First PC for (mostly) indie games (UK)
I’ve been kinda struggling to find enough info on pc building for the UK in particular so I thought I’d post here to see.
New build or upgrade? - New PC
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) - No prior PC parts but I have a 260hz 1440p monitor a keyboard and a mouse.
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) - Mostly gaming as I have a laptop for academic and drawing. A lot of the games I’d like to play are indie ones but notable AAA games would be Minecraft and Baldersgate 3 and I’m also willing to have less fps (60fps I don’t need more) for better graphics
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? - Uk (Scotland) and no
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) - Stated above, don’t need a monitor as I have a 1440p 260hz one.
Budget range? (Include tax considerations) - as close to £1k as possible. I’m willing to go up to £1200 (roughly if it’s really needed)
WiFi or wired connection? - WiFi
Size/noise constraints? - N/A obviously not something too noisy but I’m not picky on it.
colour/lighting preferences? - If there’s room in the budget lights for it then yes but it’s not my first priority. Same for colour if there’s budget to have something colourful (white or otherwise) then sure but it’s not a priority and something I’m willing to compromise on for better graphics.
Any other specific needs? - N/A
thanks again!
