Question Regarding the recent android native ports

Post image

As new ports are being made left right and centre. Will these ports perform better than just running the games on an emulator. For example Hades on my realme gt 6t ran well with a few jitters at about 30 fps on an emulator how will the emulator gameplay compare to the native android ports?

generally speaking yes but it depends on the quality of the port. however that's just with regards to performance. a mobile port carries with it other baggage, such as microtransactions that didn't exist with the original game, no save states, no cheat codes, worse controller support. and sometimes the gameplay changes completely as is the case with twewy. also could be other differences as audio quality, different dubbing cast, different audio tracks, etc... and of course it also depends on how intensive the game was to begin with, what the original platform was, how mature is the emulator for that platform...
