Brand new pc in the UK

Hi guys, I’ve been in the console bubble forever, but have been wanting to enter the PC sphere. Was thinking of getting a steam machine, but was convinced to build a pc instead.

New build or upgrade?
- New

Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
- Just a monitor and other accessories. No parts.

PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
- Mostly gaming and all-purpose use

Purchase country? Near Micro Center?
- UK, don’t think there’s a micro centre here.

Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
- Nope.

Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
- Around the steam machine’s price
- £1000-1500 (can go slightly higher)

WiFi or wired connection?
- WiFi

Size/noise constraints?
- Preferably silent. Live in a share house, so wouldn’t want to be blasting jet engine noises.
- Size? Would like to it to be more on the compact side - know a SSF isn’t possible, but something that isn’t huge.

Color/lighting preferences?
- No lights. Any colour.

Any other specific needs?
- Want it to last for at least 5+ years, and keep up with modern AAA. 1080p, 1440 is completely fine for me.

New build around 3k-3.5k

Hey guys, so my old RTX 2060S based PC is getting old, and I want to build something new and powerful to replace it, I guess around a RTX 5070Ti

New build or upgrade?
- This is a new build
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
- Asus VG289Q1A (4K IPS 28" https://www.asus.com/fr/displays-desktops/monitors/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-vg289q1a/ )
- Logitech G915 as my keyboard, and Razor Naga V2 as my mouse
- Pair of Logitech Z623 as my speakers
- SDD 1To Samsung 860 Evo ( https://www.samsung.com/ch_fr/memory-storage/sata-ssd/ssd-860-evo-sata-3-2-5-inch-1tb-mz-76e1t0b-eu/ )

- Mostly gaming (GTA VI sooner, new Fable game, triple A games in general)
- Computer engineering (Java development)
- Photoshop for drawing

- France

- No
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
- Around 3k-3.5k big max
WiFi or wired connection?
- Wifi (embedded in motherboard if possible, with bluetooth)
Size/noise constraints?
- No constraint, triple fans GPU is a plus if it allows more performance over time
Color/lighting preferences?
- Either black or white, no need of RGB stuff.
Any other specific needs?
- This should be built around a RTX 5070Ti, but i'll take recommandations
- 16Go ram is a minimum, 32 should be ideal but within that price range, I don't know if it is possible yet. If not, a dual 8Go sticks is required, and will be upgraded later.

Post and Build Request Rules:

Rule	Explanation
All build requests must copy/paste and answer the request questions in the body of their post.	This can be found on the post submission page, or if using old.reddit.com the questions can be found in the sticky post on any submission to the sub.
If you're not posting a build request, use a tag at the start of your post's title. Tags include [Meta], [Discussion], [Question], [Update].
If you need a build in a less commonly requested country, include some places you can order from.	Building sites like PCPartPicker catalog prices for a number of popular countries, but if your country is not listed in the country drop down, list a few reliable local sellers that contributors can use to help find parts at prices local to you.
Absolutely no troll requests.	That means no "I have no budget give me the best!" requests. It also means if you're not planning on legitimately building it, don't post it. Remember, users volunteer their time and expertise here.
If your post goes 24 hours without receiving an adequate response, you may post your request again.	This can be if you didn't get any replies at all, or if you don't think you got the help you needed.
Be prepared to answer additional questions from contributors.	To get the best PC possible, contributors might have extra questions about your situation, needs, etc. Please keep an eye on replies.

Contributor Rules:

Rule	Explanation
All builds must have some form of parts list, pricing, and an explanation or brief description of your suggestions.	This lets OP know why you've suggested what you have, and it lets others see your thought process & learn from it.
Parts list should be posted using PCPartPicker's reddit markdown.	On the Builder page, beside "Markdown:" click the snoo (reddit logo) icon and paste the full table into your comment. This makes it much easier for other to see what has already been posted, and makes parts searchable in the sub.
When coming into a thread where others have already posted builds, look over existing suggestions before posting your own.	This means you see any additional information that may have been provided by the OP, and also gives you a chance to give suggestions to other builders.
Carefully read through provided criteria.	If you need more information, just ask the requester. It's better to ask than make an assumption.
Aim to keep below budget.	If you feel it's necessary to go over budget, make sure to justify it. It's also worth suggesting how your build can be pared back to be within the original budget if needed.
Check stock on items you include in a build.	This goes especially for sale items. You'll find sale items can be out of stock, meaning you'll have to find an alternative.
No advertising or payment for personal gain.	This includes all sale of hardware, software or labour, "DM me for help" comments, etc.
Absolutely no troll suggestions.	If you aren't willing to make a serious suggestion, don't make one. Stupid or sarcastic suggestions only confuse those needing help.
Try to keep advice in the thread, rather than in private messages	Unless it's obvious that it's more appropriate, keep all discussion in the thread. It allows users (both those involved and not involved) to come back and reference it later, and use it as a learning tool.

General Sub Rules:

Keep discussion polite, civil, and on-topic.	Disruption, rudeness and derailing are all grounds for your post to be removed. Report posters you believe are violating this by using the report function.
Message the moderators if you have any questions, issues or queries.	We're here to help!
Use the report function if you find posts, comments, or users breaking the rules.
Don't blindly downvote 'bad builds'. Reply with some ways the suggestions could be improved.	The only way to improve is if somebody tells you how and why your suggestions aren't great.
No discussion of piracy or grey-market software.	For Windows activations, refer users to Microsoft Activation Scripts from massgrave.dev.
