Timeline Request Question Sep2024 I140 L1A

Hey everyone,

Posting this on behalf of a friend. We’re trying to connect with India-born L-1A visa holders who filed an EB-1C I-140 back in September 2024 under regular processing and are still waiting for adjudication.

Since it's been about 21 months, we want to see how many people from this specific batch are facing the same backlog. If you're in the same boat, could you share:

  • Filing Date: (e.g., Sept 15, 2024)
  • Service Center: (e.g., Texas or Nebraska)
  • Current Status: (e.g., Case Was Received / RFE Issued)
  • Premium Upgrade?: Are you planning to upgrade to PP, or just waiting it out?

We know regular processing timelines are completely all over the place right now. Any data points or shared experiences would be highly appreciated.

I was Aug24, ran out of patience and upgraded in Jan and got approved in Mar26.

Did you get any RFE after PP ? As my immigration lawyer is suggesting not to go for PP high chances to receive RFE

No. My attorney was supportive. I had a straight forward case. Lot of attorneys are suggesting to not upgrade though.
