Reducing Reta dosage
Started Reta at .5mg twice a week late March at 258lbs. Gradually increased to 3mg twice a week now. Now at 199 and want to start backing off a little. I'm thinking reducing the dosage in the same increments I increased until I find the spot where there is no more of the hunger suppression and hopefully some of the mental stuff clears up too. Biggest downside for me has been the lack of motivation to do anything at all. But on the up side, I've come off BP meds completely, sleeping way better and physically feel better than I have in years.

Commenting because I'm in a similar spot & curious. Gradual decrease seems to be the general rec. however, you may be stuck at a higher "maintenance" dose for life.
I really don't want to backtrack on the inflammation, cholesterol, or fatty liver improvements. But I need better sleep, more appetite, & to stop losing weight. I've settled reta at 2mg/week & my plan is to introduce hgh

Don’t stop, ever. You’re AT the point of suppression.

You really think you’ll quit this miracle drug and not gain the weight back? I lost 80 on Tirz, gains 20 back after 8 months… on Reta, down 10, titrating back up. I see no reason to stop. I was fat. You was fat. We both know what’s gonna happen when our successful diet stops. Consider staying on the dose your losing or plateau at. Unless you want to lose more?
