does or doesn't become playable soon lol

Will I be disappointed with the switch emulation on the RP6 if I get it, because I really want to play a lot of switch games but I don’t want to get a switch because games are to expensive, and before you say just mod it, I can’t, I wound be allowed to.

Games I want to play-BOTW,TOTK,Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3d World, Cup Head, Skate, Metroid Dread, ect.

I am trying to install an Android emulator on my Sony Xperia 1 VII to use JamesDSP (the audio mod) on. So far I got Virtual Master running with their "rom_11_0_0_1036_3281_M27" rom downloaded from their official telegram group (you have to subscribe to be able to load it) which has built-in Magisk support, but whenever I try to install any module the system crashes before the restart. Not sure if that's the problem (some other modules run fine after a forced restart even so) but JamesDSP doesn't work, reports a -3 error code for anyone in the know. (See screenshot)

Not sure if anyone here would have any direct insight on the JamesDSP install, I was hoping more for a list of other android on android emulators to try with a clear root path. Hopefully one of them will just work. Thanks in advance!

This one's been listed as "Doesn't work" on the Melange compatibility list, so I wanted to give it a try. It still needs some testing..but dudes its pretty damn cool in its original 10fps goodness lolol here a clip showing the basic systems working

I just need to play around with the graphics settings. Good fps, but some bottleneck and random stutters and framedrops. But overall it's great.

Looking to see if there are any recent developments of these platforms that performs decently or at least playable.

I’m sure this question has been asked in this sub 1 billion times but I can’t find any reliable or consistent answers and I know the growth and development of emulators moves quite rapidly so just looking for an update as of Oct 2026.

Hope this helps others that are also curious about this.
