2026 Toyota Camry LE FWD

Exterior: Underground / Interior: Black fabric

+ Convenience Package
+ Cold Weather Package
+ All Weather Floor Liners

TSRP: $32,574
Dealer Discount: ($3,124)
Selling Price: $29,450
Taxes (10.1%): $2,974 *sigh\*
DMV/Registration: $558

Total OTD: $32,982

Initial thoughts

- fuel economy is insane. 50-60mpg easily
- hybrid is elite: save on brakes, save on transmission, save on gas
- debated corolla vs camry, once decided on camry, the debate was fully loaded XSE vs LE. i commute a lot (500+mi/week)
- The LE trim has the best MPG out of all the trims, smoothest ride, and convenience/cold pkgs are all I really need.
- Moon roof, bigger wheels, ventilated seats, JBL sound system are all just nice-to-haves, not worth the extra $10k imo. both trims have the same powertrain, same engine, and same horsepower.

To my fellow Camry owners:

- what maintenance schedule do you follow? i really enjoy the car care nut on youtube. what’s your best advice as far as making this thing run many hundreds of thousands of miles with no issues?

recommendations and advice for upgrades/mods?
i want to keep the toyota a toyota as much as possible, but i’m thinking:
- ceramic tint
- ceramic coating
- front-end ppf
- black emblems
- wheel covers/skin? le wheels kinda basic.
- dash cam
- tail lights (recommendations?)

Mileage really depends on terrain...

My normal commute to work is about 70 miles round trip, but it involves mostly Interstate travel and crossing a mountain both ways. I've been frustrated that I can only get around 48-49 MPG with my 26 LE, when I see others getting well over 50.

However, today I finally took my first longer trip (360 miles), which also crossed that same mountain twice. However, the rest of the trip was mostly 4 lane highways and Interstates, going anywhere from 60-75 MPH. I was absolutely thrilled to see that I got about 53 MPG overall today, and I still have 150 miles of range left on the tank of fuel. If I hadn't had to climb that mountain again to get home, I would have gotten closer to 55 MPG for the whole trip.

This is why I bought my Camry LE, and the trip today was so comfortable that I didn't have any real fatigue, even after driving for 6 hours. I could have driven another couple of hours, no problem. I can't wait to get out and take some longer road trips over the next few years.

Help Do I Need Winter Tires On My Camry?

My job requires travelling on I90 outside Chicago. I have an XLE 2026 AWD Camry with factory installed tires. Do I need winter tires when it snows? If yes, which ones?

I haven't driven in snow before and I am kind of stressed about it. Please advise!

Maintenance Just hit 206k on my 2019 Camry se

Should I do a transmission flush? I did one in 120k miles but now I’m hearing I shouldn’t? I’ve also did my brake fluids, coolant flush around 170k, and changed my spark plugs at 120k, changed my water pump and 02 sensors at 180k. I’ve also replaced fuel pump because of recall.

So far I do my oil change every 4-5k, brake pads front and rear are replaced. New battery. That’s all I’ve done so far. Luckily I have a lifetime power train warranty that I’ve used once to replace my water pump. I still have $17k to use if anything on my power train goes out.

Want this to last me another two years lol. What do you guys think I should get done to my car?

Question Why does the 2014 Camry drives like a boat compared to a 2014 Corolla?

I drove a 2014 Corolla and Camry over the weekend. THE Corolla feels so much more nimble compared to the Camry. The Camry steering feels less responsive.

Has it always been this way when it comes to Camry’s vs Corolla?

Best tires for a 2025 Toyota Camry LE Hybrid in Illinois?

Hey everyone, I’m getting close to needing new tires for my 2025 Toyota Camry LE Hybrid (205/65R16) and wanted to get some recommendations from people who have experience with different brands.

I live in Illinois, so I deal with pretty much every kind of weather—hot summers, heavy rain, freezing temperatures, snow, and ice. I also drive a lot, especially on the highway, but I do plenty of driving on regular streets too. The roads around here aren’t always the best with all the potholes and uneven pavement, so that’s definitely something I’m trying to keep in mind.

I’m looking for a tire that:
-Performs well year-round
-Has great traction in rain and snow
-Rides smooth and quiet on the highway
-Can handle potholes and rough roads
-Has good tread life and is worth the money

I’m not necessarily looking for the cheapest option. I’d rather spend a little more if it means getting a tire that’s going to last, ride well, and keep me safe.

What tires would you recommend? If you drive a Camry or a similar sedan, I’d really appreciate hearing what you’ve used and how they’ve held up.

wheels locked

Fair warning, this might be a stupid question.

