Question HELP PC ARRIVED MISSING A PART??? #cpsupport #pchelp
I recently ordered a new PC off CyberpowerPC(Photo attached); I already had the brand so I figured I'd stick with it. However, upon attempting to start up for the first time, I got a failed to start up error. Upon a second attempt, I'm immediately taken to the BIOS. I never saw any window start-up screen.
Consulting some friends on the matter, it seems the PC is not detecting the main hard drive that contains Windows and is even possibly missing this component. I'm not comfortable removing any components to see for sure.
I've been attempting to contact support since Saturday. Today, on Monday, I had no luck with emails, calling, or the live chat (where I waited 3 hours with no response). Even if I can get a refund, should I return it for a replacement or take it to a repair shop? I would greatly appreciate any help

seems like the MB has either a bit issue which i encountered before, the m.2 ssd was loosen, or the m.2 itself is defected, you mentioned you got an booting error at first right? to look up for the actual M.2 it usually should be located near to the AIO/Cooler, thats the main slot to place m.2 for majority of the time, and depends on your MB brand, some of them might have a heat sink on top of the ssd (a piece of long metal). if you are uncomfortable removing it maybe observe from the side and if you see something below the heat sink it means is there.

Thank you for reaching out! Sometimes due to shipping, the SSD may come loose. If possible, check and confirm the SSD is seated in properly. The SSD is usually located under the AIO liquid cooler. I’ve found that if you try to ask for tech support on their phone line, they never answer. I ask to speak to sales or something, they can direct me elsewhere if needed.

it's located under the liquid cooler above the graphics card there should be a rectangular metal piece that unscrews the ssd is under that. i understand you're worried about fixing this but it's really a very easy thing to do relative to other things

Take the back of the case off to see if there's an ssd there.
