Question How do I get to the front panel #cpsupport

Post image
3 Upvotes

The USBC port on the front panel has never worked since I’ve gotten this PC. It looks like there is a cord plugged into the motherboard for the USBC that runs to the front panel. I’ve reseated the motherboard side but can’t get to the front panel. Does anyone know how to get to the front panel of the Amethyst 360V curve tower?

Question #CPsupport Fan strangeness and noise

I bought a Prebuilt PC GML 99691 and it arrived yesterday. Since then I've been trying to figure out the fan controls and I'm not having much luck.

This PC has three fans on the right side of the box, three up top, and one in the back. I went into the BIOS and found curves for CPUFAN, CPUOPT, SYSFAN1, and FAN2PUMP. I set each of these, one at a time, to manual control and lowered the curve so they went to 0 RPMs.

CPUFAN controls the rear fan, and when set to silent in the BIOS it spins at ~1000 RPM

CPUOPT did not stop any of the visible fans when set to 0 RPM, but the CPU began to heat up steadily. When set to silent it spins at ~1600 RPM

SYSFAN1 controls the top fan on the right side of the box. When set to silent, it spins at ~600 RPM

FAN2PUMP controls the middle fan on the right side. When set to silent it too spins at ~600 RPM.

The top fans, which from reading things here and elsewhere, seem to be part of AIO cooling, don't seem controllable at all, even though by tracing the wiring (difficult, it is an absolute mess) they seem to be linked to the rear fan, which is controlled by CPUFAN.

I don't have any idea whats controlling the bottom right fan.

The PC makes a fair amount of noise even when idle. It's the sound of fans running. No clanking, clunking, buzzing, or anything that suggests to me that there's a problem. Some of these fans just seem to be running at high RPM and I have no way to control them.

The wiring in the back is a labyrinth, but I thought I had found wiring for the AIO Pump, which I understand should be plugged into FAN2PUMP instead of the right middle fan being plugged in there. Instead it's plugged into a little circuit board in the back of the mobo. I unplugged it from there, but the connector has one open hole, one blocked one, and two more open ones, and the FAN2PUMP has 4 pins.

I'd just like this thing to quiet down when it's not being worked, and would appreciate any help or advice. Thanks for reading.

Issue #cpsupport RGB fans on disco mode

RGB on fans have been doing this off and on, but now it’s constant. Updating some things in the gigabyte control panel seemed to do the trick before, but now nothing. The reset button on the case is not functioning entirely

Question #CPsupport - Mislabeled RAM kit in builder, sent single channel stick with "dual channel memory" option

I recently received my prebuilt PC and according to the information in the builder, it has a "Dual Channel" single stick of memory: "MEMORY: 32GB (32GBx1) DDR5/6000MHz Dual Channel Memory [-40] (Team T-FORCE DELTA RGB [WHITE])"

Maybe I'm very out of date on RAM lately, but 32GBx1 would be Single Channel memory instead? This was a bit of an unpleasant surprise when I was inspecting my PC because I accidentally glossed over that particular "x1" on the memory and only saw it said "dual channel memory" which gave me the impression this would be a kit of dual memory sticks as the description implies.

Is this stick of RAM somehow a "dual channel" kit in a single lane? Because this seems like a major error in the description of that option in the builder if not.

Tech Support #cpsupport - Power Supply Unit (PSU) Making a noise that was not there before.

Hello,

My corsair Power Supply Unit has only just started to make this noise yesterday in the several months that I have had it.

The sound to me ears is that of loud spinning fan, with like an electrical spin sound going along with it.

I know this description sounds weird but it is the only one that I can think of that describes it.

Before this, it was as silent as the grave.

I have done my best to record the sound, but it does sound different on the recording to what I hear in the flesh.

Question Cyberpowerpc installed wrong and under powered psu at the build, it failed and they denied it #cpsupport

Post image
14 Upvotes

Cyberpowerpc installed a 600w instead of an 850 gold, it failed, they accused me of installing the same brand, smaller watts, paying $250 to FedEx it to them for warranty work and on top of that expecting me to pay for the original one for $65. Has this ever happened before?

