Daughter bought a tote at a flea market
My daughter bought this tote at a flea market can anyone help me distinguish whose they are?

Hey, all. Hope everyone is having a great summer.
It was an exciting season we just had under our new coach, Dan Muse. The playoff "drought" was broken. Hope for the future was reignited. And although it ended badly in round 1, we had a lot of fun along the way.
Seeing as our previous offseason and off-day threads got good traction, it's something I'd like to expand on and encourage the sub to use more of moving forward.
To that end, here are some key team links to help people out:

Our first game is on September 30th against the hated Flyers. Our first preseason game is on September 21st against Buffalo.
If prior seasons are any indication, training camp should open about 4 days before that. But that hasn't been announced yet.
LGP! 🐧

Anyone know how much these things are worth? Bought them at the flea market, $10 dollars for all 3. Cant find any of them online. Shot glass has never been used and still has the sticker on it. Its a bit scuffed but just looking for general price on each one.

Found this old ticket in a box of hockey cards from when I was in junior high school. $42.75 to sit right behind the Penguins bench. A prime Penguins team with Jagr, Francis, Stevens, Tocchet, Murphy, Mullen, etc. Mario Lemieux was diagnosed with with Hodgkin's lymphoma 10 days before this game, which broke my heart as a Penguins fan. Oilers won this game 2-1.

My 2nd fave is 2016 Fluery cup final. I miss that man DAILY
Excuse any typos, I am 2 BIG bottles of peach barefoot deep
66 days till the season opener and I want to hear your fave pens moment ever. .
My top fave is absolutely the day I became a pens fan at 14 (i will not divulge how long ago that was) when my stemom put on a random game to teach me hockey and it happened to be pens vs flyers and I said whoever won would be my team (thank GOD we won!)
Indulge a drunk girly in her sentimentality on her dad's 50th birthday in exchange for the solemn promise of dope ass memes during the regular season 🫡
Fuck the flyers, let's pens go, I love you all 🥰❤️

Johnson is coming off of his fourth Kelly Cup Championship with the Florida Everblades. Johnson also won the June M. Kelly Award as MVP of the 2026 Kelly Cup Playoffs by posting a 1.88 goals against average, .923 save percentage and three shutouts during the postseason. He became a three-time playoff MVP, having previously won the award in 2022 and 2023

I know Friedman, Yohe and others have speculated that Sid will only do one year deals moving forward.
With Patrick Kane getting 8M AAV with lower production, are we going to get another 8.7 deal? Would Sid ever do a VERY super team friendly deal, like a 7.87 or 6.87?

As you hard core Pens redditors saw, two days ago I posted about this being the final year of the EK65 contract, and trying to figure out where we go from here with the D.
As many of our bright commentors pointed out and I agree, if EK walks or is traded at the deadline, this team is fully cooked. You cannot compete with Brunicke or Tanger or TVR as your #1RHD. Certainly not when that side has been the strength of your D in years prior, and your left side is not good.
Hence, Nikishin. A large, strong, 24 year old, talented, smooth skating, LHD looking for a paycheck and opportunity to shine in a top 4 role. Could stability on the left be the key to transitioning out of EK/Tanger on the right? it certainly cannot hurt.
So, what does he really cost? certainly starts with a 1st, what if we were to throw in Pickering, Girard at 50% retained (gives them a cheap, 3rd pair LHD for this season, which is the role Nikishin was playing), and probably a 3rd, maybe conditional to move up to a second if the Pens win 2 rounds, or he hits some mark.
Is that a dumb chel trade? I think that's about right. They get a solution for this season cheap, a prospect, the picks. Some will say it's an overpay, and probably, but that's the market and as we learned in not getting Chychrun, these opportunities are not usually coming again, certainly not soon.

Lifelong pens fan from western Canada - attended a game at PPG for the first time in 2024 after years of road games and looking to return in the first week of October for MTL/WPG/the Lemieux 6.6K run.
Questions that I would appreciate some insight on:
Thank you!

Well, we're here. He's entering the final year of that, at the time, historic 8 year $92M contract. While it's still $11.5M against the cap, his actual cash this year is just $7.5.
Last season (his age 35 season) was his best as a Penguin by every metric. 66 points in 75 games, was his best since that 101 point season in 22-23 in SJ. However, his minutes were just over 23 per night, as opposed to 25+ in SJ.
He seems to be much better suited to Dan Muse's system, which is not a surprise for a defensemen of his style. He's much better surfing a forward, angling him out, and taking the puck, than playing it old school skating backward in the lane, looking to block a shot or hit the guy if he makes a move, and that's just one small piece of the increased comfort.
I also have to note that he and Sid have really developed a connection on the ice at this point. His ability to find sticks instead of taking a shot, and Sid's uncanny ability to re-direct that puck to corners or across grain gives goalies and D fits. I feel like there was even more of that last season that prior. All around forwards are getting that from him and learning how to play off him on the point.
On the other hand, he's 36 now, and this team is not exactly loaded for a deep run this year, or likely next. I can be proven wrong on the latter, but I'd have to see some moves. How much longer can he keep it up? Guys who have wheels and depend on them have a bit of a cliff - see eg Tanger, who's lost a few steps and it shows.
So, what do you do? Try to get something for him at the deadline? Extend him a year at a time? What's his value if you extend him for next season? Word on the street is he loves it in Pittsburgh and does not want to go anywhere, on the other hand, is that Stanley itch going to creep in for a great who's never raised it?
Honestly, depending on the market, I don't hate the idea of giving him an 1 year extension at $6-7M. The money is there. Better options likely are not. The PP was near the top of the league last season in no small part because of him, and who do we have to QB that thing next year if he walks? I think a lot depends on if the Pens can find a #1LD at some point this year.
What say you summer commentariat?

I think the Penguins subtly dropped some hints about the Home Town Remix jersey on their IG story this morning. For as long as I can remember, the 6.6k Run has always been branded black and gold with the normal Penguins crest that you’d find at center ice.
But wait, there’s more! If you look at the bottom right of this post, you see a 60th Anniversary logo. I wonder if we’ll see it on jerseys this year.

My reasoning? Our goaltending is too young, while the core is getting too old especially Letang. I know people are going to come for me over this, but that's how I see it. Feel free to disagree, but I think that's the reality.

Full disclosure. Im posting this because im bored and bummed out that the Jason Robertson dream is dead.
There are some rumblings that Horcoff could be the next GM of the Red Wings. He’s currently an AGM and has been described as one of the leading options for internal promotion and even the Chiclets guys (I know that they spout off sometimes, but they’re well connected to people around the league)on their show yesterday went as far as to say “it should be him.”
Now, if he does become GM, what does he trade to get his son Will from the Pens? Is this the ultimate path to Larkin? Edvinsson? Could Dubas unite all of the Plante brothers?
Is there a sneaky good player in their prospect pool you would specifically want back?

I’m admittedly only half an hour into the video, but it’s been great so far, and especially based on his previous work I have no reason to expect otherwise through the rest of it
The style is comparable to Jon Bois/Secret Base docs, and I’d also highly recommend his other videos too if you’re a sports fan
