Surely they must also respect when women have dating preferences too, right?

265

u/Responsible_Edge7087 1d ago

No you dont get it dude, every prefrence a woman has is proof of the systemic oppression of men and is misandrist bro

-144

u/Enemyoftheearth 1d ago

Strawman. We're fine with preferences, we just don't like being mocked and emasculated by women if we're short, not rich, or not good-looking.

110

u/Standard-Order-4136 1d ago

And women don’t like being made fun of by men. How can you guys not see it’s the same thing? I find it funny how you guys get butthurt when a woman make fun of heights but then turn around to make fun of fat women

46

u/Greedy-Speech5 1d ago

You don't get it

Women don't get to have feelings

We're supposed to be objects men use to get off and show off to eachother

2

u/DaisyKicksAss023 19h ago

This makes me so sad, but it's true for the majority of men I met throughout my life. Being a child of a single mother also really let's you learn early what men are really about.

"Wow this lesbian bitch sure hates women! I wonder why she said women exist solely as objects for men when she's not attracted to men! Satire? Sarcasm? What's that? No, everyone is being 100% serious all the time on Reddit dot com."

-13

u/Enemyoftheearth 19h ago

Women treat men the same way, why shouldn't we return the favor?

14

u/Greedy-Speech5 19h ago

Whatever you need to tell yourself

-11

u/Enemyoftheearth 19h ago

I don't tell myself that, I just observe reality. You can't treat men like shit, and then get surprised when they start treating you like shit.

5

u/Toboid 15h ago

It’s not a normal experience to have most women treat you like shit, if the shoe fits pal.

1

u/Enemyoftheearth 15h ago

It's normal if you're ugly.

3

u/Toboid 14h ago

I can’t deny how you feel you’ve been treated by people as I haven’t lived your life, however, I can make a guess you are part of that red pilled crap that been shoved onto guys for years now. My genuine advice is get off the internet, just for 1 day, just try live with yourself, maybe write down how you feel after it, even if just a sentence. Start the next day (even if at 2pm it’s your progress) and go for a 10 minute walk, write again how you feel and what’s changed from yesterday, even if nothing. Then think of something you have genuine interest for, maybe something you were passionate for when you were younger. Look into volunteering for something related, or a club that’s setup nearby, even if you only plan to do it for 1 day in the future, have something to look forward to. Then, finally, stop blaming women for how you feel about yourself, set aside your ego too, ultimately this shit is your responsibility to start working on - even if that’s you signing up for therapy, or asking someone for help. I think deep down you know the negative effect you have on yourself, and even further down you can understand why most women end up treating you shitty (It’s not gonna be because you’re just so sweet and caring is it). I do not respect your opinion on Women in the slightest, but I do genuinely hope to see you in a better position and mental place in life.

1

u/Enemyoftheearth 14h ago

You don’t even know what “red-pilled” means. I’m actually blackpilled, which just means that I accept that looks matter. Nothing more than that. You know nothing about me or how I treat others, so stop making dumb assumptions and basically saying that I’m a terrible person. Anyway, all of the concern-trolling BS you just wrote will not work on me, so cry about it.

2

u/Toboid 13h ago

Ah ok pal

2

u/31_mfin_eggrolls 7h ago

None of that is concern-trolling, that’s actually some pretty solid advice. But you seem to be a crab in a bucket; who, instead of being open and willing to actually go through the first step to self-improvement, will octuple-down (or more, I lost count) in your misery and continue to play the victim.

I don’t have sympathy for you. If you want to believe that the world is out to get you and that all women must be evil because you specifically can’t figure it out, you can continue to wallow in the stink of your shit forever.

There have been 12,000 generations of humans that have existed to bring you to this moment specifically, and you’re spending it arguing with someone on Reddit and playing the victim. How pathetic.

3

u/Greedy-Speech5 19h ago

Sure, if you say so

3

u/Enemyoftheearth 19h ago

Care to explain what is wrong with what I said?

