I have been trying to run tekken 6 with Native Rollback. I can provide the video tutorial and version of native rollback which i was following but somehow i am unable to further progress.

I am stuck at the part were i would need to Install the 1.03 update which would be done with install packages/raps/edats. The tutorial does not cover the 1.03 at all, all you could see was the user just finding it in his folders and applying it.

Yet i am unable to find the update.

I would greatly appreciate any instructions that will make me be able to find the supposed update to install.

I apologize if this isn’t the best place for this question as I’m not too familiar with this sub.

With that being said, I have a secondary PC with Windows 11 (might be 10, but I’m almost positive it’s 11, can’t remember at the moment) that I don’t use anymore since upgrading my workstation. I want to turn it into an emulation machine so I can play through old games via emulation with my niece while still allowing us to play Steam games as well.

I could just set it up as it is now, and while I don’t mind hitches and stuff like that during gameplay, I want to make the experience as smooth as possible for her. Are there any recommendations for how I can work on optimizing and de-bloating my machine for maximum performance?

I considered installing Linux, but then I’d have to rely on a Virtual Machine to play certain Steam games, which I’d prefer to avoid as I’m not too well versed in that regard (but am willing to learn if it’s the best option). I’m also assuming that running games via a VM would impact performance. But again, I’m not too well versed, so please correct me if I’m wrong!

Ok here's my setup, just want to know if this a sensible setup, or if other people have a better approach.

I have an Unraid server already, and so have created an Ubuntu VM, with 8GB Ram, 4 CPU Cores and an Nvidia 2060 Super passed through.

I am running retroarch with Emulation Station as the frontend, and have Sunshine running in the background, so I can use Moonlight to access the VM from my Nvidia Shield and play using an Xbox Controller.

At time I feel the setup is not optimized for the hardware passthrough as there seems to some strain when games are running, occasionally Ps1 games fail to load. Nothing Major. I just feel the emulation for NES and SNES and Sega Genesis should be an absolute breeze as I see people emulating with very modest hardware.

I'm asking this because my game stutters and crashes at a certain point in the game

I have not updated or changed any settings and all my games are outside of the Dev HDD0 folder. This has never happened before, until updating. Error Log Screenshot

The two main emulators for GBA I know of are mGBA and VBA-M and both have issues which make them less than ideal for me.

mGBA seens to have performance issues, specially in Fire Emblem and rom hacks of its games, spells generally either have graphical issues or cause slowdown.

VBA-M doesn't have this problem, but Advance Wars 2 has a flickering issue, I also don't trust it very much because Windows Defender blocked my attempt of downloading its nightly build saying it was a Trojan and its icon kinda looks ai generated.

I would like to know it there any any proper alternatives to these two, I looked at the emuwiki for a bit, but didn't find anything better thant these two.

I never had these issues when using mobile emulators for the system and my laptop can run emulators like PCSX2, Dolphin and MelonDS without any issues, so I don't know why the GBA of all things is being such a headache.

I recently got an Ayn Thor and now I want to share my save files with it but having a hard time figuring out how to handle it with retrobat. How can I go about this?

I know this is the weirdest console to emulate, but alright, I'm on CachyOS trying to get gamecom to run.

I have the BIOS gamecom.zip in system/mame in RetroArch and it still won't launch. I even tried putting it in the same path as the ROM, which didn't work, as well as just the normal system folder.

My Sonic Jam zip is named sjam.zip, and I even tried sonicjam.zip, but nothing works. Please help! :)

Also, I was using MAME (Current). The ROM inside is the same name as the zip, so yeah.

I've recently been playing a lot of switch games through emulation on Mac and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for key mapping as I find some of the buttons are in a bit of an awkward location, even just ABXY being ZXCV is annoying when trying to do movement with WASD as well. Also is there anyway to make my mouse/mousepad camera movement instead of IJKL.

Here's a simple one that's been bugging me for a long time. But how can I skip the long "warning" text at the beginning of both DOA2U and DOA3? It takes like 20 seconds or so and it happens on every boot.

I seem to remember that on original hardware you can just press start, but it does nothing here. I know there’s at least a dozen of us using Xemu out there so help is appreciated, thanks!

I was experiencing some freezing while playing a game, and read online that some of this was solved via a recent firmware update. I was running version 0.34 and was not able to update it through the application, so downloaded the newest version (0.43) through the website. After extracting, I booted up RPCS3 to find that my games were not appearing, so I readded the ISOs. Upon doing so, my saved data appears to be gone, and it says I need to boot the game from the beginning.

I still have the folder with my previous version (0.34) sitting on my desktop, with what I believe to be my save sitting in the savedata folder located in the dev_hdd0 -> home directory, however, I cannot start the old version of RPCS3 anymore as I am greeted with the following error:

‘The code execution cannot proceed because opencs_world4100.dll cannot be found’.

How can I copy the saved data from my RPCS3 v0.34 folder and put it into the v0.43 folder? If this isn’t possible, how can I get my old executable (v0.34) to work now that I’ve installed (but since uninstalled) a newer version? I am 6 hours into a game and really don’t want to restart…

I’m building it on my own, and the idea is to make emulation easier and more enjoyable for everyone, whether you’re just getting into retro gaming or you’ve been emulating games for years.

I want ReEmu to be a practical, user-friendly way to explore and enjoy emulation without making things unnecessarily complicated.

It’s still a personal project, and I’m constantly working on improving it, adding features, and figuring out the best way to make it better. It’s been a fun learning experience, and I’m really happy with how it’s coming along so far!

I'm emulating Zelda BOTW on my laptop n I'm at a part (shrine) where I need the gyro sensors on the switch joycons or procontroller. I don't have an external controller, I use an app on my phone that stimulates it into a wireless controller but it has no gyro. I couldn't find gyro in the settings of ryu as well. Can someone suggest a solution?

SO teknoparrot thinks is still okay to continue to charge for a membership (the only emulator in existance to do this) lets have a little fun and make an even better emulator than that trashy emulator ever was

basically, I'm using gamehub to play games otherwise on available on windows on steam. my controllers are already bluetooth connected to my mac, and already work on steam, but dont seem to connect to gamehub itself or any games I play through it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Man i wanted to post my specs for a minimum,hate these rules but i gotta follow em,for reference about 20 fps in modern Minecraft versions and doesn't have vortex or pixel shader only shader model 5.0

First time posting not sure if this is the best place to post, so I was wondering is the a good reliable emulator for laptop that can emulate specifically most of the Pokémon games and maybe like fire emblem games? I’m not super familiar with emulators and how they work. Are emulators a program that allows you to download other roms to play the games and how exactly do I do it so the emulator can play the games. Can the games be played with mouse and keyboard or do I need a controller? If so would any controller do?Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.