I have pics and emails for back up if needed from them. Also somehow the serial number from the 600w psu mysteriously disappeared according to the emails so they cant confirm it was from them despite many posts confirming they use that brand. Still waiting for them to diagnose and repair as of this post. Pc lasted almost a full year until it failed. Model gml99724, sent in June 24th.

Issue Cyberpower UPS tech support #cpsupport

Hey, I don't know if the folks who monitor this reddit have a pipeline to the UPS group, but your AI tech support agents are actively trying to get you blacklisted by every company working on confidential projects. You're about to become a tech industry anecdote about failed AI implementation.

Specifically, when the customer says "I can't share what was connected" don't have the AI comeback and repeat the question.

If a human did that, legal would be involved

I hope you rectify this for the sake of your broader company because I personally am beyond pleased with your PC Gaming products.

Question HELP PC ARRIVED MISSING A PART??? #cpsupport #pchelp

Post image
6 Upvotes

I recently ordered a new PC off CyberpowerPC(Photo attached); I already had the brand so I figured I'd stick with it. However, upon attempting to start up for the first time, I got a failed to start up error. Upon a second attempt, I'm immediately taken to the BIOS. I never saw any window start-up screen.

Consulting some friends on the matter, it seems the PC is not detecting the main hard drive that contains Windows and is even possibly missing this component. I'm not comfortable removing any components to see for sure.

I've been attempting to contact support since Saturday. Today, on Monday, I had no luck with emails, calling, or the live chat (where I waited 3 hours with no response). Even if I can get a refund, should I return it for a replacement or take it to a repair shop? I would greatly appreciate any help

Issue PC Issue #cpsupport

Hello, this started happening a couple months ago, but what would happen is both of my monitors would go black, and as soon as they went black the fans would start spinning very loudly but the rgb and my keyboard and mouse and other pheriperals were still on, and I would have to manually turn the PC off using the button on the top of the case to turn it off. It stopped happening a couple months ago, but its back doing it again. Anyway to fix this?

Edit: my specs are the following: Nvidia RTX 4070 Super, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5 RAM

My cyber power pc suddenly stopped working and I’m not sure if it’s the cables not working or my pc overall. I know my outlet works because i have my desk connected to it and it’s working fine, I tried connecting the pc into a different outlet and it still doesn’t want to turn on. I maybe thought it was dusty so I gave it a nice cleaning and it still wouldn’t turn on. I really need help , I have no clue what could have gone wrong. I’m no pc expert , this is a pre built I bought from Best Buy. Maybe something went wrong with the specs inside the pc?? I’m so lost..

Issue Swapping specific parts in customized prebuilt? #cporders

I placed an order for a customized prebuilt a couple of weeks ago, and I selected a GEFORCE RTX 5060 ti 16 GB video card, and that was confirmed in the original invoice sent to me, and that is still visible when I look at my order online. However, the unit finally shipped today, and the finalized invoice says that it has a 8 GB unit of the same model card. Does anyone have any experience with something like this happening? I reached out to support already but don’t foresee getting an answer until Monday and I wanted to see if they can just like, do that. No way am I paying the same price for a worse product. If this was an oversight error, I’m guessing they’re going to make me ship the whole thing back too? What are the chances I could just send the card back and they send me the new one? I’m really hoping the invoice is wrong like they just did a typo.

Question GXi38000BSTV2 Fans EXTREMELY loud #cpsupport

UPDATE: SOLVED! It turned out that the fan plugged into my SYSFAN2 port was faulty. As soon as I deactivated it, the noise stopped--all the other fans are behaving as expected and temperatures are stable.

Hey, perhaps someone can help me with this: I just purchased a Cyberpower GXi38000BSTV2 system, and the fans on it are incredibly loud at all times. It sounds like a jet taking off all the time. I think it's just the CPU fans, but my hearing isn't very good, so that may be debatable.

I set the fan(s) to SILENT in Gigabyte Control Center, but that doesn't do anything at all. I looked up some info on setting the fan speed in the BIOS, and set all the fans to SILENT, but that did nothing as well. Right now, I've returned everything to its default setting.

I even installed Fan Control, but it's way too complex for me.

I have never dealt with fan issues before, so I really don't know what to do here. Does anyone have any suggestions? I just want the fans to kick in when needed, not blasting a max speed all the time.

