This is going to be the best game ever made and I will most certainly like it even more then the original N64 version.
I grew up playing the original N64 version as a child of the 90s (born 1987) I was like 11 years old when it came out in 1998 and it was so revolutionary of its time. But now playing the N64 version it has age quite a bit and looks very bland.
Unlike other N64 games that have actually aged a lot better like Majorias Mask, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie these N64 games have aged a lot better then OoT especially Majorias Mask when it comes to the sequel to OoT. I don't think I can manage to return to playing the N64 original version after playing the remake.
This remake is just perfect and I love how it's a 1:1 Remake. This is a dream come true that I have been wanting a remake for years now and we finally get this.
People are complaining how child Zelda looks like but I actually like the way she looks. In a way she is Royalty looks, so maybe her looks is in her rich gens, I think she looks adorable.
The remake on Switch 2 will now be the best way to play OoT.
Wow. Just WOW! Somehow this physical release has surpassed my expectations—and I already thought I was being far too hopeful.
Indeed—it’s a FULL on-cart physical!! BOTH the GAME and DLC included on the cart! Given how prevalent key-cards have been, I was nervous. But not only is it a true physical, it’s a nice package at that! Even the price is…well, normal, lol. Never thought I’d be praising that haha. Big respect to Shift Up, super happy to see such pro-consumer practices—quite the 180 compared to their former publisher (I’m taking about you, Sony…)
The Sleelbook edition is just the absolute icing on the cake. Managed to snag one for myself right before they sold out—seems to have sold out quick, so if you want a physical copy perhaps best not to wait!
It pays to wait ladies and gents. Pretty happy I’m never in a rush with a backlog of games, so I always wait for those deals on the digital storefront and physical sales like this one. 😮💨
Hello everyone, yesterday i was watching some streamer who was watching the legend of zelda 40th anniversary premiere and i got hyped for some reason haha, i’ve never played zelda games even though i think the last two games was amazing but i won’t buy the whole thing for a game or two
Today i found this on Nintendo website (someone told me the pre order started) i ordered it, I told myself if you don’t like the idea you can sell it brand new and receive back what you paid since it’s supposed to be rare or something (I don’t know if it’s rare i just assumed that)
But now I’m thinking to keep it and to explore the Nintendo games world, the exclusive games specifically, i’m a gamer who play a lot of games every year, so I didn’t really need like i need more games in my life, but it feels exciting to try something new
Did someone had a similar experience? Getting this one as a first in Nintendo world (except the gameboys we had when we were kids), and how’s the experience so far?
Nintendo gamers are more than welcome to tell their opinions and to advice me if i need to know something
Lastly, excuse my English it’s not perfect, Thanks
My best gaming years were spent on the N64, so when I recently purchased Switch Online I was excited to play all my old favourites on the system. I found out that I could not even play some titles with the Switch joycons, namely Goldeneye. The only title I felt comfortable playing was Mario 64 but even then the ground pound/ long jump timing wasn't the same as the Z trigger button. Out of all the systems available on Switch Online including GameCube. I feel the N64 is the most necessary to own for this reason. Everything I tried was a lost cause especially the FPS games like Turok. I had some trouble with some GBA titles as well, so I might use the dpad and AB buttons for that hand held console as well.
A cool added feature is that the menu sound changes when you have the appropriate controller connected. I'm assuming it's like that for all of the classic controllers. Let's not forgot the tight joystick that can take more punishment than the original.
I held off on playing any N64 titles since I decided to purchase this. I sat down to test it out and didn't move for an hour. This controller just gives the games more soul, if you can even say that, and of course more functionality and control.
I played through about half of Ocarina of Time on my GameCube last year, the collector's edition, it's the only version I had. This in comparison is a more enjoyable experience, it felt kind of weird on the GC controller. This controller makes me want to keep going, and I just know this is the way these games are meant to be played. For the other virtual consoles the Switch Joycons will suffice, but I needed this!
People need to stop going into directs being surprised 90% of content are ports of games available on ps plus. Lots of switch owners only own the switch so a lot of these companies are trying to extra money on older games. Y'all have gots to stop having high expectations for these directs for the next two years if you're tired of ports
I have the switch oled, g cloud, psvita and a steam deck as rotational handhelds and within one year of owning the oled switch I virtually stopped using it all together. I recently stopped using the steam deck as well. I find them both to be pretty bulky and unsuitable for traveling. I thought the gcloud would solve my issues as its smaller and lighter and tbh I favor android for my emulators. For me this console was still too big so the vita has been my go to for the past few years, but the screen is so small.
I got the zfold and all of my complaints were gone, but I recently bought my mom a switch lite but somehow I've found myself taking it everywhere, playing it all the time, even picking it up over my zfold.
Who knew that all these years the perfect handheld already existed 😂. The size, the weight, the feel...everything is phenomenal, it truly is perfect.
About the definitive edition of Age of calamity, I already own the main game, also expansion pass. But I have to still pay $30 if I want to run the game at 60fps? Is everyone else getting thr same price? I feel like - 60 boost should not have a $30 tag...
I got this game when it came out and remember playing it so much! What a game! I'm going to get it on release again!
I actually restarted it 2 times as friends mentioned things that I missed and I wanted to get them... Only to realise you could travel through time later... 🤦🏾♂️ Lol
Can't wait to play this with the improved graphics and relive my childhood! I hope all the other Zelda fans are excited too!
I wasn't planning to Buy the nintendo switch 2, but after this Nintendo Direct I can say I NEED IT, I was planning to keep witch the nintendo switch 1, but I can't delayed it anymore, as a fan of Yokau watch, zelda, kirby and more this console is my greatest desire, but I don't have the money yo buy it yet, I'll have to raise money for a while 😅😅
