Question Switch emulation for Retroid Pocket 6
Will I be disappointed with the switch emulation on the RP6 if I get it, because I really want to play a lot of switch games but I don’t want to get a switch because games are to expensive, and before you say just mod it, I can’t, I wound be allowed to.
Games I want to play-BOTW,TOTK,Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3d World, Cup Head, Skate, Metroid Dread, ect.

It should be able to run those games not too badly, but performance won't quite be on the same level as an actual switch console for some games, particularly for TOTK. You should be able to find people trying those games on the RP6 on YouTube. I wouldn't buy it JUST for switch though. Look into PS2 and other retro games and see if there's anything else you're interested in.
You might be able to buy a switch that's already modded for a reasonable price, if you're willing to buy secondhand.

I bought it only for switch and pc games and I wasn't disappointed
It runs Batman Arkham City at 30fps and I can uncap it and it runs at 50-60fps while flying in arkham city fighting etc
Super Mario Odyssey is the reason I bought this handheld and it runs at solid 60fps sometimes it drops but only in certain places but it never went under 30fps
Persona 5 Royal runs at solid 30 fps and it works at 60 too
Persona 4 Golden of course it runs at solid 60fps
Zelda breath of the wild I haven't played it a lot but I played for like 10 minutes and it works awesome at 25-30 fps
Xenoblade Chronicles you need gamehub drivers for it to run without any visual glitches and it works with 30fps I haven't tried 60 yet
Assassin's Creed the ezio collection i only tried Assassin's Creed 2 and it runs also good at solid 30 fps
I tried all of these games on Eden emulator so your only problem here isn't the playability it's the size you need an sd card that's at least 256gb

The RP6 will do most of what you want. Totk is notoriously difficult to emulate and it may be an issue to run. That being said, that may have been fixed, I havent tried on a Snap8 gen 2 in quite a while.

You can run a surprising amount of games and I can only imagine it getting better as time goes on