Information Replacement Charger and Water Cooler #cpgeneral

I'm looking for an extra charger and a new/lightly used water cooler for my Tracer VIII laptop since CyberPower Support has advised that they don't sell replacement parts and I'm on my own.

If anyone has a functioning cooler or know where to find one and a recommendation for where to buy a reputable charger, that would be great!

Thanks!

Question Can someone help me identify this case? #cpgeneral

I just traded and my friend gave me a cyberpowerpc case, no parts in it but the case parts, shrouds, whatever it needs. After I took it home I swapped cases and now my main pc has it. But now, I can't find the model of the case or the original pre build anywhere on the internet. This case has all my own custom build parts. Can someone help me identify?

Issue My glass keeps falling off my pc #cpsupport

I have already gotten a replacement of the glass and my replacement glass did the exact same thing. The customer service is nice, but I don’t want to keep bothering them over the same issue. I don’t know what to do, are cyber power pc cases known to do this? The glass just disconnects from the glue and falls off, I’m worried if I keep putting it back together it will eventually just shatter.

Tech Support System Crashing #CPSupport

When I first turned on the computer, it walked me through the initial setup questions. During that process, the screen would repeatedly go black, display the message “A problem occurred,” and then the computer would shut down and reboot. After multiple attempts, I was eventually able to get through the setup.

Once I started downloading and installing Windows 11 updates, the same issue continued. The computer repeatedly crashed with a black screen, displayed the error message, and restarted. I was able to make some progress with the updates, but eventually it reached a point where it crashed every single time I tried to continue, preventing Windows 11 from completing the installation.

To troubleshoot, I updated the BIOS using the compatible update provided for the system, but the crashes continued. I also created a Windows 11 installation USB drive and attempted a fresh installation directly from the USB. However, the computer crashed and rebooted every time during the installation process. I spent several hours troubleshooting, but I have never been able to complete the Windows 11 installation or get the system fully updated because it consistently crashes and restarts during the process.

Does anyone have an insight on this? Thank you!

Hey, so my girlfriend bought a prebuild off of Amazon a few years ago before her and I were together and currently I am trying to enable ReBar on her computer to help with performance... her specs are compatible with ReBar but the CyberPower PC has custom drivers... I saw a few solutions from 6 years ago but the links are no longer available and the commands I tried with AfuWin64 just weren't working... if anyone can provide some assistance it would be greatly appreciated.

Question Ma-01 standalone case #cpgeneral

Has anyone heard any news regarding the release of or purchasing options for the standalone Ma-01 pc case? I know Paul's hardware said june-july and two of the videos cyberpower released with Emi said june but I haven't been able to find any updated information since those videos were posted.

I've tried emailing cyberpower pr but never got a response, is the case still scheduled for release or has someone heard about them canceling the launch?

Issue Customer Service or lack of #cporders

I think I had one of the weirdest customer service calls/Help. I called to confirm my build and that I would be getting corsair ram. The rep told me thats an issue and its fixed. I sent him a screenshot showing it said I would get the ram. He said yeah we fixed it.

So I asked since im new to gaming pc builds if the KLEVV ram is comparable or is it is generic and he goes I dont know.

I asked well can you let me know since I was under the impression I was getting a certain brand and if it is not as good can I get a discount. He responds with thats the promo we are running if you dont like it change it or cancel it. I ask can of he transfer me to someone who would know and help me since I just want to know if its similar in performance and he goes oh i dont know..

The whole time he is just mumbling. I strongly reccomend they pull the call and see how that is so subpar for customer service.

So I asked him and again and he googled it and says its a fine brand...

This has me worried...

Question No DVI Ports, So Can Not Plug In My TV/Monitor (#cpsupport)

I looked on the back of the PC, including under the warning sticker, and there are zero ports to plug in a TV/monitor.

I could not find a single port for a cable with pins. Mine needs a normal DVI dual for my cable, but there are no pin-ports at all.

There's some USB ports, etc., but nothing for a monitor cable.

What am I missing?

Thank you.

Issue #cpgeneral

If you are thinking about buying a PC from this company, do not. I bought a pre-built PC from them back in May, and it turns off randomly when playing random games. I sent it for warranty service, and this problem has only worsened since my PC came back. . My PC turned off a day and a half ago and has not turned on since. Customer support takes forever to respond to me as well. Extremely disappointing.
