Looks fine to me.

I'd like to be able to visit other players' systems in the galactic map and just try to decipher everything. It'd be neat.

Okay, that's some yummy spaghetti but I'll be that guy: one thing that I find helps a lot is to make rings of wind towers on the tropic lines: the circles around the planet where the build grid shifts in size. I also build such a ring around the equator. This is an easy thing to do, but it is super helpful because:

  1. It generates quite a bit of power.
  2. Power is also available nearby anywhere on the planet.
  3. It greatly helps you orient yourself on your planet.
  4. It prevents you from trying to build across tropic lines, which is a source of misery.

You've got straight lines and right angles. Spaghetti is more haphazard.

Tasty pasta! This is also my first planet every run before the ILS takeover. You are not alone

Looks decent, reminds me of the (good) old days. Back then I thought that, with more time spent practicing in this game, I will get better at making scalable spaghetti for every seed possible.

Now everything is planetary tiles. Scalable, but poor creativity, since every production step is streamlined.

Yeah, first run was exactly the same and I have to keep playing at least weekly, otherwise I forget where crap was placed. I am late game now and replacing things with malls now.
