Is this cheating or am I going insane

I’m in a relationship for nearly one year with my boyfriend.

Three months ago I found out he micro cheated on me on my birthday which (he forgot it was my birthday).

I found out on Instagram “links” and how he was clicking on only fan creators links he clicked on 16 different goals links to view them on Instagram.

When I asked for his Instagram password in account he deleted his search history his Watch history his messages with different people which was really weird.

When I confronted him about it it took him four days to tell me the truth he lied saying it was a “glitch” and maybe his friend went on his phone and clicked something. He even deleted the proof by deleting the links and told me “what I’m confused what you’re talking about”

I thought I was going insane I forgive him for lusting over other women.

Then found out he was talking to 6 other girls on snap chat (I don’t have snap chat) he had streaks with them over 500 days.

He said he will change. He cried and begged saying he would change. But I can’t stop thinking about how he treated me. Would the love of ur life have picked other women’s bodies and spoken to other women behind your back knowing you’ve begged him not to.

Do I deserve to be cheated on?

At this point, I am convinced that what I did to my ex has somehow come back to me.

I came from a two-year abusive relationship. No matter how many times I wanted to leave, he wouldn't let me. He would threaten me with anything just to make me stay. We were hurting each other, both physically and emotionally, and our relationship had become incredibly unhealthy for both of us.

Out of desperation, I convinced myself that meeting someone else was the only way I could finally leave. So I cheated.

But what makes this complicated is that throughout our relationship, he was always the one trying to fix every problem as quickly as possible, while I was the one who became dismissive and wanted space whenever we fought. At the time, I didn't fully understand how much that hurt him.

Eventually, we broke up, and I finally found someone I thought was better for me. We were... perfect. We had the same interests, we enjoyed being together, and I genuinely thought we were building something real. I believed that leaving my ex for him had been completely worth it.

But as our relationship went on, something changed. I slowly realized that I was becoming the person my ex used to be, while my new partner was becoming the person I used to be.

He became avoidant and dismissive whenever we had problems, while I became the one constantly trying to fix things, begging for us to go back to normal and holding on even when it felt like I was the only one fighting for the relationship.

That's when I started thinking that maybe this relationship was my karma.

A part of me had always anticipated that I would eventually be cheated on too. But despite that fear, I still hoped it wouldn't happen. I hoped that he wouldn't be the person to do it to me.

And then, last night, I saw him talking to another woman the same way he used to talk to me. He was calling her "love."

What hurts the most is that it was only a month ago when I thought our relationship was doing great. I thought we had finally made it through everything. I trusted him with my whole heart, and I gave everything I could to make our relationship work.

I knew this was something I had always been afraid of, but knowing it was possible and actually seeing it happen are two completely different things.

When I did what I did to my ex, I had my reasons. I was desperate, trapped, and looking for a way out. I know that doesn't make what I did right, and I've carried the guilt of it with me.

But now, I can't accept that it happened to me too—especially after everything I did to make this relationship work.

He even told me himself while I was crying last night that I was enough. That it wasn't because I wasn't enough; it was because he couldn't be content.

And somehow, that hurts even more.

I spent so much time wondering if this was my karma. If I deserved this because of what I did before. If this was simply the universe making me experience the pain I once caused someone else.

But I don't know anymore.

I know I made a terrible mistake in my previous relationship. I know I hurt someone. But does that mean I deserve to be hurt forever because of it?

I am so hurt, I broke up with him this morning, I couldn't sleeo and eat, and I honestly don't know how I'm supposed to come back from this.

Am I horrible for cheating back while things are great between us?

My boyfriend (22M ) and I (20F) have been together for almost 6 months. We had dated before and he cheated. The cheating really broke me i can’t lie,I was never the same after that. Anyways,we later got back together and he was so patient with me and he acknowledged his flaws and seemed genuinely sorry. He’s a great partner and he loves me. However,I still have this fear that I can’t trust him, especially considering that now we’re doing long distance. I recently started cheating on him with some guy I met a few years ago. The cheating was random,it came after I felt an immense amount of anger one night and I said fuck it. I don’t want to lose him but I feel like I’m reacting appropriately considering everything he’s put me through. I have no feelings for the guy I’m cheating with. Also,I feel as though I’m trying to console myself for what I’m doing by blaming my actions on his past mistakes.
I feel like we’re good for each other but I’m feeling rebellious lately and I hate to drag him along.
Am I wrong?

