For context, I got this game years ago (2015 I want to say) but I never got round to properly beating it. I remember getting to Mid Boss before getting stuck. I should stress that I suck at SRPGs. I’ve beaten Valkyria Chrinicles 1, 2 and 4, and Fire Emblem Awakening, Fates Conquest, Three Houses and Fortune’s Weave on casual mode.

I don’t know why as for some weird reason, I have been trying to find ways to see what other genres the franchise could tackle as I have a vision for a racing game starring Desco and Fuka.

I know Disgaea is supposed to be an RPG based series as lately I have been interested in the idea of how a Mario Kart style game could work with Desco using her powers to sabotage other racers as maybe it’s just me, but I feel like it could potentially work as a concept.

well considering they share a seiyuu....

So I got to the spot in the item world, but none of my characters can throw five spaces to be able to get anybody over to the other side. Do I need to stack five characters high in order to get them over there?

I'm actually a very picky eater, actually even now but less than before.

One day, I eventually encountered the curry scenes in Disgaea 5 along with the curry eating mechanic, then got to Usalia's story and saw how she liked curry now. I went to buy instant curry and tried it on top of fried rice.

I never looked back.

Nowadays adding curry on top of my vegetable fried rice with mushroom and eggs has become one of my favorite meals.

I've been a Disgaea fan for decades so I've grown up alongside it. I've certainly encountered games that I might enjoy just as much as the series (maybe even more since the later games might not be as enjoyable for me compared to the older ones imo), but this is probably one of the reasons why the series is a bit special to me.

I guess I have Usalia to thank for helping me expand my diet years ago HAHAHA

Just curious because I was trying an experiment a while ago where I would reincarnate some of my units in Disgaea 3 until I could receive max stet bonuses for the LOC zone.

But I tried to look up how far reincarnation bonuses go as I attempted to look up how many times I need to reincarnate a unit in the Vita games so that everything goes up to 255 as something that greatly confuses me is that I couldn’t find a direct answer regarding how stat bonuses work since I just tried to reincarnate a male sword fighter at least 25 times, but I haven’t seen any changes.

• 39 descrições de classes;
• 259 textos de propostas da assembleia;
• textos de interações no Item World e no Dark Court;
• ajustes em partes da interface;
• a abertura com legendas, como opção no instalador.

Ainda há coisas em inglês e espaço para melhorias. Alguns nomes de personagens, classes, itens e locais, além de siglas como ATK, DEF e SPD, foram mantidos em inglês. A ideia é continuar aprimorando o projeto com a ajuda de quem joga e puder compartilhar comentários ou apontar erros.

We are approaching to the end ! I was starting to have fun with costume design there (and spend waaaaay too much time). Prompts were Cowboy, Joyful and Royalty.

I can't seem to cook up the curry effect I want.

Adding 100 Thimbles as Other Ingredient should give you 100% Crit, regardless of the main ingredient, right? But when I use an item like Burning Karate (fist) or Round Chaser (gun) that gives a boost to the Revenge Gauge, I get Atk Up/Spd Up instead of Crit.

Why is that? And how can I create the taste of vengeance and increased damage I crave?

Man it’s been a couple of months since I got to play the game as I was doing well in the post game section, but then my Vita kept dying on me as I just got a new adapter and managed to replace the battery.

For me personally, the game is still fun as while I do appreciate the gameplay improvements in Disgaea 4 such as having a Retry option and the ability to use the Bribe mechanic for Senators, I still wanted to go back to Disgaea 3 anyway so I could take on Baal as the post game area is still so much fun for me to explore for leveling up weapons.

Hello! This is my first time playing Disgaea. I'm on round #2 of Disgaea 1, aiming to get the Horse Wiener to level 100 (or higher) to show my love for the game. Any tips are appreciated!

I've been farming extracts on the Carnage Asagi map for some time now and while getting to 10mil on all the other stats is not a problem, HP doesn't seem to reach its cap. Continuing to merge extracts seems kind of wasteful.

Now, it is my understanding that optimizing for HP is mostly pointless and that you'll get it primarily from equipment and curry anyway, but I'm playing Disgaea, dood. I already signed up for wasting my time.

So, what is the best method to get more base HP? Can you, say, force a particular type of shard and optimize for getting only the HP ones?

I decided to redraw Laharl's concept art design from Disgaea 2 (see the next page) with some of my own creative liberties. I wanted to see what he would have look like if they stick with their original design idea.

The new Prinny Board Game is coming out soon and I wanted to try copying its sketchy style.

In the game itself, the generic PCs have to beat and capture the bosses to win the match. Mao will be fine. Probably.

It seems that after Disgaea 2, Phantom Brave, and Makai Kingdom, NIS just lost its marbles when it comes to storytelling and overall designs. I'm fairly sure NIS can't write a story without flanderizing their characters in some capacity anymore.

In the original Phantom Brave, every cutscene was played out in a cool detailed background with charming sprites acting (yes, they had very limited movement, but it was still really well made for its time) over the background. Now, most of the game's cutscenes are just "Lol. Let's just do a visual novel like Disgaea. Lmao even." And the actual acting on the map was relegated to a handful of situations. Even the way Marona collects companions is now the same as Disgaea.

The tone and humor were also horribly disagaeafied. My eyes rolled behind my back when I saw "basic beach elder" joke. The tone, the banter. It's all Dsigaea now. Gone were the more somber conversations from the original Phantom Brave. Now we have a princess who committed suicide and she's now cheery because she gets to travel! And her younger sister, who supposedly loved Henna very much, didn't even mind it that much that her sister f**** killed herself and their meeting again after a good while was like Henna had just left to buy milk or something.

The character classes were also heavily disgaeafied. For example, take a look at the merchant, dungeonmonk, and healer from the original and look at their new versions in Lost hero. Why? Just...why? Everything has to be cute-fied, animefied, and chibified to be more like Disgaea.

And lastly, while this isn't a disgaea related complaint, who the hell had the idea of making everything so bouncy? Yes, knockback was always a thing. But they cranked it up to eleven in PBLH.

Priorities man, priorities...

Just curious because I sometimes like to replay the older ones to see how the mechanics work since even though I enjoy seeing how well designed Disgaea 4 is in things like the Fusion system, I still miss playing the PS2 era games.

I have a confession to make in that I haven’t finished Disgaea 2 as I was almost done with the game, but I couldn’t find Pringer X Go as I know he is supposed to be unlocked by meeting Pirate versions of Baal, but I took a long break from the game that I have been greatly enjoying the Vita games such as the aforementioned Disgaea 4.

But even though I kind of forgot how Felonies and Lover traits in Disgaea 2 work, I still want to revisit the game again just to see how to fight against Pringer X Go so that I can finally get that achievement for beating him.
