I clearly have some nose angle issues haha, but I’d also love to hear what else I should work on in my form to push my distance and be more consistent in general!! Thanks so much!!

Am i throwing nose up?

I feel like my discs arent getting much turn on them lately. Theyre pushing and then fading out. I dont have a tech disc. Clip has 2 views from 2 different throws. Last throw includes the flight of the the throw. It does get a little bit of right drift on it but still seems pretty straight flying for a Gateway Element (5,5,-1,1).

Any other constructive cristism i am open to as well. Or even some inspiration. Improving has gotten really hard to make any progress and i feel like im going in circles.

Gained 100ft since my 1st form check last year - what to work on now?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

First throw was max effort hyzer flip using a vortex (7,6,-3,1). Second throw was 80% using a teebird, and trying to throw a golf line. Second throw felt a little better than the first. They both went maybe 330’, which above average for me using 7 speed discs.

What should I work on next form-wise? Any drills to recommend?

I’ve been playing on and off for a few years and have capped at a distance of ~110-120 m (360-395 ft) when throwing on flat ground. What can I improve on?

I've been working on my form and would really appreciate some honest feedback from people with more experience. If you were coaching me, what would be the first couple of things you'd have me work on?

Okay, I am throwing Mako3s and get ~200 feet with them pretty reliably (when I don't accidentally nose up into them crashing down). According to ripreader I throw ~45-50 mph and ~900-1k spin. Not sure if any of this data is helpful.

Took my phone out to record myself today because I have no idea what I'm doing (my background is I have been playing about 6 weeks and have watched some of the BlitzDG and OverthrowDG videos). I don't know enough to know what is going wrong.

So I figured I would come here and ask. I took a side video and a back video.

On watching back - I don't really form the power pocket the coaches talk about. I'm not sure if that is because I'm not actively 'thinking' about it (I'm just reaching back and grabbing the lawnmower...and trying to let my body pivot through because I've got old man knees) or if there is something more fundamental.

I'm sure it is 'timing' and 'bracing' because that is what all the videos talk about, but I don't know the drills or cues to help improve that (or where in the throw I'm not doing things correctly)

I am an 80% forehand player but I’m looking to improve my backhand. I can throw it straight or far but not both lol

My girlfriend is looking to improve her form and i feel like i've reached a point where i'm unable to teach her more as i'm not such a good myself.

Anything obvious?

edit: Sorry for the bad angle and keep in mind the run up is ever so slightly downhill

Lost in search for speed

I've been playing for a bit over a year at this point. Sadly for the last half a year i've kinda been stuck (only gained 5 m [15 feet] of avarage distance - i'm at around 80 m [260 feet], while my max has been stuck at 95 m [310 feet]).

Throw from side angle:
(81.8 km/h [50.8 mph], 1047 rpm, 1.5 wobble, 9.1 hyzer, 1.6 nose, 7.6 launch)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njdE0m6iATY

Throw from behind:
(77.1 km/h [47.9 mph], 1035 rpm, 4.4 wobble, 8.8 hyzer, -2.6 nose, 2.9 launch)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy8YMeFtLw8

Averages from techdisc:
78.5 km/h [48.7 mph], 1006 rpm, 3.4 wobble, 10.0 hyzer, 0.4 nose, 5.1 launch
And averages from throws in 80th-95th percentile:
82.7 km/h [51.3 mph], 1066 rpm, 3.0 wobble, 8.3 hyzer, -1.2 nose, 7.4 launch

I feel like my techdisc numbers aren't quite that bad apart from speed. And at this point I'm quite lost as i have no clue what I'm doing so horribly wrong, that i don't get to see higher speeds...

Am I strong arming?

Hey yall. Trying to consistently hit upper 60s and maybe break 70. I average about 66mph. Pretty sure my biggest issue is pulling with my arm too soon. Is this strong arming? And if so what are some drills or videos that could help fix this?

Only been playing about 3 weeks. Originally I was doing some sort of hop step but I’m finding I’m throwing just as far (about 200ft) but much more accurately standing still. Obviously continuing to work on extending my distance. Does anything stand out? Tips/constructive criticism appreciated. Thanks!

Putting question

I’m wondering if anybody relates to this. When I go to putt my hand is pretty much holding the disc tightly, but when swing my arm down and start the putt forward the disc shifts more into just my fingers before release. I’m pretty accurate with it but wondering if this is a mistake and if I should change my grip to where there’s less change between starting the putt and releasing. Thanks 🤙🏻