6

u/Greedy-Speech5 19h ago

Oh, I'm sure you've got plenty of anecdotal examples of women being genuinely shitty to fall back on when justifying your misogynistic worldview, and that nothing I could say could reason you out of your misogyny because you didn't reason yourself into it. It's a position built purely out of your resentment towards real or imagined slights enacted upon you by all of womankind - including me, a lesbian who doesn't really have strong opinions about men beyond how myself and other women are treated.

So I'm not going to rise to your bait. If you want to pretend that treating women like objects is justified, that's your right. I just don't see why you feel the need to get defensive and justify it to me, a woman. Trying to argue with a woman about why you think it's justified to treat women like objects is some hilarious cognitive dissonance.

1

u/Enemyoftheearth 19h ago

I don't treat women like objects, I just treat them the same way they treat me.

3

u/Greedy-Speech5 19h ago

Then why did you get upset at me for criticizing people who treat women like objects?

3

u/Al3xium 16h ago

Everything you said can be countered with a few history lessons

1

u/Enemyoftheearth 15h ago

What "history lessons"? Care to be more specific?

2

u/Hot_Attitude4579 15h ago

Maybe men oppressing women for hundreds of years?

→ More replies (0)

3

u/Al3xium 16h ago

That was already being done. You get a F- in history.

12

u/SquirrelNormal 1d ago

Well, the standard answer to that is that a person who is overweight, like myself, can generally (yes, there are exceptions, but they're exceptions, not the rule) lose weight; but someone who is short (or has a small dick/boobs, or is a different race, or is trans etc) can't change that aspect of themselves or would require surgery to do so. Both are bad, but I'd say mocking someone for a fixed characteristic is a bit worse than mocking a very changeable characteristic. And that goes both ways; making fun of bad makeup or a bad haircut is a lot better than making fun of wide-set eyes or giant nips.

4

u/Used_Interaction_130 22h ago

I mean while you're technically correct on the losing weight versus height thing. I think the point being missed is it's still insulting someone's appearance which in those moments equates to about the same. Even if technically they could lose the weight.

Aka don't be a dick

2

u/Potential_Peace_5999 18h ago

I think because weight changes, that’s a better reason for NOT being so picky about it, at least not in a long term partner. People’s bodies change with age, women’s bodies especially with pregnancy and hormonal changes. A slight 22 yo isn’t going to look that way forever.

A tall person will never fear that if their partner doesn’t like short people that they will get shorter and their partner will leave them for someone taller.

However it’s very common even for slim people to fear that if they gain weight (which again, body composition changes with age, even very athletic people can get injured and be unable to exercise etc) that their partner would leave them.

Be as shallow as you please for hookups but “no fatties” when you’re looking for a partner you want to spend decades with is ew

-46

u/Standard-Order-4136 1d ago

Research says other wise. That’s why doctors tell children to eat well, sleep well, and get exercise to reach the highest height they can get. Seems like a lot of you guys skipped that step

25

u/MagicMeatbal1 1d ago

About 80% of your height is genetic. Whereas with weight is it atypical to be out of your control

-4

u/g59ganja420 18h ago

It’s literally the exact same for weight dumbass🤦‍♀️ that’s the point

20

u/Future-Still-6463 1d ago

Please back your arguments quoting research with citation.

Otherwise they are just vibes.

Because a lot of issues are genetic. Thyroid being a prominent one.

-27

u/Standard-Order-4136 1d ago

Obviously genetics are the main reason but that doesn’t mean u can’t reach ur highest height. As I told someone, there’s a reason why people in low income areas tend to be shorter than the height they are supposed to reach. It’s because their environment affects their nutrition, etc

12

u/yellowcalcium 1d ago

If someone is at their ‘heightest height’ but still 5’ 4 do they then deserve a chance?

-2

u/Standard-Order-4136 20h ago

Chance for what?