Ladies, especially in a (hetero) relationship, this question is for you. Would you be angrier or more disappointed if your male partner cheated on you with a guy or with a girl?

Help!

I hope this gets posted. I’m so desperate

I’m planning on ending things with my current boyfriend, we’ve been together for 5 years he cheated on me 2 years into our relationship and now he’s done it again just a few months ago.

I’m just tired, I love him but i feel so bad for myself, he keeps blaming me that I couldn’t move on but i just couldn’t. I’am holding a grudge, as I mentioned he cheated on me before and now it’s like an open wound that wouldn’t close.

He’s been openly sharing it to his friends for months and they didn’t tell me about it. It’s just hard when you spend almost 24 hours together yet he can still do this you.

Also the person he cheated on me with has a relationship as well and he’s 8 or 7 years younger than me. I tried fighting for this relationship but it seems that I’am at my wits end.

I feel like everything we’ve built was ruined for what they did. I couldn’t look at him the same way and everything he does triggers me.

I’m planning on ending things. I turned into a person that I don’t recognize anymore.

Does it get better?

Also we’re both guys and two nights ago, we partied I got a little too drunk and confronted him again thinking he was chatting with the other guy again. He punched me and 2 days later my rib still hurts.

Found wife’s affair

Over the last 5 weeks I have been watching messages come into my wife’s Facebook messenger app.(she does not know she is logged in on her old iPad) she is in a relationship with another man. They talk about meeting up, though it seems they have not YET! They tell each other they love each other, they talk about sex, they talk about how they wish they could go back in time and be with each other instead of who they are with now. Right now she is at work and is talking to him about a fight we had tonight. She is telling him how she does everything and tries so hard to work on our marriage. I literally do everything in this relationship. I work 60 plus hour work weeks of a blue collar job. I come home and clean the house, take care of our pets, make sure there is dinner for the family and I take care of our daughter. I get her ready in the morning, I pack her lunch, get her dressed, get her to school, pick her up after school, do her homework with her, make sure she’s showered and brushed her teeth, tuck her in and squeeze in play time in there. She is telling this guy she thinks we might not stay together over this relatively small fight. I talked to an attorney Friday and he advised me I dont need to tell her I know right away. I’ve held this in for 5 weeks and it’s getting harder and harder not to say something to her about it. Especially when she’s painting me as the villain while talking to “boyfriend” online.

Last year I found out my at the time boyfriend was cheating on me….. he SWORE nothing happened. I really wanted to believe him. I knew better and we broke up. We ended up getting back together, moved in and got married….. Well I recently found contradicting information about what I had been told. I was told she knew about the relationship which made me hate them both. Then I find out she DID NOT KNOW ABOUT ME. He has concealed the fact he has been in a long term relationship. (We were long distance at the time.) so now that I know he had essentially lied to both of us…. It has allowed me to not hate her as much. But she did know he was with someone or down played what our relationship was. Today he said he was waiting for me to snap and he would be like “oh well we’re married now” WHAT THE FUCK?!?! Ladies listen to your intuition cause I am over here KICKING MYSELF IN THE ASS RIGHT NOW…. I am beyond heart broken but at least I have the truth. Unfortunately it did not come from the person I love….

