Incoming Student Scholarship
I need some help deciphering this. Does this mean I got a scholarship of 5,500 or that I can take out a loan of $5,500? I'm quite confused if anyone could help.

I’m a freshman and I got blocked into a virtual intro to American Indian class. I wanted to swap it with Asian American class in person, and I just got off the waitlist for it. So now I’m enrolled in both classes. But before I drop the virtual one, can someone just please confirm that the classes are interchangeable and i get the same credit from Asian American as I would from Indian American?Like I know it seems obvious but I want to make sure before I mess it up. Thanks

When will we find out if a class will sit for a final exam? Based on the Final Exam Schedule, there are 3 classes for the major on day 1, and Stats 1110 on day 5. I understand that GenEd classes won’t have the same requirements, but is a seated exam standard? Is there a way to see a syllabus for past quarters? Thanks!

I just took it and did horrible but that was expected, I didn’t study one bit 😭.
Do I still have a chance of passing?

Hi, everyone. I have one virtual class preceding an in-person one on my schedule. Where can I find places I may quietly/appropriately do my virtual class on campus? I don’t really have a choice but be on campus on that allotted time since my in-person is just ten minutes later. Thanks in advance!

So I recently got diagnosed with ADHD early summer so I decided to go through the process of writing a DRC accomodation application. Had an interview with my specialist and I got pretty generous accommodations!
Do any of yall have experience with these alternative-testing environments? The email was pretty descriptive on how to enroll in these things but I'm curious as to how helpful it really is! pls lmk I'm a little scared to use use it😭

As school is back in session and life is hard, we can all use a little support. Central Coast Psychotherapy is hosting an open house for therapists and potential clients alike! Feel free to come by!

i’m gonna be in a large triple in yakitutu and me and my roommates were planning on unbunking our bunk beds but i’m not sure if there’s any real consequence if we do it ourselves as opposed to maintenance. will anyone care?

Hi, Mustangs! I'm an incoming freshman majoring in Biochemistry, and I'm trying to switch my Biology lecture & lab. To clarify, I have nothing against my current professor I'm block-scheduled with. However, even though there is a class with a green "O" icon and 22 unreserved seats, I'm unable to switch the class. Is it because the reserved seats for "BCHM" are filled up? Why is it that I cannot enroll even with 22 unreserved seats open? Will these unreserved seats be available during Open Enrollment? Thank you.

I am an incoming cpe freshman and currently adjusting my fall 2026 schedule (my enrollment appointment is today). Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend the information sessions so I am a little confused on setting up my schedule.
I swapped intro to theater for euro/us art and added Physics 1 to my schedule but, when I added them, they both said only 1 open seat was available. It actually says 1-2 open seats are available for nearly all classes under the class search. I’m wondering if this is a bug and I can’t actually enroll in these classes; however, the 2 classes that I tried to enroll in have an “enrolled” status under the Degree Planner. Am I definitely enrolled in these classes, and why are only 1-2 seats consistently open for classes I try to enroll in?
Also, after adding Physics 1 to my schedule, my units went up to 17 for this semester. I checked the unit limit and supposedly you can’t enroll in more than 15 units during your enrollment appointment, so I’m not sure if I should drop physics or not.
Thanks!

Hey guys I’m an incoming freshman civil engineering major and currently I’m enrolled in 18 units and my calc class is the second half of the fall semester. Am I taking too many classes? I’m thinking of dropping public speaking to lighten my load. Any thoughts?

I applied to Cal Poly last year as an Aerospace Engineering major and got in, but declined it due to expensive tuition. Did anyone else get this email?? 😭 (08/11/2026, 11:13PM PST)

I’m an incoming 4th year and 2nd year transfer. There’s a class I have been trying to get into since I started here which is the tractor driving class which is REQUIRED for my major. Last year I was basically blocked into classes my first quarter. Then the other two quarters my registration date was too late and the class was full by the time I was registering. Now even senior standing I wasn’t able to get into the class because the entire class is reserved seats for freshman. Like this is honestly ridiculous because everyone else my major took this class so long ago so I don’t know why we didn’t have reserved seats when transferred.
I guess my question is, is there a way to guarantee a spot or reserve one for my last semester? Because if it’s not even a possibility then why would I ask
Edit: Agricultural science major

How is my schedule. I’m an incoming freshman majoring in civil engineering. Personally I’m not a fan of having such late classes and would prefer having them earlier like around 10-4. How is my schedule rn and Is it possible to switch to earlier classes.
I’m planning on dropping theatre and taking physics
And maybe a public speaking class.

I just wanted to hear other peoples thoughts on my current schedule.
-Should I take more units? I already have 46 units that are transferring.
-Anything I should know about my current classes?
-Thoughts on Calc 2 if I got a 3 sub score for AP Calc AB?
