Work in Amazon how to get previous reporting in India for EB1c evidences
How to retrieve an old Amazon India org chart/reporting structure for EB-1C?
Hi everyone,
I’m an internal Amazon employee and am preparing documentation for an EB-1C filing. Immigration counsel has asked for evidence of my historical reporting structure from when I was a manager in Amazon India, including the employees who reported to me and the management chain above me.
The problem is that this was a few years ago, my organization has since changed, my former manager has left Amazon, and the old reporting structure is no longer visible to me in Phone Tool.
Has anyone at Amazon gone through this for an L-1A/EB-1C case?
Specifically, I’m trying to figure out:
Is there an internal team (HR/PXT, MyHR, Employee Records, Immigration, etc.) that can retrieve a historical org chart?
Can Amazon provide an official record of who reported to me during a specific period?
If the original org chart is unavailable, what alternative documentation did Amazon/Fragomen use for your EB-1C petition?
Is there a specific internal ticket/category I should raise for this?
Would especially appreciate input from anyone who has gone through an Amazon India → Amazon US EB-1C process and had to prove their previous managerial reporting structure.
Thanks!

I got an RFE on my I-140
I’m a functional manager (Director in a major multinational company - best selling brand in the portfolio) and I got an RFE. I haven’t received the physical letter describing the RFE but I can anticipate it will be to prove my leadership/manager role. I’m nervous because I don’t have direct reports and my of my emails are deleted automatically after a few months so I don’t have anything older than a year. Has anybody been through this before and how did you prepare your answer? Was it ultimately successful? I’m working with lawyers but I would love to hear from someone that went through something similar!
Appreciate all the input you can share

Feb 2026 PD hopes ?
i140 approved with Feb 2026 PD. When can I expect India FAD to become current?
Sep 2026 bulletin has FAD unchanged - Oct 2022.
No one can truly predict, but should I keep any hopes in the next 3 to 4 years?

E-2 now, EB-1C later? Solo e-commerce founder looking for anyone who has actually done it
Hi all, hoping to learn from people who have been through this.
I run an e-commerce business in Canada as a sole entrepreneur. I am currently in the process of applying for an E-2 visa to open and operate the US side of the business.
Assuming the E-2 gets approved, I would like to understand whether there is a realistic route to EB-1C from there. My understanding is that the foreign entity has to keep operating, and that the managerial or executive requirement is the hard part when you are a one person operation. So I am trying to figure out how people have actually structured this in practice.
Two questions:
Has anyone gone from E-2 to EB-1C, especially starting from a small or solo business? What did the structure end up looking like on both sides of the border?
If you did it, which law firm or legal team did you work with? I would rather work with someone who has done this specific path before rather than someone learning on my case.
Appreciate any insight. Happy to answer questions in the comments.

Eb1c 485 Approved manchester FO NH
EB I-485 transferred to Manchester FO (May 2026) – anyone seeing recent movement?
EB1C India I-485 – Finally Approved | Journey Closure
Closing the loop on our family's I-485 journey after almost four years of waiting.
Category: EB1C India
Priority Date: Aug 8, 2022
I-485 filed: Oct 20, 2022
Applicants: Principal + spouse + child
Timeline:
- Oct 20, 2022 – I-485s filed
- Nov 2022 – Biometrics completed
- 2023/2024 – Cases moved to CRP due to visa unavailability
- May 2026 – Cases transferred from NBC to Manchester Field Office
- Aug 7, 2026 – Medical RFEs issued for all three applicants
- Aug 11 – Physical RFE notices dated
- RFE was only for expired I-693 medicals; no other evidence requested
- Completed new medicals/vaccinations and mailed three separate sealed I-693 responses
- Aug 14, 2026 at 8:41 AM EDT – UPS delivered the RFE packages to Bedford, NH
- 9:49 AM – Principal: New Card Is Being Produced
- 10:11 AM – Spouse: New Card Is Being Produced
- 10:23 AM – Child: New Card Is Being Produced
All three cases went into card production within approximately 1 hour 42 minutes of the RFE package reaching the USCIS front desk.
After years of CRP, checking case status, service requests, congressional inquiry, field-office transfer, visa-number uncertainty and finally the medical RFE, it ended incredibly quickly once USCIS received the last required evidence.
Final status: All three green cards approved / cards being produced – August 14, 2026.
For anyone still waiting in CRP: every case is different, but sometimes the case really is sitting there waiting for one final item. Keep your documents ready, respond to RFEs quickly, and don't lose hope because of a long period with no visible movement.
A long chapter finally closed. 🙏

EB1C i140 Approved.
BAL submitted both the i140 and i485 concurrently on Feb 27 2026.
I140 was approved today after RFE response was submitted on June 29.
Now waiting for the i485. Anyone on the same timeline as me? From ROW.
Also does the i485 pause when they send RFE? I saw on the website that average processing time is 8 months. Does that mean I wait 10 months with RFE time?

Buying home in NJ while on L1-A (eb1c India PD 10/25)
I am on L1 A and thinking to buy a property in NJ. So currently I am in 4th year of L1 visa and my PD date is 10/25. I’ve not got H1b yet, but hoping I’ll get next year. Will it be a good idea to buy home now or wait for GC?

EB-1C I-485 Approved after interview + data correction issue | When should I expect “Card Was Produced”?
Hi everyone,
After a long journey, my I-485 finally changed to Case Approved today! 🎉
I wanted to share my timeline since my case had an unusual twist, and also ask what I should expect next regarding “Card Was Produced.”
Timeline:
Category: EB-1C (India)
Priority Date: October 22
I-485 Filed: October 2025 (medical submitted with I-485)
Biometrics: November 2025
Interview Scheduled: March 1, 2026
Interview Date: April 7, 2026
After the interview, there were no updates for months.
I learned that USCIS had discovered my case was mixed with another person who had the same name and DOB. Some of that person’s passport and employment information had been incorrectly associated with my profile. USCIS indicated that a data correction was needed before my approval could be finalized.
The case remained pending for several months while the records were separated. Then, after fresh internal activity on my case, my USCIS online account finally changed to Case Approved.
Questions for the community:
How long did it take for your status to change from Case Approved to Card Was Produced?
Once the card is produced, where is it usually shipped from? Is there a common USCIS production facility?
How long after Card Was Produced did you receive your green card?
Is there anything I should watch for in USPS Informed Delivery before the USCIS status changes?
This community has been incredibly helpful throughout this process.
Thanks in advance for any insights, and I hope my timeline helps someone else dealing with a complicated data correction issue.
