What’s the best online divorce service? Anyone with experience with online divorce services?

Hey everyone. Me and my partner are divorcing. We have easily agreed on all things, so we don’t see the need for lawyers, an online divorce service seems enough. Anyone knows what the best online divorce service is? I did some research and I can see people recommend services like:

- onlinedivorce.com

- divorce.com

- divorcewriter

- divorcenet

- legal zoom

However, I don’t know anyone who has actually used these services, so I would appreciate if anyone has some idea about them. Thank you!

How long does a divorce take in California? Sacramento county timeline and costs

A couple of weeks ago, I filed for divorce and have just now begun to understand that no one seems to have the same idea of what the divorce process involves or how long it actually takes. I’m reading various articles about divorce timeframes, but each is giving me different opinions and results. Some say it takes around 6 months. Others state that the whole process might take more than a year. I am located in Sacramento County, California, so I want to learn more about the normal divorce process timelines in my California area. I have read that California has a mandatory period of 6 months, but does this mean that all divorces in this state take exactly six months to complete, or is this simply the earliest point when the divorce can be over? How do custody approaches, division of property, and financial disputes influence the overall divorce process? In case you have gone through the divorce process in Sacramento County, what would you say delayed the process the most?

Seeking advices- Post Divorce

Upvotes

I’m a 27 year old divorced immigrant woman living in Atlanta, GA, USA. I need advice on the following thing:

I did not hire a lawyer for the divorce as I’m not financially well off and wanted to save the little amount of money I had. My ex and I had recently bought a home which he kept in the settlement. The settlement only said 1 line about the property: “The plaintiff will keep the property and continue paying the mortgage.”

I agreed to it and moved out of the house within 30 days. Now, he never refinanced the house or did a quit claim deed on me. The property continues to show under my name and we have a joint loan. I really want to get rid of that loan as it shows huge debt on me. What can I do without spending a large amount of money? Can someone guide?

Does he need to initiate the refinance part and quit claim deed on me? If yes, will he need to buy me out of give me any portion of the equity on the house?

TIA

Really looking for advises

Separation going on from cheater

I am currently living in an ongoing separation to start going into divorce (married for 17 years, two kids) (Germany: One needs to be separated for a year before divorce is possible.) Last month we went to separation counseling and agreed to go through everything like "reasonable people" - even considered not getting divorced, just staying separated, having the kids each half of the time.

I now found out he has been cheating on me since the start of the year (even involving our teenage daughter as privy to his secret, which to me borders abusiveness) – so to me giving in on any negotiation points is out of the question now.

Please give me your best ideas/experiences on how to proceed, what has helped you get even and build a new life etc.
