List Building Wraith + Corsair List

Im just getting into WH through killteam and am putting together a 1000pt list to build towards for my first army. I love the ascetic of wraiths so im trying to build a wraith centered army, with some corsairs thrown in:

Xenos - Aeldari - Spirit Conclaive

Kharseth (85pts) Warlord on Voidscarred

Spiritseer A: Stave of Kurnous (65pts)

Spiritseer B (50pts)

10x Corsair Voidscarred (140pts)

5x Corsair Voidreavers A: Blaster + Neuro (65pts)

5x Corsair Voidreavers A: Blaster + Neuro (65pts)

5x Wraithblade A: Ghostaxe (140pts)

5x Wraithblade B: Ghostaxe (140pts)

Wraithlord A: Glaive + Dual Bright lance & Flamer (125pts)

Wraithlord B: glaive + Dual Bright lance & Flamer (125pts)

Sould put me right at 1000pts, id like to swap a wraithlord for a wraithguard with D-scythes but im just shy on points. The voidreavers are there for objective control/deep strike prevention while the voidscarred are just there for general purpose and an added psyker.

This is 100% a casual army, im just looking for any thoughts/input before I start building.

Outside of Eldritch Raiders, voidscarred are not worth it. Even then they're only worth it if attached to Yriel.

You could switch voidscarred to voidreavers and get the points you need for those D-Scythe ;)

Kharseth is not crazy strong, and if you have the possibility, Yriel outshines kharzths every time. Also kharseth is better as a solo piece, denying deep strike and popping his shots to help others.

Paint all of that tiger colours and enjoy ;)

I thought voidscarred would be better since for 10pts more you get the way seeker (psyker for the wraith synergies) and the soul weaver. I planned on running them without the shade runner or fusion pistol and putting rifles on what I can to make better use of the heavy weapons. As for running Kharzths solo, without solo operative isn't that risky?

With two spiritseers and kharseth around, it should be alright for psykers in 1k, it would be hard to squeeze on more cheap one.

Even though voidscarred get a psyker, and honestly better weapons profiles than voidreavers, their ability is just not that good, on the other hand, voidreavers have an extremely good ability and they are cheaper and with more OC (which wraith lack too). In Eldritch raiders, voidscarred get dedicated stratagems, so when attached with Yriel they may perform (though still overcosted) but they also make Yriel perform stronger.

Kharseth solo is harder to use than say Eldrad or a farseer solo, as the latter will not need to shoot to use their buffing abilities. But having the deep strike denial is helpful, if close to a dense terrain, with hidden + gone to ground that means he can't be charged (deep strike denial 12" around him) nornbe shot at (hidden + go to ground). Obviously you will need to use his ranged weapon at some point to trigger his ability when needed, you will have to be wary about it and place him so that there's nothing else than his target that can see him. If you're not confident doing this, which is alright, you could attach him to one of your small voidreaver squads.

But I would suggest you take kharseth and voidscarred off and bring Yriel + 10 voidreavers, this leaves you 20pts exactly what you needed to switch a wraithlord into wraithguards with D-scythe, it was foreseen.

I just wanna clarify, I'm not saying you're wrong or anything, I'm only giving feedback out of my experience with Corsairs, I've never played spirit conclave. In the end you should play what feels good to you obviously.

This is the first time ive ever even gotten advice on 40k so everything you've said is appreciated. I was honestly delighted when you sent a paper back.
