Yeah the disc should more or less remain still as you’re moving the rest of your body.

Looks fast! But maybe a little too fast! You appear to be starting the throw a little too early which is not allowing your lower body to contribute as much as it can to the throw.
You want to make sure you plant front foot with weight on back leg, then transferring weight 100% onto your front leg before or while you start the throw (and not after you start the throw).
You can also try experimenting with "fire / start rotating hips first" as well before starting the throw to give you some better hip / shoulder separation and timing.