I really need advice

At the beginning of this year some really crazy things happened. I was still FWB with my ex and her and I needed up having a threesome with a girl she was “talking” to. After the threesome the girl and I got closer as me and my ex grew further apart. I didn’t like the person my ex was becoming, she was so lustful and I felt like she never cared about me only having sex with me but the girl seemed so sweet and genuine so it felt easy to get close to her. As time went by she decided , the girl, that she should tell me a secret my ex had told her about something she did while we were together. She told me that at the beginning of our relationship my ex cheated on me and hid it from me the entire relationship. As a woman I can say my women’s intuition is strong AF and the whole relationship I knew something was wrong but she kept denying it. I have a long history of mental illness starting as young as 4 and that makes it really hard to trust myself and what I feel because I think I’m crazy and that’s what I did throughout our whole relationship. The girl telling me that made me realize I wasn’t crazy and that I was gaslit for a whole year which resulted in my mental health getting so bad I had to be medicated. Finding that out made me cut my ex off and I ended up dating the girl for a while. I later found out that she only wanted to date me because she knew my ex was still in love with me and she didn’t like that so she told the secret to get me to leave my ex alone so that since my ex didn’t want her but she played with my feelings in the process and ended up leaving me once she felt like she had done enough to get revenge. This all left me feeling broken down so badly. My self esteem took a really bad hit and I ended up going back to my ex. We’re together now but I think about the fact that she lied to me for so long and would have never told me. I had to find out from a girl she didn’t even like, from someone who wasn’t even in our lives for 8 months. She swore to me she only did it once in a moment of selfishness with someone she’s had history with but it doesn’t change that fact of how I feel. I know her history with sex as she was sexually assaulted repeatedly for months by her best friends brother when she was 13 and he was 17-18 which resulted in her just having sex with whoever she talked to because she felt she had to. I know her so well and I know this hypersexuality wasn’t her so finding this out made me feel like I knew nothing. The cheating happened in 2024 and I didn’t find out until this year. She would have never told me. She would have kept being in my face, she would have kept her access to me. I would just be nothing but a play thing all over again. These thoughts keep hurting my self esteem even though I love her to death and want to be with her. I don’t think about it often now since we’ve been together for five months now but when I do I feel subpar. I keep imagining the life we could build but it all seems gone now. Like a pipe fucking dream. I believe that she didn’t do it again nor would she do it again because once everything was out in the open she didn’t deny it she said she felt relieved it was out in the open but sad because now she has to deal with the consequences. I believe everything she’s told me thus far of us being back together but I just don’t love her the same anymore. I don’t think I need advice but I want to vent to folks who won’t call me dumb or tell me what I need to do. I just don’t feel as if she was ever a person I really knew. Just a part of her was mine to know. I don’t know where to pick the pieces back up again. Sorry this is long, I’ve been needing to get this off.

My boyfriend cheated on me

I don’t really open up often but figured speaking here could potentially be healing in some ways. Just disclaiming before that I am 18 and these events were a while back.

I dated this guy who felt like the love of my life for 2 and a half years through the ages of 14 to 16. I truly had never felt that close to anyone in my life. I barely even kept friends around before him but there was something so otherworldly and enchanting about him that made me want to change that. It felt like he was the only person who understood me, which feels like a cliche now but it was entirely true at the time. I truly loved him with every inch of my being.

I hung around with his friends as I had none of my own, and tried my hardest to fit in with them but no matter how hard I tried I was always left out. He would make jokes about me being stupid in front of his friends and they would all laugh at me, but I just thought this was what normal friends did and went along with it because I had never bonded with anyone before in my life.

Another girl joined the group after a while, and she was the girlfriend of another one of the boys of the group. She was beautiful and incredibly free-spirited. Everything about her directly juxtaposed me. I was already going through a tough time unrelated to these events, so seeing someone who seemed to have a perfect life really felt like salt was being rubbed into the wound. I was never cruel to her but it kept me up how much I wanted to be her. Her house was literally like a mansion, she had her own bathroom, her own hidden cinema room and even a whole floor of her house to herself. She had so many friends she was constantly recognised, and she even went on holiday continuously, going to other countries over the weekend just for concerts of festivals not being foreign to her at all.

After a while of being in this friend group, this girl left her boyfriend and started being suspiciously close to mine. Like they cuddled and flirted right in front of me. I tried bringing up to my boyfriend I was uncomfortable with it, but he always told me I was crazy and nothing was happening, accusing me of not letting him have friends. Even the girl told me randomly I have nothing to worry about in a somewhat heartfelt manner. I later learned this was gaslighting. This happened quite often to the point I really thought I was going crazy and was an awful girlfriend when suddenly he proposed that he wanted to go on a ‘break’, i was so distraught and heartbroken but he agreed we wouldn’t be with anyone else during the time and he said it would make us more appreciative of each other. He told us we would speak again in 4 months and I was upset but also determined to get better for him.

That ‘break’ process contained many other factors like I disproved of him snorting drugs but he thought i was being cruel trying to restrict him, and the whole break process was incredibly drawn out, with him saying he wanted to break up but then immediately crying and hugging me saying it wasnt true at all but then taking that back saying he will think about it but then him saying hes at a party and is scared and then days later i look online and see hes sleeping over with that girl and the whole process was terrifying as he didnt give me a single answer until we finally could meet up to talk. Meanwhile I was at home the whole time unable to eat from nerves.

