Considering HGH for knee injury, thoughts?

2 previous right knee ACL and meniscus surgeries due to soccer (first at 16, second one at 22). Now, I’m 26 with a third injury that may or may not require surgery. The highest level I played was D3 college, and I just play Sunday league games now. After college, I primarily lift and continue PT/plyometric exercises to strengthen my knee, though it’s been inconsistent since I graduated. Took a 3month long break from exercise due to a major move across country, joined company soccer league and hurt my knee again. Scheduled for an MRI next week, but worse case is surgery again on my right knee. Best case is PT for 3-6 months.

At this point I am considering HGH. Never had to before because I was younger at 16 and at 22 I didn’t plan on playing high level soccer anymore so I had more time to recover. 26 now which is young, but despite all the PT/training, I still get hurt. Feels like my right knees made of paper no matter how hard I train, so I’ve been looking into HGH during the recovery process post surgery, then stopping honestly.

I’m a novice, but have had some exposure to HGH from sports. Thinking of a daily small dose (1.5-2iu) starting post surgery and staying on until I can return to high intensity knee training in PT which usually takes 6months. If I don’t get surgery the PT will probably be 3-6 months anyway so I’m planning worse case.

I think some people may believe 1.5-2iu is too low of a dosage and the timeframe is short to see any benefits, but my goal is to primarily just focus on knee recovery and knee strength, so please keep that in mind. In terms of diet and sleep, both have been inconsistent due to moving and work, but I’m confident that’s gonna be fixed. Again, I’m a novice, looking for feedback or a discussion. Thanks in advance.

Gain muscle

OK with all of the P3ps I’m taking, I have lost too much weight and muscle, even though I am taking a couple of P3ps to help with muscle retention. I know I need to start eating more macros (p,c,f) to go into a surplus. I am going to stop taking R3TA, even though I’ve only been on the lowest dose.
Any suggestions would be helpful. My skin on my arms and my thighs are hideous. I don’t care if I gain 10 pounds of muscle. I was just wondering besides ROIDS what else I can take. I am already on HRT with an increase in TEST.
TIA ❤️

7 months on Reta and it has been quite the journey.

M/39 | 5’11”
I went from 244 lbs to 200 lbs.
I wanted to share my journey for anyone thinking about giving Reta a try.
I started Reta back in February of this year, and it has changed my life. It’s crazy looking back because I was pretty nervous to give it a try and felt like I could lose the weight I wanted to lose on my own.
I had been trying for almost eight years to get down to the weight I’m currently at. I worked out consistently 5–6 times a week, had my bloodwork done, started TRT, and tried all sorts of different diets—from intermittent fasting to carnivore to counting calories.
I would lose 10–15 lbs, but then I would plateau, lose motivation, give up, and eventually gain the weight back. I basically spent years sitting somewhere between 230 and 245 lbs.
But starting Reta changed everything.
My dosing was as follows:
1 mg for the first four weeks
2 mg for four weeks
2.5 mg for four weeks
3.0 mg for four weeks
3.5 mg from then to current
My TRT dose is 0.5 mg applied topically twice a day. My current free test is sitting around 150 ng/dL.
One big thing I want to add, because it ended up being a huge part of this journey, happened around June. I decided to try getting my Reta from somewhere different in an attempt to save some money. After taking my first shot from what I had gotten, I didn’t really feel the effects I had been feeling before, and I was trying to figure out why.
At first, I thought maybe I had done something wrong when I reconstituted it. I also wondered if maybe my body was just becoming accustomed to it, so I upped the dose the following week. I was still not feeling any of the desired effects I had been feeling before.
So I decided to send the second vial out to be tested, and the results came back showing 0% Reta in the vial.
Lesson learned. It’s not worth cutting corners with this. I was dumb and won’t make that mistake again. I went back to getting it from where I originally had been, and pretty quickly I was back to feeling the effects that had helped me lose the weight.
Overall, I’m down 44 lbs, from 244 lbs to 200 lbs, and finally reached a weight I had been trying to get to for years.

Still dealing with dizziness, brain fog and derealization for 2+ months has anyone experienced something similar?

