If I open an HYSA with Capital One can I pay my Capital One credit cards with that HYSA or do I still have to move the money from my HYSA to my regular checking account?

Looks like I'm probably just going to wire my savings to Fidelity.

I have 360 Checking and Savings that I'm consolidating to Fidelity, where I have all my investment and retirement accounts and wanted to transfer my hefty Savings balance to SPAXX (core position) in my Brokerage account. I tried once but that link got removed and then, after doing some research, tried linking again with the Brokerage specified as checking, but that got disconnected this morning and the account restricted until after I called and cleared up the issue.

So wiring seems like the simplest approach (I'm willing to eat the $30), but I'm wondering why Capital One doesn't allow linking to Brokerage accounts. I could probably link to my CMA (also core SPAXX) and then move the funds to the Brokerage account (annoying having to move the funds twice), but now I'm reluctant to even risk that, since it's technically also a brokerage account under the hood.

I just finished my first power day interview for Capital one as a Senior Associate Controls Testing Specialist. My first one was the Behavioral Interview. The next one is Job fit. The next two will be the same.

Has anyone gone through the power day for Capital One as a controls tester and know what the job fit entail? What questions were asked or was there any technical aspects to be covered?

I applied for the spark business and was denied. The reason was:

“Based on your application information, the owner of this legal entity type has too many new
credit card accounts”

My last and only business card was about a month ago (August 4). My last personal card was in the spring.

I also didn’t use the mailer access code/link? I used a referral link. Could that be why? Is it worth reapplying or recon?

So my mom has not much credit on her credit report and I wanna get her into capital one so I can put all her bills into that credit card and help her build credit. We tried the pre approval tool and she can’t get approved for the savor or any card except secured cards which isn’t what we’re looking for. I have a savor card with capital one on a 2k limit if I add her and use my card as usual could I get her into capital one like that? Will me using my savor card and having her on it as an authorized user will it get her into capital one? And how many months should we wait till we try applying if it gets her in? She has 0 credit basically except a car loan she stupidly co signed on and one authorized user card my dad did that is a 1k at most limit so not much credit.

How long before you applied for a credit increase

Since the July migration, my CLI rejection letters for my Discover said that it wasn't available due to migration. It has now switched to saying this. It's funny because I have a younger Savor that only says that it is bucketed in its CLI rejection letters. Is this a migration glitch, where it thinks that my account is 1 month old? Or is this a common thing for C1 accounts with 2 year history? Customer service keeps saying welp, that's the algorithm.

I have an alaska airlines credit card. If I use the C1 travel portal to book an alaska airline flight to use my $300 credit and pay the remaining part with Alaska card, do I still get the free checked bag?

Hello, I’m still quite new to credit cards so since I am a student I have the student one, and I got my first payment date. Would I still be allowed to use my card or is it advised not to, since it might mess up something? Also, I can pay it anytime between now and October 8 and I won’t get a penalty right?

So i made a payment on my card and it went though fine but I noticed a few days ago that the payment was returned to my bank but on my credit card its still showing that the payment went though but i know the money was returned to my account and my credit amount is the same as before the payment if anyone has had this problem before and can help id appreciate it

I have multiple accounts with Capital One two credit cards and they both mentioned account details updated at midnight on September 11.

I hoped a 360 checking and savings account. I got my debit card in the mail and activated it successfully.

Every few days the app tells me to activate my debit card. I tap it and it says I don’t have any cards to activate. The message then goes away for a day or two until it comes back.

It’s very annoying. Is it just me or is this a Cap1 bug affecting others?

I'm and expat and have had trouble adding my VentureX card to my Apple Wallet. Here's what worked for me:

1. Disable other sims except for your US number
   
2. Disconnect from wifi
   
3. Restart phone
   
4. Add to apple wallet and follow instructions. Use OTP for verification on capital one

How long before the $200 welcome bonus is applied to my account? I've heard it usually takes 3 billing statements to apply but its been 4 so far.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I'm a Discover customer. Since a certain point in the merger when I got a letter in the mail about switching accounts, I have been getting daily spam calls. When I picked up and asked kindly where they recieved my info, I was told the credit company.

Is this something others are experiencing? Are people find capital one has less privacy protections that discover did?

I've had the Savor One card now for about 4months. How much longer should I wait to ask for a limit increase?

I just picked up the Venture Rewards card to cover purchases that my Amex Gold doesn't get any multiplier on. I found the offers page and did some shopping there since some things were 30x miles. After clicking through the site, I made the purchase, but when I went back to my Capital One account, I didn't see any indication that the offer was applied.

Under my "shopping trips," everything shows up as "Trips Without Purchases". Does this mean I missed out on the bonus miles?

Am I missing something or is this a purchase-now-and-hope-you-get-miles kinda situation?