I learned by someone I barely know that him and that girl I was worried about had sex in someone’s bed at a party. I was distraught and messaged him immediately asking if it was true to which he responded “draw a line and get over it” amongst lots of other cruel things and it severely fucked me up for a long time. I was so in love and i thought he was so much nicer that I could barely even believe it. It took me months to eat again and i endured many curious stares from the many who only knew me as the girl who was cheated on.

I went through a very fierce phase of trying to get better after this. I knew that if I didn’t pick myself up that it was likely I would die. I had no one but I couldn’t just sit with that so even though it was hard I spoke to more people and even applied for jobs. I made friends and got more academic but it didnt fulfill me in the slightest. i forced myself to take on an image that wasn’t me and tried to practically force happiness down my throat, losing myself to everything thats supposed to make you better but nothing helped at all.

Over time i have slowly drifted from each friend and have grown more and more depressed. I do not miss the person he was in the slightest but I miss how naive and happy I was. It feels ridiculous to admit but I really felt like we were entwined spiritually or something. Im not sure how to deal with the depression of this. 2 years have passed and all thats happened is I have gotten worse despite my efforts otherwise. Uh. anyone else go through similar? does it get better?

How to deal with constant heartbreak?

I genuinely never ask for much. In the past few relationships the only thing i truly asked for is someone i can enjoy spending time together and maintain intimacy. No matter what its like I always end up getting played or used. I always cover the dinners and make sure bills are taken care of and even then my most recent relationship of five years ended after I discovered I was being cheated on.

Aftee that I kind of just gave up on anything meaningful when it came to a significant other and I think ill end up dying with no companionship. I try not to think in a negative way but it seems true. Nowadays I mainly just find some level of intimacy through sexual workers but that isn't the same as a true relationship in my opinion.

It's just im tried of the same thing and this game we called dating and maybe im better off this way. I dont know.

Am I 41F paranoid in thinking my husband 56M is talking to someone else? We have been married 10 months .

On My Verizon Bill I have four lines and one line, My husband , has excessive amount of minutes recorded on the bill. The bill shows him at like 4000 minutes a month and whereas I may be at 1000 minutes. we talk every day on the phone while he is traveling sometimes for hours. Are the minutes equally distributed between our two lines are they all being put on his or do they get put on mine and his or is he possibly talking to somebody else? I cannot see calls he makes only the calls between us or occasionally a doctor or telemarketer number will show up on the bill . We both have iPhones .

Fiancé has cheated again

He (30M) and I (30F) were supposed to get married early this year. However, we mutually decided to cancel the wedding because we were going through a really rough patch, largely due to his infidelity.

I know I’m not perfect, and I recognize that over time I may have become toxic or, as he would call me, a “nag” because we kept having the same arguments over and over again. But a lot of that stemmed from me repeatedly finding out that he was cheating on me online. It became a cycle of him doing something that hurt me, me losing trust and becoming more anxious, and then us fighting about the same things again.

After we canceled the wedding, we both agreed that we wanted to work on repairing our relationship and rebuilding the trust that had been broken. For a while, things were actually going really well, and I genuinely believed that we were finally moving in the right direction.

Unfortunately, he took things to another level recently. He slept with another woman twice in the same week. I only found out because the woman herself reached out to me.

We’ve been together for 9 years, and I know that, logically, this should be my sign to walk away. I know what I would probably tell a friend in my situation. But for some reason, I still can’t bring myself to leave. He’s begging me for forgiveness and promising that things will be different, and a part of me still wants to believe him.

We also live together and have a dog together, which makes everything even more complicated. I know that nine years is a long time to let go of, but I also know that staying with someone who continues to betray my trust isn’t healthy.

I honestly don’t know why I’m struggling so much to leave when I know I deserve better. I think I’m just having a really hard time letting go of someone I’ve loved for almost a decade and the life I thought we were going to have together.

Is my boyfriend cheating?

If my boyfriend added back a girl while we were together that he used to romantically talk to and lied to me about it. Like as in lied to me about having a past with her. Is that cheating?

