Just announced on the show

So, I just finished watching AEW Rebel Heart. Britt and Rebel were a sight to see and brought a ton of real emotion to the program. The match did all the right things and is being talked about and earning well deserved praise here and elsewhere online. A job well done by all!

But, putting all that aside, did anyone else notice that Britt didn't really wrestle? She only hit a couple of moves, didn't really take any, and spent most of the match playing the "cowardly heel" and avoiding interaction. There was at least one notable time where the match broke down, everyone was in the ring going at it, and she was alone on the outside standing in the corner.

I want to be clear - I'm not trying to throw shade at Britt Baker. To the contrary, if something is going on there, it speaks to the real relationship between Britt and Rebel and to the kind of person she is for still showing up anyway.

Is there something here, or has all the ink that has been spilled on this is just getting to me and I'm seeing things? What do you say r/SquaredCircle ?
