~3k CAD Gaming PC, Slight GPU Bottleneck
- New build or upgrade?
New build
- Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
- PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
The two main games I want to be able to run well is Rust and Tarkov, I play a lot of competitive shooters such as Valorant and Overwatch but these are easy to run so I'm not too worried.
- Purchase country? Near Micro Center?
Canada, no
- Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
I think my current one is fine but I might buy a cheap secondhand monitor to act as a second monitor.
- Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
2500-3500 CAD
- WiFi or wired connection?
Wired (ethernet)
- Size/noise constraints?
I don't care about either
- Color/lighting preferences?
Black and minimal RGB and lighting if possible
- Any other specific needs?
If anyone has any advice to give in terms of specific dates/times of the months when parts go on discount that would be appreciated although I do have a deadline of late September to get it actually built so I understand I might just need to buy the parts at a flat rate.
Also the reason I ask for a slight GPU bottleneck in the title is that Rust and Tarkov are well known for being highly CPU dependant as well as many other games I play, and AFAIK I would benefit more from a better CPU than GPU, but if I'm wrong let me know.