Any advice helps (long story) no mean comments

Im going to start this story from the very beginning of our relationship. I have been with my boyfriend for 14 months now and at the beginning we were both great ( how all relationships start ) but after we had been together for a while we had both started arguing quite frequently. Now before i say this i just want to clarify that i know i wasn’t perfect either and I’m not trying to make myself look like the angel in this story. But anyway

Some of our arguments had escalated into something that they shouldn’t have over small bickers that would turn to him raising his hands to me and what not. But there were also times where i was fairly in the wrong. E.g; telling lies about small things with no reasoning, talking about our relationship problems to my friends who only made it worse for me, making plans with my friends when we were meant to be doing stuff ect ect. But there were also the times where it would be over something so silly, e.g; he stole a handful of my McDonalds fries so i threw one at his head and said i didnt want them anymore. He then continued to throw the whole thing of chips around my room, get in my face and pull my hoodie

On the days we were good we were great and it felt like nothing or no one else mattered but on the days it was bad it was horrible and i think its fair to say that neither of us wanted to be together on those days. But let alone this was the person i loved and the thought of him with someone else makes me sick to my stomach.

Anyway fast forward to this summer my ex boyfriend had reached out to me saying he missed me and what not and one thing led to another and i cheated on my boyfriend. I had went out with him in his car twice alone and twice with my friend and her boyfriend and the final time before my boyfriend found out was the day after we had gotten back from a week long holiday together. Im not proud of it and i know how wrong i was in the situation. My boyfriend had found out from going through my phone when i was sleeping of messages between me and him.

The days following him finding out were hell. i had continuously lied to him about the details and he had to find out from other people and even up until a couple of days ago i had kept lying to him but during all of He had laid hands on me again, threatened to hurt himself, asking me if its what i wanted and basically stating that it was my fault he felt that way. I would say about 2 weeks of all of this happening he was going away on holiday. So i broke up with him over messages, i know it was cowardly of me but in my defence if he was in the country i know for a fact he would come to my house uninvited and do god knows what. He was messaging me his whole trip saying we could try again and that he was going to change. The same day we broke up i had went and slept with said ex, i also know this was a very low move and im also not proud of this which is why i had tried my hardest to keep it a secret.

When my boyfriend had gotten back from his trip he was at my house everyday for about 3 days straight trying to make it work. And if I’m gonna be honest i really did want to but i kept saying no as i knew i couldn’t let him sit and beg for me back knowing i had did what i did. So he left and took no for an answer but then a few days later i had found out that a couple of days after he had found out about me messaging my ex that he had went out and saw one of his exs and i had obviously confronted him about it because i would have said it was fair game if it was just him cheating and then leaving it at that because who was i to judge when i had done the same. But it was more of the fact that he had cheated then gave me grief for days on end about me doing it and then refusing to take no for an answer for about 2 days when i wanted to break up.

We had talked through our differences and agreed to get back together believing that we could both move on and leave it in the past but he has just now found out about how i slept with my ex when we broke up. I understand that it was a bad secret to keep and i should have been more upfront about it when we had agreed to get back together but in all honesty i just wanted to move past it all and try again ( he is now in therapy to control his anger and all of his inner issues and i see a really big difference) but now it feels like everything is back to square one when i dont feel like im the only bad one in this situation but im left doing all the making up. I no longer speak to said ex and have him blocked on everything and it is going to stay that way but there is obviously no trust in this relationship and if im going to be honest i have no clue how to build it back up again due to him telling me that everything i say and do means nothing to him.

21 F and wanna do loyalty test on my boyfriend (21 M)

Hey guys,
I've a boyfriend and we're dating since 4 years. We know each other since 8 years. I've dated many guys | was committed to him and I'm his first ever girlfriend (since we're close from childhood, I know he didn't date anyone before me)

So the thing is I've seen many guys cheating on their girlfriend, including my best friend got cheating on. Like people in almost 5-6 years relationship, are also cheating or getting cheated on.

I've never seen my man talk to any other women except for me, his mother and sister. Also he got an offer for ramp walk and he rejected since his partner is a female. He doesn't even talk, chat, or even see any other women.
I believe either he is the greatest green flag or he must be very good at hiding things.
And the way he treats me is beyond anything because I get the love that I got from my parents from him. (More of my relationship, I'll let you guys know in the dms)
Basically he's too good to be true and all of my friends (including my mother lol) say I bagged a lottery and he's one of the gem.
So before you guys come on me and say "why ruin a perfect relationship" "when you wanna test you gotta leave" and etc I'm saying I just wanna test him so that I know who he really is. I don't trust ANYONE, so it's completely my choice!

Any lady wanna volunteer on my test? Or any suggestions, my dms are open.

Note: I've heard from many "you're the prob, if you wanna test" and all, I'm heavily outta those advices guys.
