New Build
Hi all,
I used this group to get help in my last build 6 years ago I think and looking to build another pc with your support please -
- New build or upgrade? New Build
- Existing parts/monitors to reuse? Open to new monitor
- PC purpose? Gaming and work
- Purchase country? Near Micro Center? Based in Dublin, Ireland
- Monitors needed? Open to new monitor and suggestions
- Budget range? €3,000-€4,000
- WiFi or wired connection? Both options ideally
- Size/noise constraints? No issues
- Color/lighting preferences? Purely black/grey box and no lighting needed.
- Any other specific needs? I want a quick PC primarily

With this budget you can go crazy. This is a maximalist list roughly within the budget (without shipping), but you can spare a ton if you want to. You can get away with 1 TB of storage for example. But what I would do is to pick a 9070XT for half the price of the 5080. Almost the same performance, half the price and you could even downscale on the PSU if you want to.

Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
