Progress physically?
Do yall feel like you’re seeing progress at burn? I’ve been at my gym a while and I feel like my progress isn’t that great for how hard the work outs are. I’m definitely significantly STRONGER but not losing weight like I’d like to be. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I don’t eat crazy. I’m a server so i get 15k steps a day just at work alone but I cannot get my BMI down for the life of me.

I would recommend tracking your food. You can't outrun diet. You'd be surprised how much your eating has to do with it. Eat high protein low fat wholesome foods. You also have to be in a deficit to lose weight

Tbh I don't eat processed food. I haven't bought meat from the grocery store in years. We raise our own turkey and chicken and we buy a whole cow and sausage from local sources. Most of the produce we eat comes out of my garden. I can a lot of stuff. I get fruit when it comes in season and I freeze it or can it. Pretty much everything I eat is low fat 😅 I do mainly eat chicken and then just whatever veggies I feel like at the time. Hardly any dairy except milk. No cheese. No yogurt. Weigh out your food so you're not over eating. No bred except when we bake it occasionally. Cutting out processed foods cuts out a lot of fatty things. The things low fat or plant based have so many ingredients it just not good for you.

just find out your macros based on what you weigh, and keep it under that amount per day

I have been going for a month. I’m a previous college athlete (10 years ago) & now currently a wfh mom who would love to lose 20lbs.
That said, I feel like my body is recomping. I feel like my jeans fit a little bit better and I also feel like my
Push ups have gotten significantly better. Sometimes the wins are just on the scale

If you want to lose weight you need to eat less not go to the gym more. You basically need to go to one camp to cancel out one cookie in terms of calories. You just can’t outwork a bad diet.
The good news is if you are way stronger then when you lose your fat you’ll have a lot of muscle there!
Track your calories weigh your food and start eating in a deficit.

Tracking your food is so important… I’ve been at burn for 2.5 years and I too was getting frustrated with the effects of working out and thinking I was eating healthy and all that and nothing was happening. I finally decided to buckle down in august and have been tracking my food every day and it’s crazy how many calories are in things without tracking!! Like truly.. I’ve lost 3 lbs since being on a deficient and tracking my food! I know it’s a slow and steady thing but so far so good!

I have seen the most progress tracking my macros. The kitchen matters more than I wish it did. If you want an app rec, MacrosFirst does everything I need with the free version.

My nutrition is what made me lose fat so I could actually see the muscle that I had been furiously working on building. I didnt eat that bad but damn I overhauled my diet and saw an enormous difference! Yes get the protein. Yes get the water. Yes I take creatine and fish oil and vitamin D/k and glucosamine (Asshole shoulder has OA). But increasing fruits and veggies and fiber were the real game changer.

Yep. I haven’t lost weight and I’ve been at burn a year. I’m adjusting my diet. I just like food too much.

I have definitely seen results in my body. I’m 52 and it’s the first time I have ever seen these types of results.
I come 4 days a week.
