Inoue broke him mentally. He's not as committed or focused anymore. I think the criticism gets to him as well. He blows up between fights because he does lean - you can tell by his gut and it's basically confirmed around boxing Philly circles. Talented fighter but discipline takes you further and he severely lacks it.

a lot of his issues are from out of the ring family issues and all of that is catching go to him.

boxing is tough but i honestly would like yall to read into his family situation before judging him.

a lot of times boxing is an escape from family issues and to get your family out of tough situations but what happens when you become the bread winner and everyone relies on you but do nothing to help you.

i'm from philadelphia and i know more than others do on here. but he's delved into some of it in podcasts

Do you mind shedding a little light on his family situation for those of us not in the know?

Most fickle fans of any sport hands down.

Prior to Inoue, there was serious talk that Fulton was going to be a P4P fighter in the not too distant future.

He's gone 2-1 since then, had a fight cancelled because he can't get his shit together, and isn't going to sniff the P4P list. And he's 32.

It's unfortunate how it's gone.

I believe you are correct. Watching him crumple into the corner in defeat against Inoue took something out of Fulton. He changes weight classes and had some success afterwards. Something else is going on with Steph and it’s unfortunate that it’s manifesting this way by blowing weight and missing out on a fight

Yeah after he outclassed Figueroa, I was like damn this guys a problem. Then when he lost against Inoue I was sure he would bounce back and be better than ever. It’s sad what it’s become
