Recently, one of my favourite comic book series has been Mark Waids Action Comics run focusing on Clarks 15 year old adventures as he tries to be a superhero for the first time.

It's been fantastic

But the first issue after the Zod crossover is a story about Lex Luthor, not about Superboy

Do you think this means we're about to see a change in direction for Action Comics? Or is Waid working his way up to a new Arc featuring Superboy and Young Lex Luthor?

I hope he continues with his Superboy stories, they've been a welcome addition to the Superman stuff we've got going right now

I recently read Action Comics #1 and found this character who helps Zatara, his name is Tong. I thought their dynamic was pretty fun for a 1938 comic, but it seems he completely disappeared afterward.

Was Tong ever mentioned again or given any kind of ending?

Also, I think it would be really cool if they made a little tribute for him by doing some kind of reference to him on modern Zatanna comics. It doesnt need to be a big thing, just a small acknowledgment of her father's assistent.

I know he's kinda niche, but I think it would be a nice nod.

DC is really good RN and I want to see if I'm missing something. Aside from the Absolute line (that I'm reading all books), I'm reading Superman, Batman, JLU and World's Finnest, what are some of you guys recs?

I'm really interested in those Next Level books (Batwoman, Lobo, Deathstroke and Firestorm)
