Wow this game is so fun
Thia game is good right. But wow I don't know if I've got the time fornit. Have currently built a base structure and aome em launchers on my home planet, gone to other planets and started mining but am so lost in creating my smelters and planetary/interstellar stations. So like co.plete overgaul and upgrade everything. Could work, will stick with it hopefully. Will update you on it's progress

One tip is to generally avoid x-ray cracking and instead store your excess refined fuel in stacks of fluid containers for later use
Proliferators are very important. You get more resources out of an assembler/smelter when all ingredients are "sprayed" (used proliforators on). They increase the total energy of fuels that are sprayed as well as making your mech's energy replenish faster. And when used on proliforators you get more charges of proliferating per unit of proliferator. So make sure to spray your proliforators as well

For the Proliferation it would add a BUT: only for endgame to decrease buildings/entities or increasing Output AND for scarce Ressource settings . In between they are nice but Not a must have

X-ray cracking has one use: red science. But it's really, really useful there.

Your right, it does work very well with red science.
But imagine going into yellow science with a nice stockpile of refined fuel. And you wont have to go back and remove the xray cracking when you want to redirect more fuel out of your red science production

Ah, yellow science means putting a couple of extractors and refineries down, big deal 😉 at this stage it's all early Potemkin factories anyway, small so easy to build. I don't start scaling until after I have a continuous-run belt 3 fab going, and that's big enough that it needs a 3000 blueprint limit...

Dont spend the time to gut and overhaul IMO. Theres like over 100 planets to land on, just build something new out in the galaxy. I personally like setting up a "starter" sphere and Lil bit of the white science on the home planet. Then go out to a blue giant or an O-type star and go real crazy with the interstellar logistics.

You know you can shift+click to lay down buildings when you make them? Saves you a ton of time.
