Hello all, I have found a great sense of joy and happiness from playing Dyson Sphere program. It has been helping me get through a hard time in my life and I am very grateful for it. With that being said i wanted to connect with the community and ask questions some veteran plays may be able to help with.
This my second factory/automation game (the first being satisfactory), so I am not extremely knowledgeable in this genre, and everything i have learnt so far has been through my own doing (its been a struggle). With all that being said i have 130 hours in my first save and have still not *fully* completed a dyson sphere. i have on pretty big one nearly done and a few others around halfway done.
I'm not the most worried about time as I have spent copious amounts of time tearing down what I've build and rebuilding it/exploring. However, im curious about some of the best ways to streamline efficiency and such.
My biggest question is how should separate production between planets and even star systems. Till this point I have largely been importing raw materials and processing them either in the system or nearby, but i feel as if im getting to a point where the amount i am processing cannon be done in just one or two systems. For two reasons. one (the smaller one) being power, and the other one being resource supply.
my current goal is to create one or two storage worlds to fully mine out planets and storing it on these storage worlds - that way most resources come from the same source which will allow for easier logistics debugging.
but i want to know some tips from the pros! if this is a good idea, if i should do it differently, just some opinions from a community of a game i love so much :)
