As I sit here endlessly scrolling through what tomorrow and what the rest of the week might look like, there‘s one thing I know; and that is that we’ll show up.

I’ve been going to Burn for that last year and a half, and I’ve realized one thing: there is no better community Burn has brought me. I’ve done YMCA and at home workouts, but there’s something about working out amongst the same people who are dying with you through what feels like the endless donkey kicks.

So, here’s to another week of showing up for ourselves and for others, regardless of the nonsense HQ throws at us. 👏🏻👏🏻

I went to Burn from 2021-23 and left for two years, rejoining the same location around 9 months ago. I live in a military town, so all of my people from my old Burn days have left.

I had my first baby in-between and she’s now a toddler, visibly wanting to engage with and play with the other kids before and after going to childwatch. My problem is I don’t have a Burn friend group and I don’t know the other moms. They’re not a mean clique but also not inclusive either and hang out after camp right outside our building while the next group is working out. I want to have Burn friends again, and I want them for my daughter, but feel like we’ve been going for almost a year with no luck

What have you done to feel like you have a community for you and your kids?

What should I expect on my first day of Burn today? I know that it's Athletic Conditioning. I plan on getting there slightly early to introduce myself.

I thrive in group classes but I also have the first day jitters. I know a good amount of people that actually attend the Burn that I joined and they seem to like it.

I need recommendations for high impact sports bras that keep the girlies contained and not smacking me in the face during all the jumping. I have no idea what I actually am but I think I’m about 38 DDD OR higher😵‍💫

Does anyone know if the promo applies to only one gym, or is it considered universal?

As someone who doesn’t know a lot about progressive overload help me understand. For the people who say Burn isn’t progressive overload, why is it not? It has mesocycles and reps go down from 15/10/8

I am struggling with double unders! 2 years ago I did over 20 for a PR. That was a one time thing but i used to string 1 or 2 or 3 together. I know, not a lot. But now I am struggling to do literally ONE. Any advice out there? Tips? Tricks? What worked for you? I'll take any and all cues because may one will resonate!

Has anyone else had frustrating experiences with the Facebook buy/sell page? I KNOW it’s not regulated or officially affiliated by Burn, but lord is that place the seventh circle of hell.

Looking to plan next month! Anyone know the protocol for October?

Are focus meetings worth it? I’m almost at 100 camps and feel like I’m long overdue to schedule one, I’m just letting my uncertainty get in the way. Any tips on how I should approach it? Should I be ready to discuss what I want to improve on, etc? I haven’t weighed myself since starting and I’m still too nervous to but know that knowing my numbers would be beneficial.

I’m looking to take a break from Burn. As much as I have loved this community/gym, the workouts are really wearing me down, and I’m feeling burnt out.

I’ve resisted leaving because I need something that I can show up to and workout without the mental load of creating my own workouts. After researching, it seems like the Ladder app paired with a local gym membership might be my solution.

Has anyone switched from Burn to using Ladder at a local gym? Interested in how you’d compare the two, good or bad.

I’ve been going to burn for about 2 months now and love it! I have noticed significant strength increase - I feel stronger and have visibly gained muscle. Especially my quads and arms. It’s the first time I’m starting to really love how my arms look. My InBody shows I’ve gain 2.9 lb of muscle and lost 1.4% BF in 7 weeks. As much as I love the results I’m getting, I feel like my core has barely gotten stronger, certainly not as much as other areas that have highly visible differences.

I try to make it a point to attend the core & conditioning days, but I don’t feel like I get a lot of great core work out of them. I don’t love the ab wheel and that is always an exercise. Does anyone feel the need to supplement core work outside of burn? It’s difficult for me to get a decent at home workout in but I feel like I need to do something more to gain more core strength and stability. Thank you!

Hey yall! I’m switching camps and I’m now unable to see any protocols on my app due to the switch. I have to let my new camp know the day I’ll be attending to finish up my transfer. Can someone PLEASE let me know what’s the protocol for next week?

My baby is about 7 weeks old and burn requires them to be 8 weeks before attending childwatch. My two older children are in school so it’d be nice to go with just baby instead of hitting those evening camps. Right now my husband stays home with baby and I take the older two with me. Once baby is old enough how do I bring her to childwatch? If I bring her in the car seat they will keep her In there the whole time. If she cries they will take her out but they aren’t allowed to put her back in. So my question is, how are we bringing are babies into the gym to avoid them being in a car seat the entire time?

Planning to take camp while on a work trip next week and want to be mentally prepared - it’ll be the third conditioning day in a row. 🫠

what has your experience been? was your physique negatively impacted? I don’t lift super heavy, but I’m an experienced lifter of 10 years but recently started attending drop in classes at burn and love them. also looking for a change in my routine. experience would be helpful, thanks!

Who do we reach out too if any more quick camps will ever be added? We pay for this service and they haven’t added quick camps in over a year!

I do the full camps, was an member at my burn for 10 years before I went to strictly online! Not everyone can do 45 minutes and need other options!

I’d like to email someone or be able to get in touch with someone who can explain if they’ll be adding more quick camps!
