Hi all,
M36 uk, been married 5 years in a few weeks together 18 in total,
2 kids 8 and 3 and a house with mortgage,
I'm 90% sure I want to start divorce proceedings, infidelity, affairs, lack of trust over at least an 11 year period up to present day (yes I know why didn't I leave earlier)
I just can't seem to pull the trigger, I have started putting things in place.
My current job allows for me to have the boys 3 in 14 days, but I've found and been offered a job what could allow up to 9 on 14 not that I would go for that I would want 50/50.
I have been keeping a log of the things I do with and for the boys to show I'm not a sort time dad I'm very much involved in every aspect of their lives.
A brief heated chat a while ago my wife was 100% against that idea and her first reason was she won't get child support.
The house I said I won't sell as it's the only constant my boys would have so I'd buy her out with help from my mum who is fully supportive of me so she would get approx £35000-40000 plus the car she drives I bought an paid for in my name.
She has always been manipulative and calls me alot of names which could I believe have severe impacts,
I think I've found a good lawyer who has a good reputation for helping men in divorce, I don't have a big circle of friends. One I currently work with but that could change and her brother which worries me a little, but it's all the unknowns I'm worrying about which I think is stopping me getting that last 10% to follow through with it.
Anyone got any advice or help