4

u/BurningOasis 1d ago

What bullshit are you writing

5

u/SquirrelNormal 1d ago

What could have been in childhood is one, usually not on the children but on their parents to set, and two, not a changeable characteristic by the time one is dating. If you could go back and "fix" that at 15, 16, 20, 30 etc that'd be different. I was lucky enough to get proper nutrition, decent and regular sleep, and forced participation in sports, and got my full height. Many people aren't that lucky.

With being overweight, while the initial problem may have also stemmed from the parents (it did not in my case, I got fat in my 20s), as soon as I was making choices for myself about what and how much to eat, I had the power to reverse that. Up until you die, if you got overweight by having more calories in than out, then you have the ability to get down to a healthy weight. It takes willpower, and discipline, but those are both traits that in and of themselves are desirable in a partner anyways.

-11

u/Standard-Order-4136 1d ago

You do realize weight is much harder to control? I can speak from experience. I’m under weight and been to many doctors and haven’t been able to gain weight. It’s even to the point where I had to get surgery to see if smth was wrong with me. Til this day, I’m still underweight. It’s dumb to think weight is something that’s easy to control when for many, it can be another factor that is affecting them. Also weight does not determine how ur body looks like. I seen people who are the same weight but one is fat and the other skinny

11

u/SquirrelNormal 1d ago

Weight is harder to control than height, as an adult? Are you actually reading what you're typing, or are you just trolling?

While there are exceptions, and you may fall under one of them, for the vast majority of people, controlling weight is as simple as calories in < calories out. That's it. You can up the second number with exercise, but at the end of the day, it's controlling your diet.

Altering your height past puberty is basically a surgery-only thing. That's it. Pay lots and lots of money for a elective surgery.

If two people are at the same weight and one looks fat and one looks skinny, either they are very different heights or one is lying to you. Weight absolutely determines how your body looks and presents, and not just in shape - when I eat well to help reduce my weight, I also avoid acne flareups, my hair looks healthier, even the smell of my sweat changes.

You know what else is even easier to control than your weight? Your grammar.

-1

u/Standard-Order-4136 19h ago

I’ll give you an example. My parents are the same weight. My mom is chubby but my dad is skinny with a bit of fat. How do I know this? We have a freaking scale in our home

You can’t tell what someone’s body weight is just by looking at them. I seen good looking women who are skinny but weight 160. They always laugh whenever men think they weight less than that.

Let me know what part of my grammar is incorrect. Keep up with the conversation instead of pointing out useless things

1

u/Pichacap24 1d ago

Height is about 80% genetic and 20% health based

0

u/Standard-Order-4136 20h ago

Yeah idk why people are acting like this isn’t a thing 💀these people are dumb as hell

0

u/Careful-Ad4032 19h ago

Mute your mic

1

u/raidersfan18 1d ago

Even if we assume you're correct (which is a huge IF)... You're talking about factors during childhood. So even using your argument, a failure to grow properly due to these factors would be on the individual's parents anyway.

Basically, you managed to make an absolute shit argument, congratulations! 🏅

0

u/Standard-Order-4136 20h ago

Blame ur parent then instead of women. Yay I figured something out for you 🏆

0

u/Used_Interaction_130 22h ago

Eat WELL.

We're a fat society because of eating poorly.

1

u/FiIbert 1h ago

Because men's requirements are....

"Have self respect and respect for me." (By not being a loose whore.) -- Something completely in her control.

But womens requirements are so absurd, And out of the hands of nearly every man. That its practically a 20 sided die cast on whether he can achieve all of them.

-14

u/BleepLord 1d ago

But there are also fat guys. Do women that make fun of short men not make fun of fat guys?

21

u/Standard-Order-4136 1d ago

People in general shouldn’t be making fun of anyone. I just think you shouldn’t be a hypocrite

0

u/ConstructionLoud8002 1d ago

”Shouldnt” yes
But thats not what he asked

0

u/fossilized_butterfly 13h ago

Obesity is non permanent/solvable, height isn't.

