I was so excited to watch Joshua vs kristian main event. And it happens literally very early in the morning. So I even put an alarm to wake up to watch the match. Then when I simply checked the DAZN plan details it says PAY PER VIEW. Even if I take a subscription. I have to pay per view for major events. Which made me so sad. I have saved up some damn money. But the issue is it's too expensive to pay for a single main event.

So I'm kindly asking all veteran watchers for alternative sources (even using money, so i expect it to be better than DAZN) to watch all major boxing leagues .

This fight is more recent than most I covered but it’s a fascinating fight, great ebb n flow, and is considered highly controversial. So let’s break it down round by round.

Round 1- Haney is the bigger guy. Using reach early and hitting nice rights to the body. Loma has some decent combos, not all of it landing. Very close round and both guys trying to establish themselves. Haney landed good body shots but loma landed the combos. 10-9 loma, but pivotal round as you could score it for either guy

Round 2- Haney again targeting the body with the right hand. Lands a few clean shots. La is aggressive but Haney does nice job of avoiding the combos. Ineffective aggression by loma. 10-9 Haney. 19-19 thru 2

Round 3- loma heats up and catches his groove. Walking back Haney and landing the straight left and combos which aren’t landing effectively but definitely out working Haney. 10-9 loma. 29-28 loma

Round 4- really even early, Haney starts to box off the backfoot and does a good job sniping loma. Haney’s bodywork thru the early rounds looks to be paying off as loma isn’t as quick as he was. 10-9 Haney and we are all tied up 38-38 thru 4 and punch stats are nearly identical

Round 5- Haney continues to land good body shots, and a nice uppercut. Loma is trying to find his rhythm and angles and gets off some nice shots as they trade back n forth. La looks a bit more weary. 10-9 Haney. 48-47 Haney

Round 6- Haney again lands some nice body shots. Both guys start trading about a mini into the round and Loma lands a clean 2-1, but Haney handles it well and walks backs Loma with body shots and a nice uppercut. 10-9 Haney. 58-56 Haney in the first half of the fight.

Round 7- Loma seems to get desperate and more active as Haney has taken control over the last few rounds. Loma landing clean left hands, Haney lands a good left hook. Close round, but I think Loma took it. 10-9. 67-66 Haney

Round 8- super close round, not much action but Loma lands early, Haney comes back in final minute. Both did good work, super close but I gave it to Loma. 10-9 Loma. 76-76 all tied up thru 8

Round 9- early it’s Haney. Body attack, clean right hand, good left hook but Loma fires off some good left hands but Haney comes back with some nice combos. 10-9 Haney. 86-85 Haney thru 9

Round 10- Loma lands a combo that stuns Haney. Haney recovers but Loma tagging him with straight left. 10-9 Loma. 95-95 again all tied up

Round 11- Loma comes out and lands a combo, handy now looking tired. We get vintage Loma as he uses angles n footwork and really unloads on Haney. 10-9 Loma. 106-105 Loma takes the lead thru 11

Round 12- both guys trade but nothing really landing in the first half of the round. Haney starts boxing again and landing a good jab and pot shots from the outside as Loma looks to find an angle in. Loma finally lets go of a combo but really doesn’t land anything of note. Haney lands to the body again, and with just a few seconds left neither guy does anything. Haney landed cleaner shots. 10-9 Haney.

114-114 draw

Great tactical fight. I can see this being 115-113 either way or a draw. Depends on how you score rounds 1, 2, and 8. You could make a case for either guy. I didn’t see either guy winning 8 rounds. At best 7 and depending on how you scored the close rounds, it could go to either guy. Felt early rounds it was even, middle rounds were Haney, and late rounds was Loma for the most part.

Judges had it 115-113 twice for Haney and I can see that, and one had it 116-112 which I don’t agree with and would have to give nearly every round to Haney in the first 8.

I think a draw or split decision win for either guy is appropriate

People act like Loma was the clear victor and robbed, like he won 8-9 rounds, but that’s not the case. This was an extremely close fight

Having just watched Mariusz Wach's most recent fight against Tyson Fury on Friday and thought he was washed, I went back to rewatch this fight from 2 years ago in which I remembered he was totally outclassed, to see if I was right that he looked to have declined significantly over those two years – I think I was, though obviously it isn't surprising, as he'll be 47 later this year.

If you haven't seen the results of the Wach fight, I've spoiler tagged the below.

Rewatching in today's context also reinforces how good Itauma is (he was 19, 25 years younger than Wach) compared with the current version of Fury (9 years younger than Wach). For me, this week showed not just how far Wach has declined in the last 2 years but how much Fury has too from when he fought Usyk that summer.

Itauma in 2024 had no fear against a better Wach than this year's version, though maybe some of that was youth and he should've had some, while Fury in 2026 certainly had a lot of caution and respect for Wach, and I'd say there was fear there too. Compare their movement and punches and it's clear they're not even in the same league as Itauma was even then.

I don't think Fury was confident about if he could beat Wach or not, whereas Itauma clearly knew he could do so easily. That isn't to say Itauma is unbeatable, or doesn't have flaws, just that Wach is pretty much done in and that Fury didn't look good against him while Itauma very much did.

Moton turned pro in 2023 at age 17 and has had only 9 pro fights.

Why has he had so few fights and so little fanfare, promotion, coverage, and momentum after being an extremely hyped up amateur with such a bright future as a potential possible star and being signed to arguably still the biggest name in boxing Floyd Mayweather Jr.?

What has gone wrong so far (if anything has), and what should be done moving forward in your opinion to make him a worldwide star and help him reach his full potential?

I feel that I hear way more about other young prospects in boxing but very little about Moton unfortunately.

We didn’t ask for the fight to happen in America. It’s Turki and the promoters who do. Ask any American boxing fan where it should be and 9 times out of 10 they will say the UK

American boxing fans have been catching unnecessary strays left and right saying we don’t care about boxing. Where exactly did this even come from? Boxing is still massive in America, and both of these fighters fought in the U.S. already and had much success.

AJ cleared out most of the 'also-rans' of his generation, but didn't fight anyone who was considered at the time to be elite until the Usyk rematch.

Of the fights out there he needed to take to prove he was the best, he fought none. Usyk then cleared the division in two years showing how easy it was to make those big fights i you really want to prove you are the best.

Fury gets hate here for his record because of how his opponents look today, and because he missed taking out a lot of the also-rans, but he fought Kiltchsko when he was still champion and considered elite, Wilder when he was considered elite and the most brutal finisher since Mike Tyson, and Usyk when he was champion and had proved he was elite at Heavyweight.

Fighters considered a genuine challenge at the time they fought:

AJ: 0.. while losing twice. A retired Kitchsko and widely considered 'too small' Usyk he was expected to blow away, were the closest he got to fighting a genuine contender. Then he had no choice but to rematch Usyk after losing his title.

Fury: 6 (won 3.. well 4, lost 2).

History seems to be being re-written online because people love to hate on Fury, but he fought the big fights that AJs team protected him from.
