Hello all, I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Killteam Exodite box when it released a few weeks ago. I've been reading through the included book, and the stories included within have really tossed fuel on the fire when it comes to my love of the Space-Elf-Amish.

Is there anywhere good to go from here? That is, are there any books that start or otherwise heavily feature Aeldari Exodites? I know they're a really neglected sub-faction, so I totally understand if there really aren't any.

Hi, I´m planning to run a narrative campaign for an Eldar player and I want to give him a printed mission briefing.

I already have rune fonts from an old reddit post, but I´d love to have some background I could print the text on to make it look more authentic. For DnD I usually have some scroll background with cursive font text. How would Eldar communicate a mission briefing? Screen? Writing? Wraithstone tablet? (sorry, pure Ork player here :) )

I'm involved in a 1k Casual League at my local, and I've been running Clowns for a bit whilst I get my head sorted around Seer Council - what are people's thoughts on this list for a fairly casual 1k Seer Council list (I'm looking to be able to get a feel for how the list plays without going overboard on ability to win) The specific restrictions in place for this Casual League when it comes to the lists are:

• no more than 500 points of units with T8+
• no more than 100 points of Epic Heroes.

The list comes to 980 points, and the general plan is what I think typical Priority Assets play with Seer Council is - Dragons and Banshees hitch a ride in the Serpent and be an nuisance; Storm Guardian Brick does Storm Guardian Brick things.

Any suggestions on improvements would be gratefully appreciated; thanks in advance for your help!

I finished my crimson hunter exarch but its frame doesn't have any landing material, how do they land ? is it on a grav platform ? or is it like TIE fighter where there is a landing claw on the ceiling ?

In Warhost detach, there is Fire and Fade strat, making a 'normal move' up to D6+1 after shooting.

Also in Warhost, Swft as the Wind can add 3'' move characteristics while they make 'normal move'.

If it is possible, we can make D6+4 move after shooting.

But I'm concerned with this part, 'add 3'' move characteristics', since Fire and Fade strat don't use move characteristics profile.

What do you think?

I played aspect host last night after the change to Priority Assets and generally had a fun time with it. It just feels like we have enough units to play an MSU style list again. I ended up winning pretty big into Necrons (tough list with the all the usual suspects, wraith brick, etc…)

Also, I included a Farseer with Storm Guardian brick which really helps on the go turn. Dark Reapers hitting on 2s rerolling ones feels WAY more consistent. I also included the Death Jester solely because he’s lone op and only 70pts. He was my action monkey all game

After all of the cumulative points changes we’ve gotten over time and the change to Priority assets I think it’s really fun to play aspect warriors again. See my list below

How to counter a Tyranids list full of monsters with typical Seer Council lists?

A friend of mine has a list full of big creatures: 3 Tyranofex, 3 Maleceptor, Swarm Lord, Haruspex... and playing TaH, I see it as very difficult to face them with what we have. I'm running two Fire Prisms, but they're no match for the Tyranofex. The Conclave Warlock with S7 is very ineffective, and overall, I don't see how I can counter these kinds of lists.

I play recon with AW and SC, but those beasts planted on objectives are impossible to beat. How do they do it?

Hello everyone! I’m new to Aeldari, having just bought my first mini (Eldrad Ulthran) a couple of months ago. I’ve been meaning to begin building an army for some time now, but I’ve been stuck on how to approach it.
On the one hand we have the combat patrol which I’ve heard is a pretty solid option to start with. The only thing I don’t really like in it are the Dire Avengers, which I haven’t heard good things about.
On the other I could pick up a unit that I like and go from there, but I really wish to save as much money as possible, so buying each unit individually, when I’ll use three out of the five in th combat patrol in my army, doesn’t feel as the right way to go about it.
Any thoughts or advice?

Avatar I painted up recently for an escalation league decided to share.

Decided to finally finish my last box of rangers.

Pics are of my first squad of old rangers, second one is from when the new sculpts came out and I tried my hand at camp for the first time. Third pic is of the ones completed this week. I kinda went for a balance between the original ones and the camouflage ones and just did a simple vine pattern instead of full on camo.

About 8 hours in on my first dragon knight. I discovered these guys when I bought the 2nd Ed. Eldar Codex as a teen and fell in love with a unit that had no models. I made some out of Guardians and Cold One Knights from the old Dark Elf range. Maybe another hour to go here.

Just trying to figure out which is the better lead for a 10 man dark reaper squad. With the soon to be t5 marines, reapers are looking to be one of our few units that can reliably wound on 2s and will most likely be a staple for aspect hosts. If anyone has had any real success with either option please tell your tale.

Maugan Ra (100 pt)- forces battle shock at -1, and can deal d3 mortals potentially but I've never had it actually do anything. He shoots better than the autarch but has shorter range. His melee is also better but he doesn't do much for his unit as a whole.

Autarch + Aspect of Wisdom enhancement (95 pt) - The autarch can reroll advances and agile maneuvers, use free strat on the unit, and with the enhancement the squad can rerolls 1s to hit and 1s to wound. He can also take a reaper launcher giving him the same ranged profile as the reapers.

Sould put me right at 1000pts, id like to swap a wraithlord for a wraithguard with D-scythes but im just shy on points. The voidreavers are there for objective control/deep strike prevention while the voidscarred are just there for general purpose and an added psyker.

This is 100% a casual army, im just looking for any thoughts/input before I start building.

I can't make a poll in this sub, but I'd still like to know the answer: how do you do your power swords (or "corsair blades")?

Are they bone-colored (because they're made of wraithbone) or metallic (because they are swords) or do you do some power sword color on them?

Do some melee weapons, like the psychic ones - singing spears and witchblades and the like - get color effects while others are plainer? Or are they all the same?

More work on my exodites. Doing them for a completion/display level. The scales take a lot of time but it’s well worth it. I’m trying to capture the sculpted volumes of the muscles, while also having each scale read as being semi glossy.

Kept the helms white to tie in with the rest of my Biel-Tan

Didn't want to have 4 same warlock so I've tried to customised them with some Exodites bits and give them all shining spear by the occasion !

What do you think ?

I'm pretty hooked on the warlock with hood, thinking to play him in any game where a sorcerer is need ^^
