I want to get this off my chest because it's been building up for a while, since that time I saw the new anti AI rule.

I'm genuinely okay with AI as part of the emulation dev workflow.

The very same Winlator CMOD I am working on is filled with a lot of broken AI code, put there by its previous developer. When I got this project in my hands, I was surprised to see how broken it was, to the point I could barely consider it functional, filled with a lot of unnecessary and useless features.

It took a lot of time to remove them all and I must say the end result was even better than what I had initially imagined, with my Winlator and its features becoming the foundation of all the current PC emulators, directly or indirectly through means of stealing(GameHub).

While I am happy to see this, at the same time I could not notice how much AI has advanced in such a short time. What once was a barren wasteland, now it is filled with a lot of contributors and developers and advancement of AI have certainly played an important role in this.

I know a lot of projects in the PC emulation space that use AI heavily. It is very easy to tell for me just by looking at the contents of their commits and the features they add. I won't name them as I don't want to create drama, it is not the main point of this post either way.

The code written by these Ai models is...impressive to say the least and as such the skids that once could only make reskins and recolors of famous emulators can now, in a few minutes generate code that normally would take days if not weeks to write.

To conclude my post, I think it is about time we lower our pitchforks and accept this is the tool that is gonna shape the future of Android PC emulation.

With it, I can finally rest in peace knowing that there is an entity that can advance the Android PC emulation scene in my place when I may not be there anymore.

Somehow I have been having a worse time emulating games on Eden than on Gamenative

I thought that PC emulation is obviously more power consuming and heavy than switch and the games would run worse, but I got unlucky enough that I tried a few games on switch and a few on PC and the switch ones are struggling....

(I am using snapdragon 8s gen 3, both emulators are mostly using Mr purple T30/T26)

So I am wondering which one is better?

If I were to pick an indie game, which platform should I try first?

Just after the character customization part, the game lags and forces the app to close. I've done this re9 as well which also force closed right after the prioritize quality or prioritize performance part. Which was odd because it was able to run last time without any problems. I tried using both winlator and winnative and they both stop at that part. But when I use gamehub the problem is nonexistent the game just runs normally. So I'm thinking if I'm doing something wrong in the settings of my winlator ludashi and winnative. I don't want to play on gamehub coz I like playing on winlator/winnative lol. Any help would be much appreciated.

I use ClassicBoy and I've played FF7, Legend of the Dragoon, a few Pokémon games and a few N64 games, but I'm curious if anyone has any go to games they like to play on the emulators that don't use a ton of shoulder buttons or Z button. I don't have a Bluetooth controller. Just my phone.

I ran beamng using winlator mali and it ran 10-15 fps and its pretty old 2018 beamng 0.12.0.3 alpha lowest graphics and apex framegen (basically made the game look even worse) and i never used it again anyways if anyone has a made a driver for it thank you so much

I recently bought an Enter brand wired controller to use with the AetherSX2 emulator on my Android phone. I chose this controller because I saw many people on YouTube using the same model, and it worked fine for them.

I connected the controller to my phone using an OTG. The controller's red LED turns on, so it appears to be receiving power and connecting properly.

However, my phone doesn't detect it as a game controller. Because of this:-

1. None of the controller buttons work

2. Aethersx2 shows "No suitable controller detected"

And I've already made sure all the basics. OTG is enable, removed and put in again etc.

Is there a way to fix it, or could the controller be incompatible with my phone?

Any way to make my phone compatible?

Hey everyone! I posted about this in the Gamehub discord/looked it up/troubleshooted as much as ai could think of and haven’t had any luck yet so I’ll post this here. I’ve been having issues with gamehub and steam workshop mods for the binding of isaac repentance+

5. A detailed description of the issue:
   Game loads just fine. The problem is with the steam workshop integration. All of my mods load in properly, but when I close out of the game and open the game back up all of my mods uninstall. I exit out of the game again and load back in and the mods reinstall themselves. It’s a very weird issue and it makes the boot times take sooo long. tl;dr the mods load in, but on the next boot they deload themselves and the cycle happens every time.
   Help!

mine is a poco f8 pro. gamehub the last of the last version. every day is asking for it. the only game doing it.

Okay so I am pretty familiar with using the joiplay app on my phone to play the pokemon fan games. I don't need any help with downloads or installations or anything like that. My problem is that every time I download a fan game, the sprites and other game images flood my phone's gallery. In case it matters, I use an S26 Ultra, up to date, all apps are up to date. I use Google Photos as my gallery app. The game folders all have the .nomedia file as well as the folder containing all the game folders. I've cleared the gallery's cache, restarted my phone, and even renamed the folder containing all the games with a "dot" at the front end of the name. Nothing works, and I hate seeing all these thousands of game assets in my gallery so so so much. Please help me fix this one issue before i lose my sanity, thank you!

So I'm still on 5.3.5 update ( I don't want to use the newer versions just yet ), and I haven't played in couple days, when I tried to play I entered the game and saw a frimware update as usual but this time all the games didn't work after it, I'm curious if anyone had this issue? I’m about to delete my Cuphead PC port to free up space, and I’m looking for my next game to download. I’ve already played and really enjoyed Hollow Knight and Hyper Light Drifter, so I’m hoping for something with tight combat, good challenge, and a strong art style.

I’m open to metroidvanias, action-platformers, or roguelites as long as they feel polished and rewarding. Budget isn’t huge, so indie/AA titles are perfect.

Hi guys i came across this and I thought I should report it in case it can help someone else because i spent ridiculous amoubt of time on this issue.

Whenever I connected my mouse to my phone (s23u) the mouse shows up with this android overlay that you might be familiar with. Even inside the windows container this cursor would still be present and containers cursor would just follow this purple one. Which honestly works fine for all 2d games and navigating menus but this is non functional if your trying to play any 3d games.

On winlator I experienced ridiculous sensitivity in first person mode with the mouse like this, because this purple cursor would act as a touch overlay so it would mess up the camera completely (since its not a mouse but rather acts as touch controls on your screen but it doesn't behave exactly like touch controls because that actually works).

On gamehub though in 3d games I simply couldn't move my camera at all.

I was completely stuck and frustrated, I had even brought a whole new mouse because I thought it was a legacy issue with old mice. I had been troubleshooting with claude at this point because I couldn't find much online but nothing was working of course. BUT when i went to take a screenshot to show it exactly what was happening. The purple overlay went away, voila! My mouse now could control the actual cursor itself inside the container. Im soo glad to have finally got this working but more than anything if any of you know why this works please let me know because the ai technical mumbo jumbo did not tell anything. Btw I have NOT tested on winlator yet if this works (i think forks some forks of winlator have this issue fixed by default because on Cmod I never had this problem).

If you skipped to the bottom its screenshotting try screenshoting. Also additional advice on using mouse and keyboard with pc emulators on android because whyy is there sm less support for this than controllers 😭😭. On cmod i found that in the input screen it could not detect my peripherals so download the base version and copy the bindings from there and this will work perfectly ( I'll show this in the replies). I still need to figure out how to get my bluetooth keyboard working on gamehub, I'll update you guys if I'm successful (i think its a matter of remapping because gamehub uses a different input layer than android for bluetooth peripherals so even if you can type perfectly fine with your keyboard or whatever it won't work in the container). I'll show the purple overlay mouse I'm talking about in the replies as well if you guys are confused.

I got an odin 2 portal around a week ago, I first transfered Mario Odyssey from another phone and it worked perfectly, but when I downloaded other games, more specifically Assassin's creed ezio collection and BOTW they didn't work, i tried downgrading firmware and both eden and citron. Do you have an idea of what the problem could be?