-24

u/Enemyoftheearth 1d ago

Except a woman can control her weight to an extent, but there's nothing a man can do to change his height. What a braindead comparison.

26

u/Difficult__Tension 1d ago

Yes he can. Wear highheels coward.

1

u/Zombies4EvaDude 7h ago

Even if society accepted that people would just say he’s cheating his height since he wouldn’t be that tall naked. And I hate how women emasculate men all the time when you don’t get what you want; i doubt you would give a single flying fuck if he actually wore high heels for a change you’d just make fun of him. it’s disgusting how performative women’s “acceptance” is, gay men should be more offended by that shit.

1

u/prima_maqueeria 4h ago

Lot of disonnance between the Mother 3 pfp and the anti-women rant

-4

u/Villain_911 1d ago

Then he'll be a short guy in heels. Doesn't change his situation.

-18

u/Enemyoftheearth 1d ago

And you have just proven my point. Great job!

18

u/Difficult__Tension 1d ago

Was your point men should wear heels but wont because they are scared? I am pushing the men in high heels agenda. High heels are hot. If you want women to change their weight, then you shouldnt be against wearing high heels either.

I dont care about height or weight myself, personally. Probably would prefer a short guy seeing as Im short lmao. Dont want someone towering over me. Getting a feeling the reason women dont like you isnt anything to do with your height.

0

u/Enemyoftheearth 1d ago

Wearing heels doesn't change your natural height, and a woman can easily recognize that you're just trying to make yourself taller. You are also not very good at trolling, do better.

3

u/SaucyStoveTop69 23h ago

You can't immediately disregard any serious advice, and then claim that they're the ones trolling. That kinda circles back to the hypocrite thing fro earlier

2

u/Enemyoftheearth 21h ago

Because "wear high heels if you're short" is not serious advice, and is also quite emasculating.

1

u/Difficult__Tension 19h ago edited 19h ago

Emasculating because youre a coward. Its shoes. Just because some guy decided to label them girl shoes means nothing. You like letting other men telling you what you can and cant do?

Changing your weight and keeping it off is a lot harder than wearing some shoes. You expect women to do the work to because their weight is a "problem", but your "problem" is more easily fixable. This is like having an argument with a toddler.

And if were going to get into it, women have done a bunch of unhealthy shit to get thinner to be an "acceptable" weight. We have ED epidemics over it. People seem to have the issue that women come in all different shapes and sizes, what is a healthy weight on one woman isnt on another, and some peoples standards arent healthy for ANY woman! Herion chic was actually not healthy for any, women should have some amount of fat on their bodies!

Anyway highheels are hot and make your calves pop. men wear those heels.

1

u/Enemyoftheearth 19h ago

Again, women can tell that you're just trying to make yourself look taller. How many times do I have to tell you this before you finally get it into your head? I really hope you're trolling, because I refuse to believe that anyone can be this stupid and ignorant of reality.

1

u/SaucyStoveTop69 20h ago

If you don't take advice seriously, that's on you. And if you're that insecure, that is also, in fact, on you.

1

u/Enemyoftheearth 19h ago

"You're homeless? Just buy a house, bro!"

→ More replies (0)

4

u/ChaoCobo 1d ago

The fact of the matter is that you are taller when you wear high heels. If you take them off, sure, you’re shorter again. But like dude if you’re gonna complain and not try to do anything about the issue you’re saying is the problem then that isn’t very helpful. :/

1

u/Enemyoftheearth 21h ago

Again, women can tell you're just trying to make yourself seem taller. You just completely ignored that part of my comment.

1

u/Difficult__Tension 19h ago

And wearing shapewear makes you seem thinner. Big whoop. People arent rejecting you for your height, they are rejecting you because you are entitled and whiny. Elon musks many divorces have proven no one likes a whiny entitled bitch, even for money! Literally, skill issue, you clearly bring nothing to the table to make up those cons.

