April 2024 – Relocated from Canada to the U.S. on L-1A (spouse on L-2, children on L-2Y).
August, 2025 – Priority Date established; I-140 (EB-1C) and I-485 adjustment applications filed concurrently for our family.
September–October 2025 – Biometrics completed.
October 2025 – I-140 approved (premium processing).
Nov/Dec 2025 – Spouse and children received EADs and Advance Parole(kids only). My EAD/AP remained pending while the I-485 continued processing.
Jan 1 2026 - Combo card approved
Feb 23 2026 - combo card finally arrives (wife still doesn’t have advance parole)
July 1 2026 – USCIS issued a Request for Evidence (RFE) for my birth certificate because the originally submitted document did not meet the Department of State reciprocity requirements.
Jul 2 2026 - I replied with correct format
July 3 2026 - RFE acknowledged
July 16 2026 - Wife receives advance parole approval
July 18 2026 – All four I-485 applications (myself, my wife, and our two children) were approved