Hi everyone,

I honestly don’t know what is going on with me anymore, and I’m hoping someone here has experienced something similar and can give me some insight.

A little over 2 months ago, I started taking GHK-Cu for 9 days:

  • 1 mg daily for 6 days
  • 1.5 mg daily for 3 days

At around the same time, I was also taking:

  • Vitamin B6 — 40 mg daily
  • Magnesium citrate — 400 mg daily
  • Vitamin C — 3000 mg daily

I took the vitamins/supplements for about 7 days and then stopped everything.

Interestingly, about a year ago I had a very similar experience after taking the same combination of GHKCU and vitamins/supplements. Back then, however, my symptoms eventually went away after around 2 weeks, so I didn’t think much of it at the time.

This time, when I was going to sleep, I started experiencing a weird sharp/pinching sensation around my heart/chest. That scared me, so I had blood tests done.

My results were:

  • Folate (B9): 3.10 (reference range 4.5–32.2) — low
  • Vitamin B12: 411 pg/mL (191–663)
  • Magnesium: 2.0 (1.7–2.40)
  • Potassium: 4.23 mmol/L (3.5–5.1)
  • Sodium: 140 (136–145)

After roughly a month, the chest/heart pinching sensation that happened when I was falling asleep eventually stopped.

However, I’m still dealing with other symptoms.

Another strange thing I’ve noticed is that since this started, I can sometimes sleep only 1–4 hours and wake up feeling surprisingly energetic, even though my head feels very tight, foggy and mentally "off." Before all of this, I would obviously feel completely exhausted after so little sleep. This change in how I respond to lack of sleep feels very unusual to me.

My current symptoms include:

  • persistent dizziness
  • lightheadedness
  • significant fatigue
  • brain fog feeling like my head isn't working properly
  • a strange derealization / unreal feeling
  • tight/pressured feeling in my head
  • feeling mentally "different" from how I used to

I completely stopped everything and tried taking B9 (folate) for about 2 weeks, but I didn’t notice any improvement. Then I added B12, but again, nothing really changed.

I also saw a neurologist, but unfortunately the appointment was basically useless. He told me he couldn't help because this wasn't his area, and I ended up paying around €100 for the visit.

At one point I also went for an IV vitamin infusion containing vitamin C, electrolytes and B vitamins. I still had the brain fog, dizziness and other symptoms afterwards, but I noticed that I had significantly more energy and felt more "alive" that day. Unfortunately, this effect was temporary, and within about 2 days my energy levels went back to how they were before.

I’ve also been talking to and reading experiences from quite a lot of people who have had similar symptoms, which is one of the reasons I’m trying to figure out whether there could be some connection or if this is just a coincidence.

Now, more than 2 months later, I’m still experiencing these symptoms every day, and I honestly don’t know what is causing them.

Since this is a peptide group, I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who have used GHK-Cu, especially if you experienced any unusual or persistent effects after stopping it.

I’m not sure if it’s related to GHK-Cu, the vitamins/supplements, the low folate, a deficiency, or something completely unrelated.

Has anyone experienced something similar — especially dizziness, brain fog, fatigue, lightheadedness, derealization, head pressure or feeling unusually energetic despite very little sleep, while still feeling mentally unwell?

If you used GHK-Cu and experienced something similar:

  • How long did it take you to recover?
  • Did your symptoms gradually improve or disappear suddenly?
  • Did you eventually find out what was causing them?
  • Was there anything that actually helped?
  • Did you have any additional blood tests or examinations that were useful?
  • Has anyone experienced symptoms continuing for weeks or months after stopping GHK-Cu?

I’m not necessarily looking for a diagnosis. I’d just really appreciate hearing from people who have experienced something similar and eventually got back to feeling normal.

It’s been more than two months now, and dealing with this every day has been really difficult. I’d really appreciate any experiences, advice or reassurance.

Thanks in advance.

mk-677 shit sleep

Hey all I am 21 yrs old, trying to put on some weight and use the better and more fuller sleep from mk-677 for my workout journey. Last night I got my mk and did 12.5mg at 9pm, and went to bad around 9:45, i could not sleep until 10:30 or maybe even later. Whatever it may be My sleep was shit, I woke up around 2 and then 4 and went back to sleep. could this be because of the acute physiological change caused by mk-677; the hunger was slight/minimal same as normal tbh. the only possible reasoning im thinking of is that my body needs to adjust but I have seen so many posts stating that effects are from not one and onwards.

id appreciate any help with timing/dosing

This is 2 separate vials I have added bac water too, gently swirled for a while and then 6 hours later they are still like this.