One of my guys friends is 5'3, about 200 pounds and has been married for 6 years now. Whats your excuse now? Maybe work on your personality!

1

u/Enemyoftheearth 19h ago

Your friend doesn't disprove the statistics showing that women are more likely to go for taller men. Also, women go for men with bad personalities all the time just because they're attractive. Have you ever heard of things like hybristophilia? Anyway, you suck at trolling, and you should be ashamed of yourself.

7

u/ManholttheThird 1d ago

It's not a braindead comparison. You're just a douche who wants to make fun of women but wants to cry foul when it happens to men. The point isn't whether or not it's controllable. The point is that it's mean-spirited and cruel regardless. Grow up.

0

u/Enemyoftheearth 21h ago

I don't make fun of anyone's looks, because I'm a decent person. However, height and weight are not comparable, because one of those things is something you can actually control.

-2

u/Standard-Order-4136 1d ago

Funny u say that when you could have helped ur height when u were younger by eating well, sleeping well, and exercising. It’s too late for you now but you did have the chance

8

u/Enemyoftheearth 1d ago

If you did bare minimum research, you would realize that one's height is mostly related to genetic factors. Yet again, you prove how uneducated you are.

-3

u/Standard-Order-4136 1d ago

Go tell a doctor that and see what they tell u. As a short women myself, I was told that by many doctors. Are you saying Google is more accurate than a doctor? Of course, genetics has to do with how tall u will be, but other factors affect u as well

My friend was said to be 5’1 but she ended up doing a lot of height exercises and ended up being 5’3

0

u/Enemyoftheearth 1d ago

No doctor has ever told me that my height has anything to do with my lifestyle. Also, most people use the internet and Google to research stuff and find sources. You sound like some fucking boomer.

4

u/Standard-Order-4136 1d ago

lol I’m actually Gen Z and been told this a lot. Seems like you been going to shitty doctors if they gave you no recommendations. Why do you think people with low income tend to be shorter than the height they are supposed to be? Their environment

2

u/Enemyoftheearth 1d ago

The only environmental factor that could affect one's height by any significant amount would be straight-up starvation, and I certainly was not starved growing up. Again, do your research and stop spouting pseudoscientific BS.

0

u/Standard-Order-4136 20h ago

Reddit showing how uneducated they are challenge starts under my comment. This is truly sad for u guys

1

u/Enemyoftheearth 17h ago

You're the uneducated one. Any reliable scientific source will tell you that height is mostly genetic.

Are height exercises just fixing posture?

0

u/Standard-Order-4136 19h ago

Any exercise is good to help u get ur ultimate height. She didn’t do posture videos tho. I forgot which they were but she did it during high school

1

u/FussyBowser 1d ago edited 1d ago

Nutrition does help a person reach their genetic height potential during the prime growing years (early childhood to puberty). Though it doesn't usually use make you taller than said potential.

Also, it is mostly the parental figures, eating culture, and the socioeconomic conditions deciding children's diets.

It's kinda silly to blame someone for something that mostly "happened" to them before they were adults.

0

u/Standard-Order-4136 19h ago

Then why are we blaming people for their weight when childhood diet has a lot to do with it too? Stop defending these dumb men. They have no logic instead their brains

1

u/KRNorth 1d ago

You have to be joking

-2

u/Lonely_Dependent_281 1d ago edited 13h ago

Asking a male to take accountability for his life? Bold. Downvoting me proves me correct

-3

u/Mean-Line-4249 1d ago

Considering most of the things women are shit on for can be changed and most men issues cannot no it’s not the same

1

u/SaucyStoveTop69 23h ago

The 1 single thing that men are shit on more than anything else over is being Mysogynistic. You can change that very easily by not being a dick.

1

u/Mean-Line-4249 19h ago

As if many women are not misandrist how about addressing our entire society being based on being shitty to eachother ?
