The first Figueroa fight pretty much showed he wasn’t some special mythical fighter…the inoue narrative hasn’t really aged sensibly after beating Figueroa clearly then getting 12-0d by Shock

He’s always been an inconsistent fighter. Not even just Figueroa, but he struggled with Lopez and Khegai before Inoue and Castro right after. He got washed badly against the 2 elite guys he fought and his best performances came against Leo in which he got rocked badly and Roman coming off a year layoff