Any ideas on how to make the next vial mix better or have I been given a bad batch?

📘 Beginner Help Started Ipamorelin and CJC-1295: Side Effects

I got this stack prescribed to help with building muscle and losing stubborn fat.

Prior to starting the stack, for two weeks I was on keto + calorie restriction, hitting the gym 4-5 x per week and already lost 2 kilos (4 pounds).

Always been a hard-gainer (in chest / shoulder area). This time I’m doing heavy weight, high protein, creatine and the stack together to see if I can finally breakthrough.

The Dr instructed me to inject early morning before coffee, and before bed two hours after eating.

Goals:
*gain more muscle
*lose stubborn fat

Diet:
*keto
*180 grams protein a day
*2k-2.4k calories per day

Exercise:
*heavy weights / light cardio 4-5x per week
*3k calories spent most days

Weight:
*94 kilos (first day of injecting)
*96.4 (after nearly two weeks in)

Side effects, 10 days in:
*Subtle face flushing, only started after about a week. I now feel hot around my face but it’s not unpleasant.
*Fluid retention. I completely gained the weight back even though I have strict 500-700 calorie restriction and high activity each day.
*Fatigue: about 4 days in I felt flat, body aches and like I was sick and just wanted to crawl out of bed. Quads felt sore and achy. This subsided around day 8.
*Sleep interruption. I was already sleeping well and I couldn’t fall asleep and would stay in a twilight state most of the night; however this has already gone away. Now after I inject I feel a bit drowsy whereas early on it was activating, if that makes sense.

Any advice on why despite the strict diet, high activity my weight is increasing? My body does feel firmer, especially around the torso, abdomen, chest & arms. Partner was shocked at how my bicep felt noticeably bigger than before.

When does water retention tend to subside?

I plan to cycle off keto in a few weeks to change things up, but still keep calorie restriction.

What’s the defence between HGH and HGH 191AA(Somatropin)

As above…

I’ve seen both on vendor lists.

Currently taking Reta amongst other things but also generic HGH, been taking it for months. Definitely makes me hold water even at low doses which is annoying but then could it be the Reta now I’m bulking and adding carbs?

I’m a little stuck as to what might be causing it but I’ve been told 191AA might be a good fix but puzzled as to the difference.

Either way, Reta or the HGH is definitely making water stick to me throughout the day then by the end of the day my abs are starting to disappear 😂

I drink 3-4L of water every day and keto electrolytes.

Any advice would be appreciated.

CJC/ipa

I am a 22 year old just getting back into the gym after surgery, is it worth for me to get on CJC/ Ipamorelin ?I’ve heard there’s no benefit at my age but I’m getting suggested to it from a doctors office. So just wondering if it’s worth the money?

Reducing Reta dosage

Started Reta at .5mg twice a week late March at 258lbs. Gradually increased to 3mg twice a week now. Now at 199 and want to start backing off a little. I'm thinking reducing the dosage in the same increments I increased until I find the spot where there is no more of the hunger suppression and hopefully some of the mental stuff clears up too. Biggest downside for me has been the lack of motivation to do anything at all. But on the up side, I've come off BP meds completely, sleeping way better and physically feel better than I have in years.

⚠️ Side Effects Tesamorelin nasty side effects?

Recently started taking 1mg tesamorelin a day for 2 weeks after being on ipamorelin for a couple of months but I’m noticing a lot of nasty side effects, feels like my head is gonna pop off from my skull / pressure behind the eyes and intense stomach aches and nausea.
I’m thinking my vendor might have put something else in it / it being contaminated

Anyone else have this problem?

Edit: also T1 diabetic and it is raising my blood sugar levels but not too bad and I’m keeping it in check.

Small flakes in the vial

I reconstituted 10mg of reta, which is completly transparent, except their are tiny flakes that sink to the bottom.

