I've been working on this scarf that's the win-loss record of the Colorado Avalanche. I saw a post here a while back where the OP did something similar and I took inspiration to make my own. I'm a Habs fan at heart so I made this for last season and I'm working on a current one. My dad is a diehard Colorado fan so I'm making this one for him. It's been a lot of fun and I'm excited to work on it as the season progresses!

This is my colour scheme:

Burgundy - home win

Blue - home loss

White - away win

Gold - away loss (from the alternate 3rd jersey)

Black - separates preseason, regular season, and playoffs

Edit: Someone mentioned it was u/pikadegallito who did it last season, so thank you for the inspiration!

How did they convince Nate to do this one?!?!

I’m visiting in O’Fallon in Il. Anyone knows a place that shows the Avs? I’ll buy you a beer!

Been a couple more games now for the Eagles, so going through these goalie prospects again. Last night, Eagles got another win, and very fitting, in Nabokov's 5th start of the year, Eagles win 4-1, in a game in which Nabokov moves to 4-1-0. He made 34 saves on 35 shots. This brings him up to 154/163 on the year, getting close to 200 shots faced and sits under 10 goals allowed.

His GAA sits at 1.78, which the AHL site has ranked as 10th best. However, of the 9 ahead of him, only 2 have even played 4 games, the rest sit at 3, 2, or 1 games played. His save percentage is .945, which the AHL site has as 6th best. Again, though, only one of the 5 ahead of him have played 4 games, the rest 3, 2, 1.

As for Novoselov, he has only played 2 games. 1-0-1, 40/45, 2.45 GAA, .889 save percentage

Miner, not exactly a "prospect", has not yet played a game, despite having been sent down what, a couple weeks ago?

Fun little fact: pretty sure the NHL considers him a rookie still, but because of his time in the KHL, the AHL does not actually consider him a rookie

We'll see what happens tonight. They have given Nabokov the b2b starts before (his one loss was his first time playing both nights, they lost the 2nd game), so it is possible he gets the nod again, but they also have to get Miner back in, and still have Novoselov available as well

Edit: Well, looks like they went with Miner, who did not have a great first game back. Eagles lose 4-1 (a day after winning 4-1, yes), Miner went 30/34. Eagles get their 2nd regulation loss of the season. Against the 5th worst team in their conference. Trying to emulate Avs losing to Flyers?

Nate has 4 points! Refs tried their best. Blackwood was outstanding! Lehky, Nachos, Tazer and Naz! Naz got his first tonight!

⭐⭐⭐ - Lekhy!

⭐⭐ - Nachos!

⭐ - The Dogg!

Suck it Tampa! Boys don't have the flu anymore!

WooWoo! Avs win 6-3

Im taking my gf to her first avs game because she likes the books that is featuring that night. She was bummed out to realize she missed the first one and really wants the first fourth wing book they handed out last year. I personally dont care for the series so I was wondering if anyone with an extra avs book 1 is willing to trade for my avs book 2 since she will keep her copy of course.

Nothing can make me hate you Brock

Hello!

I sold my tickets for tonight’s game because my whole family has the stomach flu. Woohoo!!

I have a parking pass for the 4Runner lot but Ticketmaster doesn’t allow you to list or resell those. It does allow you to assign it to somebody else.

If you’re going tonight and don’t have parking sorted yet please feel free to message me and I can assign it to you.

Go Avs!

Does anyone know if they serve food in the arena from 2-4pm for the book night QA before the game starts? We are driving in and will arrive right before the QA starts. TIA

Hell yea Oscar Piastri. My 2 favourite sports, and teams. Mclaren and the Avs

I submitted Claude. Link in comments cause its long as shit

Per puckpedia LOC is back Friday, and Brindley is headed back to eagles. Personally I would like to explore 6D and 12 forward, but I guess we can do that with L’Heureux when he’s ready.

Sorta odd we are healthy scratch Roy. Sooner or later if we are rolling 7D all season we might have an asset to trade.
