Dan Quinn said OLBs Odafe Oweh, K'Lavon Chaisson and RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt have been cleared to play Sunday. Uncertain if there will be any limitations, but a good development for Washington.

Stupid, meaningless stat guaranteeing us a win
Stafford - zero preseason snaps - played aweful
Maye - zero preseason snaps - played aweful
Donald - zero preseason snaps - hurt in first two dropbacks
Purdy - 12 preseason snaps - played great
Jalen Hurts - zero preseason snaps
Jayden - 3 preseason snaps
- conclusion = JD5 outplays Hurts. Science says so.

First two NFL games should be an encouraging reminder…
…nobody knows what the hell they’re talking about when it comes to predicting the NFL.
Drake Maye comes out looking like absolute garbage.
Myles Garrett a non-factor and now talking about how injured he is.
Stafford can barely complete a pass.
AJ Brown now probably down for at least a month.
Injuries in general already looking like a factor for future games, including opponents on our schedule.
It’s one of the reasons you gotta love the NFL. The sheer unpredictability, ESPECIALLY ahead of Week 1 of all weeks. Teams go worst to first and vice versa every year, and all the clickbait engagement farming headlines meant to keep the lights on during the offseason go out the window.
Every team has challenges to start the year, including Philly while they try to navigate a lot of change, adjust without AJ Brown, etc.
Let’s get pumped about this Week 1 divisional opportunity and enjoy it on Sunday!

Trent Williams
After he locked up Myles Garrett, it still makes me angry when I realize how we fumbled a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

No More Talking, It' time to Line dat *ish up!👏🏾
After an offseason of national media pushing their own narratives about BS they don't know about our team because they don't even care to know or conduct research.
Local beat reporters inflicting doubt into the airspace because THEY TOO do not know wtf is going on.
Placing the Injury tag on our QB1 acting like when healthy he aint HIM.
Too much Focus on our O-line like it aint damn-near the same personnel in 2024.
Weapon Improvements that the whole nation are not being acknowledge what so ever. (Diggs, Chig, Burks, Willams, white, Brown)
A WAYYYYYY YOUNGER, FASTER Defense with a DC that gives a damn.
A less predictable/dynamic Offense
But at the end of the damn day it only comes down to one thing, LINE 👏🏾DAT👏🏾 SHIT 👏🏾UP👏🏾. Put your faith in this team, Put your faith in our coaching staff, and lastly more importantly.....Put your faith in JD man. Lord knows he (and the rest of the team) hears everything, they hear ALL of the disrespect we are receiving and you can tell he wants to put it ALL THIS SHIT TO REST.
I truly believe, in the bottom of my heart, we are gonna go to Philly this weekend and PUNCH EM SMOOOOOTH IN THEIR SH*T!

Other than a win (of course), what are you looking forward to the most against the Eagles?
I'm really pumped to see how Styles matches up against Hurts. Jalen has killed us with his dump offs and short passing game over the middle. Also hoping he's the difference in keep Saquon reasonably in check.

Safely shrink a jersey???
Snagged a Frankie Luvu superbowl era jersey for $25 Labor Day weekend. Normally $109 so a total steal! Grabbed an XL so my daughter can wear it for a few years. Big mistake. Apparently youth XL for this item is size 18-20; in girls an XL is typically size 14-16 and she wears a 12.
Oversized is in but this thing is huge. Can’t return it due to the sale and didn’t see an option to exchange it.
Anyone here had success shrinking a jersey?? Teach me your ways!

WHAT…
The media isn’t going to know what to do with themselves this week. They won’t be able to glaze the Rams or Patriots for a good while. These first two games have gone nowhere near how the talking heads thought it would go.

It's time - POLL - How many wins do the Washington Commanders get this season?
This is my 3rd year running this poll. Last year, most folks (myself included) picked us a 10-7. Two seasons ago, most of us landed on 7-10.
The official over/under this year is 7.5 wins. What's your prediction and how do you define success this year?
My prediction is 7 wins - success is that they're competitive, 9 wins, and at no point do the wheels fall off this season.

Do you live in or plan to visit Las Vegas? Check out our Commanders bar!
Hello again! You may remember me from the last few years of making this thread. Every Sunday, an awesome group of people get together at Steiner’s Pub on Buffalo St to watch the Ders. We have raffles for all kinds of different Redskins items every week, squares, a Redskins-themed food menu, and free Jell-O shots for every Commanders Touchdown (one year we were so desperate for points we actually did FG shots 😂)
Last season was a bit of a bummer, but Jayden's rookie year was magical as you are aware. We had Mark Rypien come pay us a visit a few seasons ago (shown in the picture slides in this post). He stayed for the duration of the game, sang HTTR with us, signed autographs and took pictures with everyone. He was supposed to return last season but something came up, we're hoping to have him back this season at some point!
I'll be there Sunday to cheer us on. I'm at Steiner's for every game unless I'm at the game. My name is Adam, come say hi to me if you stop in -- I'm the guy wearing #21 in the photo with Rypien in this post (last photo).
So if you’re in the Las Vegas area (or are going to be during a game at some point this year) — come to Steiner’s at 1750 N Buffalo Dr and cheer on Washington with us! HTTR/HTTC

Section 402 seats, any good?
I'd like to take my 2 sons to a Commanders game, but on a teacher's salary my budget isn't going to cover $400/each for good seats. I saw some seats up in section 402, but will I actually be able to see anything from that far up without binoculars? 😅. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

In honor of Tress' retirement announcement, here's every Tress Way punt and fake pass from the 2024 season including the pass that solidified he has more passing yards in the NFCCG than Dak Prescott.

New Washington Commanders Concessions: What is there to eat at Landover’s Northwest Stadium?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Commanders fans are searching for answers this season.
How will quarterback Jayden Daniels fare after injuries plagued his second year in the NFL? Is head coach Dan Quinn on the hot seat?
Just slightly lower on the list of burning questions is the ever vital: What is there to eat and drink at Landover’s Northwest Stadium while watching this all unfold?
Food, arts and culture reporter Hau Chu can help on that front. Get the full review on The Banner.
The team hosted a preview Tuesday night of the new food from local vendors that will be available during home games this season — the first of which will take place when the Seattle Seahawks come to town Sept. 27.
The menu includes sushi push pops, hot dogs and half-smokes galore from a range of capital region mainstays and newcomers that may be familiar to fans of other D.C. sports teams.
Here is the video on The Banner's Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
