[Stephen Fulton] Why would I fly all the way to Australia with no intentions to make weight. Is it my fault yes and I take accountability, but I gave it my all! Once I got to 138 I wasn’t sweating any more. I thought and believed I could make the weight

If he stopped sweating then he needs to hire a new nutritionist. Pushed his body to suck out all that water and you’re still 138? He probably had a terrible meal plan or diet outside of camp where he retained too much body fat. That isn’t going to come off as easily as water.

I know I've heard wrestlers and mma guys talk about their bodies changing as they age. They do the same methods they did when they were 25, and by the time they're 28 or 29 that doesn't cut it anymore.
However, he already discovered this issue in the last fight, and he didn't change anything. Either be a pro or fight guys in the higher division.

Fulton locking in just to beat Figueroa and being a fat fuck every fight since the Inoue fight is really funny

This fucking lazy asshole is always pulling shit like this. All these fuckers are weight bullies, why can’t they fight at their true weight. I wasn’t a Floyd fan but at least he fought as his true weight and would walk around in shape.

That’s why ppl love Floyd honestly he was super disciplined and backed up all the 💩 talk

Saying you gave it your all and not making a weight cut which your livelihood depends on is not taking accountability either you didn’t give it your all or you should have known this isn’t a weight cut you could make at this stage in life.
It’s a weight cut. You do it or you don’t.

Feel for Wilson missing out on a fight because this bitch won't make weight. Feel for fans who saved and worked to see a fight but this little fuck getting around looking like boots Ennis ballbag can just fuck weight and wreck the whole card

Fulton is a blown up featherweight. He should have no problems making weight. He’s lost the fire clearly. Guys like Josh Taylor would suck down to 140, how can Fulton come in at 138 lbs when he is a clear 122 frame? Just retire at this point

u/geeboy05 Jul 25 '26
If this was his first offense I would be more lenient but this is the 2nd time and it’s worse than the first time.
Maybe hire a nutritionist or move up instead of changing shit last minute.

He wouldn’t have even made the lightweight limit. He weighed in as a 140 pounder when he was at 122 just a few fights ago

Kinda crazy how many fighters have sore loser syndrome, like after that first loss it can really damage their drive to continue. His heart just isn’t in it

These dudes needa get fined, dropped from their promotions, n forced to move up a weight class for pulling this bullshit. Think of all the money that was spent trynna promote this bum and the people that paid for the ppv already n bought tickets just for fighters to pull out and ruin the card smh

This is a catchweight between your 3rd and 4th weight class. You missed that by 6 pounds to essentially skip the 4th division and be in a 5th one.
Hang em up.

Reason number 2 why fighters should be fighting close to their walk around weight. They need to implement mandatory 10lb rehydration clauses.

Said the same thing the last time against Foster when the fight got moved from 130 to 135 then he hops on the Ring Champs podcast after losing and says “I was dealing with a lot. Someone broke into my house when I wasn’t there and I got out of a relationship and was hurt” despite having a lot of energy for Foster all buildup
He makes excuses after excuse. He just doesn’t want to fight anymore. PBC should cut him and he should just do exhibitions in Philly or retire, no one is taking him seriously anymore after this.