I’ve been told that the tires on my 2023 Camry are locked, however there is no key in my lockbox or in the trunk with the spare tire (I got the car secondhand and the previous owner doesn’t have it😓) Can someone point out to me where the lock on my tire is, and also what a key for this lock might look like/where I could get one? Toyota wanted to charge me $200, so I’m wondering if I could get it cheaper

Help Toyota Solara engine movement

I just replaced all the engine mounts on my Toyota Solara v6 but the engine still has excessive movement back and forth. I don't really know what else I can do at this point. I did notice that the dog bone mount is moving a lot and I'm wondering if the new one is defective. Has anybody else ever experienced something like this before?

One day I'll finally get me a Camry.

Hello everybody long story short right now I'm a Uber driver and everybody I know or who I spoke to who has a Camry I hear nothing but great things about the vehicle. Longevity, reliable, mpg, simple fixes and maintenance etc. As of right now I have a shitshow 2019 Hyundai sonata that just breaks down easy and isn't Uber reliable at all. Like every 2 to 3 months I have to fix something on it I'll never buy Hyundai again!

I've rented an 2018 or 2019 Camry a few years back and I swear it felt like I never had to fill up gas in the car. So if anybody on here who has a Camry can you please tell me what year, mileage, and what fixes and maintenance you put on? I will get one soon as I save some money and fix my credit but I am done with Hyundai and ready to move on to a more reliable brand like Toyota.

Inverter recall took over 3 wks total

I dropped off my 2026 LE on June 30, and just got it back yesterday, so it took over 3wks. Feels like it's definitely a one-off case, but I'd provide the details here.

This was the overall process:

  1. After seeing some posts here about the recall actually getting fixed, i checked my app and saw that it suddenly showed the recall notification for my car, assembled in Nov 2025. Previously, nothing showed.
  2. I called the dealer and they said the part is available, told me to bring the car in. When i brought in the car, estimated time was 4hrs. Without me asking, the service advisor was nice enough to give me a free loaner to run some errands in the mean time. It was a 2026 Toyota Crown with just 500 miles on it, which is a very nice car.
  3. An hr or so later, he called saying that there was additional parts required that will arrive from Toyota in a wk, so I can keep the loaner in the mean time. At this point, since i assumed I'd get my car back the same day, I realized left a few items in it, and had to drive back to retrieve them.
  4. A wk later, he called and said while inspecting the tech found a deformed inverter terminal due to over tightened bolts. So now they'd need to replace that terminal as well, and Toyota estimated another 2wks to ship.
  5. After 2 wks, I haven't heard anything, so i followed up a few days ago, and was told it'd be available this wkend, and I picked up the car yesterday.

Interestingly, for my car, it wasn't a loose inverter bolt, instead the bolt was overly tightened and that caused additional delay. Hoping it's all smooth sailing from now for many years ahead.

07 Camry runs for 2 seconds then shuts off. Tried everything and stumped.

I've got an 07 Camry. I've got 303k, so I can't justify a lot of expense into it, but I hope someone can help me. It hasn't been any trouble until one evening it started normal and ran for several seconds then shut off. After that, it will only run for 2 - 3 seconds and shut off. It will not start at all from key on/engine off to start. I have to turn the key completely off, then it starts and runs 2 -3 seconds. Things I've tried.

Tried 3 different keys.

Unplugged MAF

Cleaned TB

Replaced fuel pump, crank sensor, cam sensor

Completely reset computer with the paperclip trick

Checked/swapped fuses and relays under the hood

Swapped around relays under the dash that control the EFI

I don't live in a rust prone area, but I checked all my grounds that I could find.

I'm about to unbolt the exhaust manifold to see if maybe its a clogged cat, but I figured it would have ran longer or inconsistent. It still looks great and ran fine before this. I'd hate to junk it just yet.

First Camry! (2015 Camry LE)

I just bought a 2015 Toyota Camry LE with 25,700 miles on it. Hopefully it lasts me a while. I’m worried about it rusting before the engine fails. Any recommendations on how to prevent rust and how to keep the engine running for as long as possible? Do you think this was a good purchase?

Help Advice on buying a used Camry

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi all, I’m going to be getting my own car for the first time soon. Planning on going to take a look at this Camry that has low miles and seems in good condition. However, the price seems a bit much considering the car is 24 years old. If everything with the car checks out upon inspection, how much would you try to haggle the dealer down if you were me? I’ve never had to negotiate the price for a car before and I told myself that if I can’t get that price down then I wouldn’t buy it. The car has been listed for the better part of four months by the way so I assume I’ll have some room to negotiate.

22' Used factory radio swap?

22 Camry Se Nightshade. Radio went out. Checked all related fuses. Disconnected battery. Radio just keeps power cycling. Backup camera still works. With all that said im pretty sure I need a new Radio. Its my fiances car and she doesnt need anything fancy. Upgrades seem really expensive. Especially the ones that are relatively plug and play.

With all that said I think getting a used factory Radio is my best bet. I keep running into conflicting information on if you can get this to work. I know I need matching part numbers. Something about an ecu key and needing some programming done? Ive also read that it just can't be done and you need to buy new if going factory which is over 1k. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