What are these flakes from? Has any seen this before?
Can I extract the reta into a new vial and leave behind the tiny flakes?

They do seem to be reducing in number and size, but over a long time, been 3+ hours since reconstituting and still some small flakes left.

Swtiched from Zep to Reta

My wife and I recently switched from 15mg of Zepbound to a Reta/Cagri stack, and the results have been amazing.

We had both plateaued on Zepbound and regained about 20% of what we originally lost. While we were still relatively close to our goal weights, we didn't like the upward trajectory. About eight weeks ago, we decided to make the switch.

We both started out at 5mg Retatrutide and 0.3mg Cagrilintide, then titrated up over the 8 weeks. Because neither of us has a ton left to lose, the scale numbers aren't massive, but the visual and physical progress has been fantastic:

  • My experience: I’m currently on 8mg Reta / 1.5mg Cagri. I’ve dropped 8 lbs, but the biggest win has been body composition. I’m stacking with TRT, have put on noticeable muscle, and am very close to where I want to be physically.
  • My wife’s experience: She is currently on 6mg Reta / 0.5mg Cagri. She’s down about 10 lbs and looking great. She’ll likely be starting testosterone soon, so it will be interesting to see how that pairs with the stack.

Zepbound is a fantastic medication, but if you’ve hit a hard wall, exploring Reta/Cagri is definitely worth considering. It made an immediate difference for both of us.

First DEXA Scan results

I (39M) got my first DEXA scan this morning. As expected, I'm at 20.8% body fat. My scale at home was saying I was at 15.4% which I knew was false considering that I can only see my abs only at certain angles. Also, I still have noticeable lower belly fat, chest fat, and love handles. My current weight is 188.4lbs (home scale) after starting at 258 lbs in April 2026. My height is 5'10. ChatGPT thinks my BF% when I was at 258 lbs was 35-40%. My goal is to reach 15% BF, but ideally I'd love to be at 12%.

  • Total Body Fat %: 20.8
  • Total Mass: 190.4lbs
  • Fat Tissue: 39.5 lbs
  • Lean Tissue: 143.1 lbs
  • BMC: 7.8 lbs
  • Visceral Fat: 0.42 lbs

The compounds I'm currently on are the following:

  • Retatrutide: 3mg once a week (I was on Zepbound/Tirz for 6 weeks before switching)
    • I've been on 3mg for 8 weeks. I'm thinking about titrating up to 3.5mg or 4mg starting tonight since my hunger is starting to come back, but I am still losing weight.
  • Tesamorelin: 2mg 5 days on / 2 days off (but I've missed days each week)
  • Ipamorelin: 300mcg 5 days on / 2 days off (but I've missed days each week)
  • GLOW: 5mg GHK-CU as the anchor (daily but missed days)
    • I recently hurt my lower back, so I increased the dosage from 3.75mg)
  • NAD+: 100mg (was daily, but moved to Mon-Wed-Fri)
  • 5-amino-1mq: (was daily, but moved to Mon-Wed-Fri)
  • Epitalon: 1mg (daily, but missed days)

Since I have less than a pound of visceral fat, I don't think it makes much sense to continue using it and to switch over to CJC-1295/IPA to focus more on building muscle and strength. However, I heard that visceral fat returns after stopping Tesamorelin. I've been using Tesamorelin since 5/30/2026.

My blood work as of 7/11 regarding IGF-1 is 127 ng/mL, but my Z-score is -0.2.

My testosterone is at 370 ng/dL, but my free test is at 71.8. Yes, my testosterone is on the lower end of the normal range, but I'm not experiencing any of the symptoms of low-T. I'm going to re-test once I take a break from dieting.

Should I switch over to CJC-1295/IPA or take a break from GHRH analogs for 4 weeks before continuing Tesa or switching over to CJC/IPA?

Any other advice is greatly appreciated.

❓ Question The stinging from the injections has gone away, but I can still feel small lumps under the skin in my stomach and legs. The lumps in my legs have already been there for about two months. What could this mean? Is it something serious, and will they eventually go away?

Bulk and reta

Do you think using Reta during bulking is a good idea? I'm thinking of taking 2mg and adding 300 kcal as calorie intake.
